“Isaac walked my pup 4 days a week for about 6 weeks. She is very anxious, so I was worried about her with someone new. But he was wonderful with her. My favorite part of the day was receiving all her photos around lunch time. He would send several after every visit. If we weren’t moving, we would’ve stuck with him forever. Thanks so much Isaac!”

“My dog Avery appeared happy on her walk with Joel, and he was also very understanding when I accidentally gave him the wrong address. I would definitely hire Joel again next time Avery needs a walk!”

About: I grew up with dogs and had my own for nearly 15 years, so I know those sweet creatures are family. We love dogs of all ages and understand and appreciate the special considerations that come with caring for an older dog. Younger pups and those with spunk will enjoy good walks and playtime. I have been the go-to dog sitter for friends and family for years. Small dogs, big dogs, high-energy dogs, cuddly dogs, dogs who prefer space, I have pretty much seen it all and am good at intuiting their needs. I work from home, so I can offer the attention and love they need to feel comfortable in our space, and I will be sure to send photo and video updates so you can rest assured your sweetie is in good hands! Side note: We live on the second floor, so there are 16 stairs at the front of the building to get to our apartment. Although most dogs we've cared for haven't had any issues, some dogs may find them precarious. There are also wider, wooden stairs in the back that are not slick and are an easy option. You can find pictures of both in my photos. My husband and I live in Logan Square and love getting out to walk around the neighborhood, and having a companion walker is lovely. If we need to leave, we may gate the dog in a specific area of the house with water and whatever creature comforts they need, depending on whether or not they express separation anxiety. We will ensure your dog is fed, let out for potty breaks, walked, and given medication if required. They will never be given people food or treats that you don't provide or that you haven't approved. Dogs are allowed on furniture, including the bed, but can be crated if that is your preference. They will have full reign of the house. All dogs are unique in their needs and personalities, and we will make sure we understand the best way to provide them with loving care.

“Aaron did a meet and greet before walking Fawn and eased my mind of having a new person walk her. I love getting pictures of her and he did just that without me even asking! I would book again with him.”

“Emma did a great job of taking care of our sweet girl. She was very communicative and kindly brought our packages inside when we were away. Thank you so much-highly recommend!”

“Bella LOVES her walks with Peter, Casey, and Khalil! Seriously she walks better and further than them than she does with us. We are so appreciative of all the care and attention they give our girl when she’s with them!”

“Michael and Robyn did a wonderful job walking our puppy Bear the past couple of days! They were very punctual and reliable. We booked on short notice and Michael still made it over for a much appreciated meet and greet prior to our scheduled walking. We got plenty of details and updates about the walks and will definitely book with them in the future.”

“Molly is a wonderful person. She cares for my fur baby Tyson extremely well. They interact with each other so well, and Molly knows how to handle his puppy behavior. I love that I received a daily report card with photos/videos reassuring me that my boy is happy and healthy. Molly is very knowledgeable about dogs. I value that tremendously because she helps reinforce his training in my absence. It’s been 11 years since I’ve been a mom to a puppy so I definitely need the help and experience.”

“Tessa is a life-saver! She came in to save the day after we had a last minute cancellation from our usual walker. She showed up EXACTLY on time both days and gave Pablo extra long walks.”

“Sarah is great!! My dog warmed right up to her and we both feel comfortable with her. I feel like I can trust her and she’s been easy to communicate with. So grateful to have found her!”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren. After moving from Boston to Chicago and being without my dog, I started pet sitting and volunteering at a local dog rescue. I’ve worked with all types of dogs, big, small, reactive, chill, playful, independent, and everything in between. I'm an early riser, available for walks as early as sunrise, and flexible in the evenings. Working from home also provides me with the advantage of being available for multiple walks and check-ins throughout the day. I live in a pet-friendly building in Logan Square with an elevator, but if your dog prefers stairs, that’s totally fine, we can take them instead. At your house, I will make sure I’m comfortable with the layout and will stick to your usual routine.
“Ali took great care of my dog on my first day back in the office after working from home for months! She sent me a multitude of pictures and made sure my pup was all worn out when she got back! My dog “excited pees” every time she meets someone new and Ali even cleaned up and made sure my home looked good as new! I will definitely be booking a walk/visit with Ali again soon and 100% recommend her! :)”

“Michele is such a kind and caring walker. She goes above and beyond asking questions to give love specific to him. She also responds very quickly and has helped me on a few last minute occasions!”

Logan Square dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nathan is the best walker. Sparky had recurring weekly walks while I was in the office. Great communicator, showed up through all weather and took wonderful care of my dog. Nate was well liked by Sparky who knew him by name. It was wonderful to have such a trustworthy, reliable walker.

Brooke is an incredible dog walker, my Kody was always in good hands with her. Brooke is reliable and a great communicator: two important qualities for an ongoing walking arrangement. She is also so patient that my skiddish dog was almost immediately comfortable with her. You won’t regret booking with Brooke!

Tetiana is such a hard worker. She manages her time, comes early and takes my pup for a nice walk, allowing for plenty of exercise. Tetiana is very reliable and responds almost immediately to requests and messages. She makes me feel at ease knowing my dog is well cared for at home.

Shaylee was amazing with my 8mo old pup, Molly! She is very accommodating, kind and even helped train Molly on her walks and around other dogs.. not only did I learn so much but so did Molly! She was always looking out for her and was so attentive to her needs and while around other dogs. Unfortunately we had to move out of the area, but we would of loved to of kept scheduling walks with Shaylee! I highly recommend Shaylee..we will miss our time with her!❤️🐾
