I do travel often for work so the further out I know for overnight days is the better. I also am available to walk dogs daily. I joined Rover while in grad school because I missed having animals around and have been caring for dogs and cats since. Now I work from home and have lots of flexibility in my schedule for care! . What sets me apart? Your pet’s experience: a safe, calm, and of course, fun time. I’ll take the time to learn their quirks, shower them with plenty of love, and make them as comfortable as possible while their human is gone. I don’t have any pets and only take on one Rover client at a time so I can give your pet(s) the dedicated, individualized care they deserve. I also work from home and have lots of flexibility in my schedule. This means less stress, sticking more closely to the routine they’re used to, and no fighting for attention! . Your experience: I know how important it is to have a trustworthy sitter or walker while you’re away for peace of mind and I pride myself on being responsible, detail-oriented, and communicative. For every booking, I send plenty of photos of your pet living their best life and discuss your communication preferences ahead of time so we can be on the same page. I have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule so I'm very happy to work with you to accommodate your needs or adjust if things change. For boarding, I live with my boyfriend in a spacious condo in Hyde Park, so there's plenty of room for your pet to play, get their zoomies out, or find a spot for some alone time. Although I'm the primary caregiver, he is also always up for a belly scratch or round of tug of war, so I consider him a nice bonus for your pet :) We live on a quiet one-way street on the top floor so there is minimal street noise and overstimulation. For house sitting, I know that your pets may be happiest in their own space, and I'm comfortable working in different environments to make sure they are safe and comfy! I will always be respectful of your space and communicative if any issues come up.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid. My many years of pet ownership has trained me for this opportunity. My Chewy is both happy and healthy. I’m recently retired. My daily schedule is built around the needs of my boy, Chewy. He’s walked at minimum three (3) times a day; my friends and family know the routine. I have a secure deck to allow fresh air and free movement with guaranteed security. I have a crate if needed, but think all dogs should have free movement daily.

About: I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was 10 years old, and am comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages! Additionally, I have seven years of experience pet/house sitting, including overnight. In the past few years, I have specialized in caring for puppies, and have experience with bottle feeding. I also had the unique opportunity to work with a coalition that supported people experiencing domestic violence by connecting their pets with fosters while they stayed in shelters (which normally do not allow animals.) I am currently a grad student at the University of Chicago, and have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule! Whether you would like me to stay at your home full-time while you are away, or just need me to stop by for periodic visits, walks, or play-time, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets! I am available both during the week and on the weekends, and can't wait to spend them hanging out with your cats and dogs! I am very comfortable walking dogs of all sizes, and am happy to take them outside to play as well! If your pet has any medication, I can make sure they take them. I will make sure that dogs have plenty of potty breaks, and that all animals are fed on time. If I am staying in your home, I will be respectful of any boundaries you have and will leave the place just as you left it.
