“Lisa did a a GREAT job with Barney! I can tell she enjoys walking dogs and that he liked her very much. She’s a wonderful communicator and a very nice person. I would definitely rebook Lisa! I know Barney would be so excited to see her.”

About: Hello! I'm Kaleigh, a passionate animal lover with 6 years of experience caring for pets. I understand that your furry family members are important, and I'm committed to providing them with the same love and attention they receive at home. I'm reliable, responsible, and dedicated to ensuring your pet's safety and happiness. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, and any other specific care your pet may need. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I've structured my days to prioritize pet care. I believe in consistent routines for animals, so I create a schedule that includes regular feeding times, exercise, and playtime. I'm also very adaptable and can easily adjust my routine to meet the specific needs of each pet. Whether it's administering medication or providing extra cuddles, I'm committed to providing attentive and reliable care. During drop-in visits, I focus on providing essential care, including feeding, watering, and bathroom breaks. I also dedicate time to playtime and interaction to ensure the pet's comfort and happiness. I meticulously follow any medication schedules and provide detailed updates to the owner.
“Sarah is great!! My dog warmed right up to her and we both feel comfortable with her. I feel like I can trust her and she’s been easy to communicate with. So grateful to have found her!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’m comfortable caring for pets across the entire energy spectrum, from independent shy cats to high-energy athletic dogs. I currently have two cats of my own, so I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. One of my cats is shy and requires daily medication, so I’m experienced with administering medications and helping nervous pets feel comfortable and safe. My other cat is incredibly social, food-motivated, and always ready to remind me exactly when dinner should be served, so I’m no stranger to pets who know what they want! I also grew up with two Vizslas, which taught me just how much exercise, attention, patience, and consistency active dogs need. Whether your pet is looking for a playmate, a walking buddy, extra cuddles, or simply someone reliable to stick to their routine, I’m happy to provide the care they need. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and while I absolutely adore my cats, I’m always excited for an opportunity to get my dog fix, too. I’d love to meet your pets and help make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I have a 9-5 but I can work remotely whenever I’d like and I can step away during the day to take care of your pets. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine, providing attentive care, administering medications if needed, and treating your home with the same respect and care as my own.
About: I am attentive, empathetic, and patient. I pride myself on respecting fur friend’s boundaries so I have been taking time to learn about important body language cues. Additionally, I love making homemade treats for animals (don’t worry i’ll always double check for allergies or dietary restrictions before giving anything to your pet). Most importantly, I treat all animals in my care as if they are my own and take the responsibility of their care seriously so that you can have peace of mind while you are away :) Most of my days consist of coding lessons, crafting, reading, watching a relaxing show, going for leisure walks and/or doing somatic exercises to destress. Outside of these activities, I enjoy spending time with my friends in the city. Though most of the times this happens on the weekends. So don’t worry i’ll be available for good chunks of time to care for your pet. And if I ever need to step out, I’ll always make sure to communicate ahead of time and try not to be away for more than 3-4 hours. I start with building trust with the fur friend, which usually just looks like allowing them to sniff my hand and over time bonding through play and care. Ideally when pet sitting I follow my clients schedule which means feeding and walking at designated times. If there is not a designated schedule then days will usually look like this, Breakfast at 8am, Cool down time post breakfast until 9am (unless pups need to be let out immediately after to go potty), Walking between 9-10, 10-1 break time with snacks or playtime or a mixture of me playing with the pups and doing work, 1-2 potty break and walk time, 2-5 break time for the pups and more work for me, 5-6 dinner and cool down time, and finally between 7-10 the final walk of the day. I also ensure that I maintain a clean space. I can also now say that I am pretty well versed in giving oral medications to animals, though of course if there is anything additional I should know feel free to tell me!
About: Hi! My name is Christy. I’ve been around animals ever since I was a kid. My family always had 4 German shepards or cats at all times. I’m very fond of animals and can usually get along with any kind pretty quickly. I'm new to the Chicago area! I'm looking to restart petsitting before I start full-time employment. Currently, I have pretty open availability on weekdays and weekends alike. I can spend time with your fur baby either inside or outdoors, whichever is your preference. I have two cats of my own so I'd prefer not to bring any animals into my own home.
“Isaac helped us out on our wedding day with feeding and walking our dogs. He was on time and sent lots of photos! Would be happy to book Isaac again if we need help again!”

“Alexis is the best dog walker you could ask for! Kind, considerate and timely. She goes above and beyond. Don’t look anywhere else for the best dog walker in Chicago!”

“Lora was great and Apollo loved her! She met Apollo for a meet and greet to make sure he was comfortable, followed all walking instructions, and provided pictures/updates about how he did. Would definitely use her again!”

“Mara is kind, caring, and patient with my pup, Harriet. Because Harriet is shy and new to the city, Mara takes her time with her and makes her feel comfortable. Even after one week, Harriet is has come out of her shell and is excited each time Mara arrives. I trust her with Harriet and would recommend her to everyone.”

“Greysee was great! She helped me out when I got called into work and responded quickly. She was able to walk Pepper the day of with super short notice. She also took the time to feed her and take her on another quick post lunch walk. Fun pictures and all that good stuff included. Thanks again!”

West Town dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lina was an absolute lifesaver! She was able to squeeze in our dog for a last-minute week of walks! The day before our dog had an unexpected procedure done and required a little more TLC than she usually does, and Lina was just the person for it! She kept me up to date on how our dog was doing and gave her extra love! We will be using Lina again and I highly recommend her!

Eunice was absolutely the best. Not only did she agree to take on several days of walks with Goonie at the very last minute, but she was also incredibly punctual and responsive throughout. I have a senior dog who is very sweet but requires extra care, and Eunice handled this beautifully. She showed Goonie nothing but patience, love, and attention, and I truly appreciated her kindness and hard work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and compassionate dog walker.

Sophia is the absolute best, I could not recommend her more. This is the second booking she’s looked after our puppy Poppy and she’s been fabulous every time. Poppy was spayed 3 days ago, and Sophia got her to take all her pills (no small feat as our girl is very squirmy) and is incredibly patient, caring, and attentive. We are so thrilled to know Sophia and she is our go-to for puppy care.

Meg did an awesome job taking my dog for a few walks this week. From our meet and greet to her thoughtful messages and walk summaries, I can tell Meg is so caring with the pets she watches. I was so appreciative she reached out and was able to come over before a storm started to keep my dog company for a little while :) Thanks so much Meg!
