About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life and my house was always noisy. However, now that I’ve moved away from home I’ve been missing the little guys. Im going into a my Masters program at UChicago! I’m also a barista at Starbucks! I usually work in the early morning so my afternoons are pretty open! I have the upmost respect for others property and place. I would love to board animals at my apartment if you are comfortable with it! However, I will come second to only you in loving your animal.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Before joining Rover, I regularly used Wag to walk and care for dogs, so I’m familiar with working with different breeds, temperaments, routines, and owner preferences. I’m new to Rover, but not new to dog walking or pet care. I’ve also cared for dogs in my own home and helped friends and family with their pets. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, senior dogs, shy dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I enjoy long walks, exploring new neighborhoods, and making sure every dog gets the exercise, enrichment, and care they need. I live on Chicago's Far South Side, but most of my clients are in neighborhoods farther north, including Lincoln Park, Fulton Market, and nearby areas. I’m happy to travel for scheduled walks and drop-in visits, so I’m a good fit if you’re looking for a reliable walker or sitter who is willing to come to you. I’m happy to accommodate each dog’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, special instructions, and plenty of updates while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or a reliable sitter, I’ll treat them like one of my own. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine through caring for my own dogs. I’m used to incorporating walks, feeding, play, training, and general care into my day and paying close attention to each dog’s individual needs. I currently work part-time, and I enjoy being active and spending time with animals. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable managing dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. When caring for pets in my home, I prioritize safety and make sure all dogs are comfortable with one another. In clients’ homes, I follow their routines and instructions closely and focus on keeping their pets safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was 10 years old, and am comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages! Additionally, I have seven years of experience pet/house sitting, including overnight. In the past few years, I have specialized in caring for puppies, and have experience with bottle feeding. I also had the unique opportunity to work with a coalition that supported people experiencing domestic violence by connecting their pets with fosters while they stayed in shelters (which normally do not allow animals.) I am currently a grad student at the University of Chicago, and have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule! Whether you would like me to stay at your home full-time while you are away, or just need me to stop by for periodic visits, walks, or play-time, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets! I am available both during the week and on the weekends, and can't wait to spend them hanging out with your cats and dogs! I am very comfortable walking dogs of all sizes, and am happy to take them outside to play as well! If your pet has any medication, I can make sure they take them. I will make sure that dogs have plenty of potty breaks, and that all animals are fed on time. If I am staying in your home, I will be respectful of any boundaries you have and will leave the place just as you left it.

About: I've been raised with 2 dogs in the household and have taken care of them on my own for long periods at a time. I currently work at a doggy daycare called The Pawfect Friend in Chciago and have experienced working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I always enjoy tending to a dog's needs and I love treating them as if they were my very own! I am currently a college student at SAIC but I take care of my partner's dog whenever I am home. I make sure to provide measured amounts of food, refilling his water bowl, and taking him out to enjoy long walks around different types of scenery. After all, it's his life to experience the world as well. I remain very organized and plan ahead when scheduling events so you can expect the same from me in terms of communication and stable times set to take care of your pet. I will make sure that each dog gets some play time and some relaxing time in their own home, regardless of walks and feeding times.

About: I’ve always been the one my family goes to train our pets ever since we got our first dog; and it’s been my favorite job ever since! I love learning about different breeds but most importantly how to speak their language. From puppies to elderly cats, I’m happy to care for your fur babies. I’m a recent Masters student at UChicago and have full availability! From mornings to overnight stays, I’m happy to be there for a walk or drop in. My own pups thrive on routine but it’s understandable if yours enjoy that nonchalant schedule. I do think play time, mental stimulation, and a local sniffari is the best way for a good nights sleep. On our walks, I’ll try to make the most of our time together by seeing what environments they feel most safe in.

About: I'd love to walk your dog downtown or along nature trails. I adapt to your dog's favorite pace: I enjoy leisurely walks, faster hikes, or even jogging if your dog is into this. I also don’t mind walking in the cold, as long as your dog is safe and happy with it. I enjoy dogs who are playful and social. My schedule is flexible, which gives me availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day and what you need. I’m available throughout the week and on select weekends, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. At home in Colombia, my house was full of paws: four cats, a shepherd dog, and a beagle before that. I've also pet sat for friends' dogs, including a Yorkie and a Cocker Spaniel. I have a special patience for puppies: the training, the energy, the chaos; I genuinely love it. And since I'm not working right now, your pet gets my full attention, all day long. No rushing home after a shift, just 100% focused, loving care. I live in Hyde Park, right in front of Harold Washington Park, and just minutes from Jackson Park, so long walks and outdoor playtime are always on the menu! I considered studying veterinary but realized I simply can't stand seeing animals suffer, which tells you everything about how much I care. For dogs, living right in front of Harold Washington Park and minutes from Jackson Park means fresh air and walks are always just steps away. I also offer overnight stays, so pets can settle in and feel truly at home. At your home: I understand that many pets, especially cats, feel most comfortable in their own space. When visiting your home, I follow your pet's established routine as closely as possible, feeding schedules, litter care, favorite toys, nap spots. I don't just stop by quickly, I stay long enough for real playtime and genuine connection. In both cases: I treat every pet like my own. Growing up with cats, dogs, and everything in between taught me to read animal behavior, respect their boundaries, and give them the kind of love and patience they deserve. About: I Love animals. Especially dogs and cats. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all kind. Your pet will be staying in my home, so they will have the whole house to themselves. I take extra long walks to the park and the beach often. You will never find anyone more invested in your best friend. Every hour of every day is dedicated to caring for your best friend. I am very active. I go to the gym 5 days a week. Working with dogs and cats gives me what we need in order to stay fit and mental stable. I will have your doggies tired at the end of the day!! The doggies and kitties have the entire house to their self. I have a big home with 4 floors. I also have a large yard that is fenced in and totally secure. No one gets in or out unless I decide to.

About: My childhood dog, Lilly, was my responsibility since I was 10 years old, so I have lots of experience walking, feeding, and generally caring for dogs! I also have 3 years of experience on Rover, in addition to years of experience caring for pets for friends and family. I am currently in school, but my proximity to campus and flexible schedule allows me to take care of your pets both in my home or in yours. I don’t currently have pets of my own, but I grew up with pets in the house and have experience with my loved ones’ animals. About: Fenced yard front all around. I will be sure your doggo gets playtime and walks to the park. I work from home so I can provide regular supervision and accommodation for any special needs. Currently working from home. I have a routine of a minimum of 3 walks per day with my dog and plenty of outside time in my fully fenced yard. I also make sure there is playtime in additional to treats and other physical needs. I understand that dogs need more than just potty breaks and food and water. I take the time to provide the attention and care that every dog needs. I provide a space for large dogs to be themselves in a safe and secure environment.
