We’ve never given a negative review in our 9 plus years and 21 bookings using Rover, but unfortunately this experience was not a good one. Sitter did not follow explicit feeding instructions and when politely reminded, did not acknowledge the error so wasn’t assured that it would not happen again. We had previously booked a second sitting with the understanding that if either of us was not comfortable with the arrangement we would cancel. We initially had to revise the second sitting from 17 to 14 days and was told it would be no problem. We then received a refund for the 3 days less $75 for a late penalty. We advised the sitter of the change sbout 2 hours later than the 1 week deadline but the sitter refused our request to waive the fee, saying they lost the opportunity to have a booking during those 3 days. Turns out the sitter still listed availability for the entire 17 days. Because of that, we cancelled the entire booking, and were assessed an additional late fee of 50%. So after 9 years and 21 bookings, we post our first negative review.
Andre was really great at taking care of eva, she throughly enjoyed her stay. They were prompt and sent regular updates. Would definitely recommend.

Schedule
I work remotely, so I have plenty of time to pet sit and also would take advantage of their company as well. I may take breaks to walk them during the day and to make sure they feel good at my home.

I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment while closely following each pet’s routine and care instructions. Safety, cleanliness, and supervision are always a priority. I make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved, and I keep pet parents updated for peace of mind.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet includes making sure they’re fed, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I like to follow their routine and adjust to their energy level. We’ll go on walks, play with their favorite toys, do light training or enrichment games, and enjoy cuddle time if they like it. I’ll also send you updates and photos so you know they’re happy and well cared for.
