About: I grew up in a multi-cat household, but I love furry friends of all kinds! I’d love to take your dog for a walk and drop in to keep them happy! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I can drop in weekdays and weekends daily. I will check in with your pet, feed them, and send you pics and updates every time! For cats, I can clean litter boxes. For dogs, I can walk take them on short walks.

About: I love dogs and cats and have grown up with them all my life. I have two labs at home and together we love going for walks in the park, the 606, and anywhere else with good smells. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or cuddle time, I’m your guy to make sure pet has a safe and relaxing experience while you’re away from home. I’m currently working as a volunteer within the community so have very flexible hours throughout the week. I will prioritize your pet’s need above all and will always be available for contact. I have two labs at home who are very social and active. We go for walks 4x a day and play in our fenced in backyard.

About: Hi! My name is Kate. I’ve had pets all my life, all ages too! I have experience with newborn pups and senior babes. We raised golden retriever puppies growing up, as well as rats, cats, and horses. I currently have two miniature schnauzers who rule my world. I moved to Chicago 6 years ago, so I would love to have a buddy to explore the city with. We can walk the 606, lakefront, or venture to the dog park. If your canine pal would prefer to sit in the shade, I’ll bring a blanket. Im pretty easy going, nothing really gets to me. I promise your canine pal will have a great time in my care! I am very familar with medically complex and fragile animals as one of my own babies is complex. I am comfortable administering all oral forms of medication (pills, gel, liquids, etc.). I have experience with epileptic dogs and can manage their care. I work from home full time, with a short break to go on a run or to the gym in the evening. I am rarely gone more than 2 hours at a time. My dogs receive 2-3 walks per day with lots of attention while I am home. For walks and drop-in’s, I prefer set time schedules so I can build it into my day. I have a fenced yard that is shared with the rest of my building for quick midday potty breaks, but I always provide 2-3 walks per day for my pups. I can provide as much exercise and walk time as your pup needs. Does your pup wanna go on a run? I can provide that too. I only accept dogs that are kennel trained as we do kennel our own dogs when we leave for their safety. In your own home, I’m comfortable following whatever your normal routine is. I have experience with epileptic dogs and can manage their care.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and currently have two of my own. I have experience with different feeding schedules, giving medication, and playtime. I know how to respect animals and always recognize their boundaries. My experience with dogs is shorter, but I will take great care of your dog while on walks or drop in visits. I currently work from home a few days a week and have availability during the day or on the weekend to spend some time with your babies! I am conscious that each animal has different needs. I make sure to properly care for each pet and communicate with you to learn their specific needs.

About: I have several years of experience walking and taking care of friends and family's dogs and have two cats of my own at home as well. I work full-time and remotely so I am very flexible and available almost anytime of the week. I can make time for your pets with advanced notice. I have worked with both gentle and aggressive pets before and am able to ensure they receive the special care and attention that they need.

About: I'm so excited to help take care of your pet, whether through walking, popping in for a playdate, or watching overnight! I have always loved caring for pets and helped care for my 3 family dogs and 3 cats, friends' and families' pets, and now have a whippet mix of my own! I have experience with both social dogs and those more timid of people and other animals, and I will adapt walking, play, and care to different temperaments. As a dog owner, I understand how unique each pet's needs are, and I'm prepared to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe in any way they need. I can't wait to meet your pet! I recently ended a seasonal work position, so I am currently searching for my next job. I am available and able to be at your home all day and give your pet all the attention and care they need! I would be happy to take your pup on long walks, to the dog park, or in your own yard–whichever they need! About: I grew up with a dog but, as an adult, I really started to fall in love with them. My sister and I adopted our first dog, a rescue puppy, and I miss her to this day. She was a lab/border collie (and probably a bunch of other breeds) mix and she was with us for an amazing 18+ years. Since then, I've had two other pups, my current being another rescue (yep, I'm a foster fail) named Shirley, who I adopted from a local shelter almost 6 years ago. Besides wanting to engage with every neighborhood doggo I (and Shirley) see, I've learned a lot over the years. Most recently, we became trained as a therapy animal team. I love it - and I think she does too. We volunteer at hospitals, the local VA facility, and libraries & schools that have Read with Me programs, enabling kids to build confidence in their reading skills by reading to dogs. It's really fulfilling and brings me even closer to the canine community but also highlights how truly special - I'd even go so far as to use the word "miraculous" these creatures are. I primarily work from home, so weekday lunchtimes are easy for me to do some steppin' with your pet. My dog pretty much loves every fellow canine she sees, so if your pup needs a walking buddy, we're down. I'm also free for evening walks as well as most weekends. I'm vigilant about making sure that my dog, as well as any fosters I've had in my home, have a safe, comforting place to chill and decompress. When on walks, I always make sure to have water with me and carry a collapsible dog bowl so we can stop at a moment's notice. Learning more about dogs' natural signals and body language has also helped me be more prepared when engaging with dogs I don't know and learning how to help an anxious or threatened dog feel more safe around an unknown human. In a nutshell, I love animals - I have ever since I an remember - and I do everything I can to make sure they know how special they are.

About: I've house/pet sat for neighbors my whole life. I recently moved back to Chicago, and spent a year volunteering at One Tail at a Time (and fulfilled their animal training requirements). I'm looking to get out of the house and get some snuggles in! I work completely remote, so my schedule is flexible (especially when I have breaks between meetings). I have a car and can get around easily to do drop-ins or walks! I treat every animal with respect understanding that each of them have unique experiences and personalities! Some may be more outgoing than others, which is completely ok. I place safety above all when it comes to pet care.
