I’m Maya, and I have 6+ years of experience volunteering with various rescue organizations, and additionally I have 2+ years of experience petsitting for households with over 5 cats and 5 dogs! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested or have any questions! Thursday and Saturday are my free days, and I can devote all my attention on those days to your babies. The remainder of the week, I begin work at 3pm-10pm, and I would love to check in on your pets before and after work. Just let me know your needs and I can work with you and take time off if you’re looking on going on a vacation. I know how to handle pets. Trust me—I’ve seen a lot. I’ve dealt with both gentle and more aggressive breeds and know how to keep your pet safe and calm. If your pet needs crating, just let me know. “My dog Avery appeared happy on her walk with Joel, and he was also very understanding when I accidentally gave him the wrong address. I would definitely hire Joel again next time Avery needs a walk!”

“Emily is great with Bug - bug is high energy and but anxious and Emily was fantastic and flexible with us as we learn to navigate Rover. Highly recommend her as a walker!”

“This is the second time I’ve requested Laura’s time, she was great as last time, it’s really scary leaving your pet with a stranger but I would definitely recommend Laura! Very responsive, kind, and most importantly my dog loves her”

“Beatriz was an instant hit with my pup, Charlie! She was kind, slow, and won over this anxiety-ridden girl in record time. I’m impressed with her communication and 10/10 recommend her!”

“While walking our dog for the first time, Dilrose accidentally lost our house key and found herself locked out — a mistake that truly could happen to anyone. What mattered most to us was how she handled the situation. She called me immediately, took full ownership, retraced her steps searching for the key, and most importantly stayed with our dog the entire time until my husband was able to get home and let her back inside. Things inevitably happen, and when they do, you want someone you can trust to communicate honestly, stay calm, and prioritize your pet’s wellbeing. We really appreciated Dilrose’s accountability, care, and concern for our dog throughout the situation. Thank you!”

“Aaron was a great dog sitter for me and my pup, Calvin. He met and exceeded our expectations for taking care of Calvin, was an excellent communicator, took photos, sent updates via the app and text. I could not have asked for more. Highly recommend him and on future excursions we will keeping our "paws" crossed that Aaron is available. :)”

“Carly was very accommodating and kind with our dog. She walked him 3 days in a row and was clearly a great companion for our little guy. We really appreciated all her help!”

About: I've grown up with a wide range of different dogs, with a range of different sizes and temperaments. In highschool adopted and trained a of my own, and because of my experience as a pet owner my extended family started to pay me to dog sit their pets, and they recommended me to their friends. When I moved out to Chicago my work made me too busy to own a dog myself, but now during the off season I have heaps of time and I miss having a furry friend around! I currently work from home, and so I'll be able to tend to your dog at all times of the day, making keeping their routine easy for me and your pup. I don't often have to leave the house for long periods of time, even with errands, but if I ever do I have roommates around who can make sure your dog doesn't feel lonely. I work from home currently and so your pup won't have to be alone when they visit with me. We don't have a yard, but our block has plenty of greenery and a handful of parks within a short distance of my house. My roommate has a cat as well, and she grew up with dogs before moving here and they've always gotten along really well. But she mostly sticks to my roommates room as she's prefers her own company over the company of others. I've got a big room I'm perfectly happy to share, so if your pup gets anxious alone at night you won't have to worry. They'll also have access to the living room throughout the day and night, so if they need some alone time in a new environment they'll be able to relax on our couch. With such an open schedule, if your pup needs to eat, go out, or get medication at a certain time we'll be able to make sure their routine doesn't get disrupted during their stay.
About: Hi, I’m Lauren. After moving from Boston to Chicago and being without my dog, I started pet sitting and volunteering at a local dog rescue. I’ve worked with all types of dogs, big, small, reactive, chill, playful, independent, and everything in between. I'm an early riser, available for walks as early as sunrise, and flexible in the evenings. Working from home also provides me with the advantage of being available for multiple walks and check-ins throughout the day. I live in a pet-friendly building in Logan Square with an elevator, but if your dog prefers stairs, that’s totally fine, we can take them instead. At your house, I will make sure I’m comfortable with the layout and will stick to your usual routine.
About: Hi! I have over 10 years of experience taking care of a wide variety of animals. I have worked as a walker, sitter, and have been a parent myself! I would love to love on your special friend and take good care of them:) lgbtq discount offered please just ask :) I have open availability on Monday-friday for walks, visits, and overnight sits. I am available on the weekends from 12-5pm. I am best reached two days in advance or more, but am open to same day as well. Slow and patient is my motto. I'm very attuned to body language and do not want to overstimulate the animal. I place a lot of trust that parents know their babies best and will come in asking lots of questions about how best to provide care, so that I come in knowing how to make my visits happy, fun, safe, and successful!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Logan Square
Madison is very sweet with our girl and super responsive. She has great communication with us and sends perfect updates and pics. She even helped us out when we had a last minute time change and a rain storm. We appreciate her very much and will confine to use her services.

Roxy is a dream! My senior dog was sick earlier in the week and needed some extra attention when Roxy walked him. Think extra food, medicine, walks, etc. Roxy handled the whole thing like a champ AND agreed to watch him on extremely short notice. 1000% would book again!

Oleksandra was great! My girl sassy was tired and happy when I came home. I know they had some great playtime together and sassy was super comfortable with her, which is hard! Sassy can be very shy. She’s high energy but still shy and coming home to a tired happy dog is wonderful. Thanks oleksandra!!!

Lina was an absolute lifesaver! She was able to squeeze in our dog for a last-minute week of walks! The day before our dog had an unexpected procedure done and required a little more TLC than she usually does, and Lina was just the person for it! She kept me up to date on how our dog was doing and gave her extra love! We will be using Lina again and I highly recommend her!
