About: I’ve taken care of neighbor’s, friend’s, and family’s dogs since I was in high school. I’ve watched after cats with varying temperaments and personalities as well as puppies, seniors, large, and small dogs of a variety of breeds. I have a 5.5 year old terrier mix named Harriet that I’ve raised and trained since she was a puppy and she is my best friend. I work remotely from home with flexible hours, so I will be able to step out throughout the day to check in on any pets or take dogs on a walk or have playtime! I am happy to provide any care/attention you’d like for your dog. About: Hi, I’m Lauren. After moving from Boston to Chicago and being without my dog, I started pet sitting and volunteering at a local dog rescue. I’ve worked with all types of dogs, big, small, reactive, chill, playful, independent, and everything in between. I'm an early riser, available for walks as early as sunrise, and flexible in the evenings. Working from home also provides me with the advantage of being available for multiple walks and check-ins throughout the day. Joel is great dog trainer and his work with Enzo helped me to overcome increasingly stressful walks with Enzo. He is mainly working on leash pooling and to take treats gently as of right now. It is work in progress, but I see improvements. Joel is responsive and helpful.
Maya is the BEST! I had an event to attend and she made sure my baby was taken care of through out the whole day! She stopped by twice , took Chuco on 2 walks and even feed him dinner for me! I couldn’t be more grateful. My dog, Chuco, is always in a better mood when he gets to spend time with Maya!
