About: I love dogs and cats and have grown up with them all my life. I have two labs at home and together we love going for walks in the park, the 606, and anywhere else with good smells. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or cuddle time, I’m your guy to make sure pet has a safe and relaxing experience while you’re away from home. I’m currently working as a volunteer within the community so have very flexible hours throughout the week. I will prioritize your pet’s need above all and will always be available for contact. I have two labs at home who are very social and active. We go for walks 4x a day and play in our fenced in backyard.

Doing this part time, so I will be available mostly on weekends and during mornings on weekdays. I am happy to work with owners existing schedules! In terms of my care style, I try my best to maintain the owner’s existing routine when I go to their home. For pets staying with me overnight, I have a completely sealed off yard available and Eckhart Park a few blocks away.

About: Hello! I’m an avid dog lover who has grown up around dogs my entire life and have been dog and house sitting for over six years. I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities- from Great Danes, Husky mixes, and Labs to Chihuahua mixes, Terriers, and Goldendoodles. Growing up with and training energetic bird dogs taught me from an early age how important exercise, mental stimulation, and routine are to a happy, well-adjusted dog. I genuinely love spending time outdoors and believe every dog deserves plenty of walks, playtime, affection, and attention tailored to their individual needs and personality. As a house sitter, I’m respectful, responsible, and tidy. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires a great deal of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I aim to keep your home clean, secure, and well cared for while you’re away, while making sure your pets receive the same level of attention and care they would receive from you. For years, I’ve built a small, trusted client base in Missouri through word-of-mouth referrals for both house and dog sitting. After recently moving to Chicago, I’m excited to meet new clients and build that same sense of trust and community here through Rover. When possible, I prefer to hop on a phone call and meet you and your dog in-person beforehand. I find that taking the time to do so ensures all parties feel more comfortable and on the same page on expectations of care before the stay begins. References are available, and I’d love to chat about how I can best care for your pets and home. I currently work remotely, which allows me to be available to care for your dog throughout the day. As a higher-end dog sitter, my focus is entirely on the dog in my care, and my current work situation allows me to provide the attentive, one-on-one care they deserve. Because I live in an apartment, boarding is not the best fit for me at this time. However, when caring for pets in my clients home, I strictly adhere to their normal routine as much as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I grew up with a beagle and a dachshund, so small breed dogs, but have ample experience sitting and caring for big, medium, and small pups! I have some experience training from training my own puppies, but over the last few years have shifted into providing the extra love and care needed for my family’s senior dogs. I love taking them for long scenic walks, going on adventures, snuggling, and giving them all the love they deserve! I’m currently a medical student with a very flexible schedule, and am home most of the day. When I do have class, it’s for no more than 3 hours at a time, maybe once or twice a week, and then I spend the rest of the day studying from home. So I have ample time to spend with your pet! I have had family pets all my life, so now that I’ve had to leave my cat and dog because I moved out of state for school, I am missing having a fuzzy best friend to hang out and be active with! Rest assured I will treat your pet with all the love I would treat my own! I treat every pup just like they’re my own and love to lay around and snuggle but also enjoy going on nice long walks. There are a few parks within walking distance and lots of green tree-lined side streets we can stroll through. I want your pet to be as comfortable as possible in my home and will accommodate them any way I can!

About: Moved to Chicago and thought I would get back on Rover since there are so many cute dogs in the city. I am very flexible on what I charge. I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years-old. I work in the veterinary world. So I have a passion for animals. I trained my own dogs from puppies to well-behaved adults. I have experience with high maintenance dogs in regards to appetite, walking time, and play time. My experience has helped me become a well-rounded sitter/walker to help your dog thrive while you are not around. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule on Monday, Thursday, Friday. I am home at 5pm Tuesday and Wednesday. I am able to walk or watch your dog after 5pm on those days. I also have full-availability on the weekends. I don’t mind doing house sit ins. I have an apartment with an open space. There is a grass yard in front of my apartment and lots of areas to walk your dog around my residence. I can walk your dog on the 606 trail. I can crate your dog based on your needs and your pets.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I bring hands on experience to every booking: I've pet sat, volunteered with PAWS, and recently fostered a puppy through the demands of potty training and constant attention. I have experience caring for elderly dogs and cats, and I'm currently helping my own pitbull adapt to going blind, which has taught me patience, close observation, and how to make an animal feel safe no matter what they're going through. Since I work a flexible freelance/contract job, I'm able to build my schedule around pet care rather than squeezing it in around a 9-to-5. That means I can offer consistent midday visits, longer walks, and flexibility for last-minute bookings or extended stays. Animals are honestly one of my favorite parts of any day, so pet care isn't an obligation I'm fitting in, it's something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize. In my own home, I make sure pets have a comfortable, secure space to settle into, plenty of one-on-one attention, and a routine that mirrors what they're used to (feeding times, walks, play). In a client's home, I focus on keeping things as close to their normal routine as possible, same feeding schedule, same walk times, same spots for naps, so the pet feels minimal disruption while their owner is away. Either way, I treat their space and their pet with the same care I'd want for my own.

About: I’ve had a family dog for the past 12 years and grew up helping take care of him, so I’ve always been a huge dog lover! I’m comfortable with dogs of all kinds and am happy to do anything from a quick walk around the block to a long walk for pups with lots of energy. I’m reliable, clean, communicative, and will always make sure your dog gets plenty of attention and love. I’m currently a graduate student in dietetics at Loyola University, which gives me a flexible schedule and lots of availability for walks, drop ins, and pet sitting. I truly love being around dogs and would be so excited to care for yours! I’m currently a graduate student in the Dietetics program at Loyola University’s Maywood Medical Campus. I have class on Mondays from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, but otherwise have a pretty flexible schedule! I do have plenty of homework and studying, but I can work from almost anywhere and love taking breaks for walks, playtime, and lots of pets. I truly love animals, and pet sitting is a great fit for me because it works well with my graduate school schedule while giving me an excuse to spend more time with dogs!
