Salem loves Obie and I couldn’t be more grateful! They were a joy to have over for a little meet and greet with my pup Obie. He is an opinionated sassy cattle dog and would not do well with a stranger coming in unannounced! Fortunately, he loves Salem and is getting more confident each walk they do. They always give me picture and text updates while walking! I could be happier with our new dog walker ! Thanks Salem!

Stavroula was a good communicator and I really appreciated her accepting my last minute booking. I like that she took pictures of my dog during their walks. I can tell Izzy liked her too… he seemed confused that she left after the walk instead of staying to hang out 😂

About: I have had dogs all my life. Growing up a Old English Sheep dog(ralphie) a Chihuahua(Penny) When i was out on my own, I had a jack Russell terrier(Spot), in college 3 Chow Chows(Gannon) later a Great Dane and lastly a Pit Bull (Pixley). So I have had small to extra large dogs and loved them all, I am very good with them and most dogs gravitate toward me. I am very patient with them as they are what I call perpetual 2 year olds!! In conclusion I would like to say what an honor it would be for me to share some time with your dog and to put you at ease while you are gone knowing your dog is safe and with an experienced and caring sitter. i am currently running a non profit and have alot of time during most days and evenings to take care of your animals in best way i do boarding and drop ins ,housitting and walks at your place. I like this most as the dogs are in a more comfortable environment.

About: I grew up with many dogs and have a good understanding of how much work goes into taking care of dogs, but also how much fun and rewarding it can be! I love walking and being active with dogs, but also relaxing and cuddling! I live on a quiet street in Logan Square with my husband and two kids (4 and 6 years old). My children have been around dogs but they have never had one of their own. The kids are a bit shy around dogs but warm up quickly and are ever so gentle with all dogs they have ever interacted with! There are a few dog parks nearby where dogs can roam and play. We live in a single family home with a small front and back yard that is fenced in. Our home is big enough to accommodate dogs big and small. I work during the week, but am available on evenings and weekends. I would love to host, walk, play with and take care of your dog. I promise to treat your pet as if it was my own! I currently work full time during the day Monday- Friday but can provide multiple times for dogs to get exercise in the morning, after work and in the evening. My house has a fenced in front and back yard for dogs to get out some energy or lounge in the grass. My street is quiet and safe for walks down the sidewalk and I am only blocks away from the 606 trail for longer walks.

I couldn’t be happier with Dayanne . From the very first visit, it was clear that she genuinely care about my shadows needs . My dog can be a bit shy around new people, but she took the time to build trust and made him feel completely comfortable. Every walk is reliable, on time, and tailored to my dog’s energy level and needs. I also really appreciate the detailed updates and photos after each visit—it gives me peace of mind knowing he’s happy, exercised, and well cared for while I’m away. What truly sets her apart is her professionalism and love for animals. She goes above and beyond, whether it’s refilling water, giving extra attention, or noticing small changes in behavior. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and genuinely passionate about dogs, I highly recommend her . It’s made a huge difference for both me and my pup!

Isaac walked my pup 4 days a week for about 6 weeks. She is very anxious, so I was worried about her with someone new. But he was wonderful with her. My favorite part of the day was receiving all her photos around lunch time. He would send several after every visit. If we weren’t moving, we would’ve stuck with him forever. Thanks so much Isaac!

Would book again because Warisa is great at communicating with good timing and because walked my dog for the time I scheduled and did cut the walk short. She was honest that Codi didn't end up pooping which I appreciate. I wish she played with Codi for at least 2-3 minutes to get him acquainted with her as I mentioned that my dog loves to play catch with his toys but overall I would def book her again :)

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, there was always at least a few animals in my house growing up. I am a huge animal lover! Each animal is unique and aim to accommodate and adapt to each pet's needs. I have experience working with anxious and reactive animals and recognize the importance of taking things slow with new animal friends. Currently in the job market but in the meantime I have a ton of free time and what better way to spend it than with pets. Just let me know your schedule I we can work with it! I have a pretty big space for a pet to be in. Hardwood floors that are easy to clean. I live one block away from a huge city park so I can take a pet there all the time.

About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m a passionate, dependable animal lover based in Chicago. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, I truly see pets as family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same level of attention, patience, and love that I would give my own. I’m currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology, which has strengthened my ability to be attentive, responsible, and highly attuned to both behavior and emotional needs. This translates directly into how I care for pets, I’m observant, calm under pressure, and deeply committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for every animal I work with. I have experience caring for a variety of pets, including: Dogs of all sizes and temperaments Cats (including shy or more independent personalities) Pets with medical needs or specific routines I’m comfortable with: Feeding schedules and special diets Administering basic medications Long walks, playtime, and enrichment activities Maintaining routines to reduce stress and anxiety I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their personality, preferences, and needs. I currently work Monday through Thursday, but I still offer flexible pet care during those days with some time restrictions. Monday – Thursday Early mornings (before work) Evenings (after work) Limited mid-day availability (depending on location—feel free to ask!) Friday – Sunday Fully available and very flexible Ideal for longer visits, multiple check-ins, or house sitting Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take a thoughtful and attentive approach to care, ensuring that all routines, feeding schedules, and any specific instructions are followed closely. During walks and visits, I remain highly aware of my surroundings, making sure your pet is always secure and out of harm’s way. I am also observant of any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and will communicate promptly if anything seems off. Building trust with both pets and their owners is incredibly important to me, and I strive to be consistent, reliable, and transparent in every interaction. My background in psychology allows me to be especially attuned to animals’ behaviors and emotional needs, which is helpful for pets who may feel anxious, shy, or need extra patience. I aim to maintain a calm, clean, and familiar environment so your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you’re away, and I treat every home with the utmost respect. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with genuine attention, compassion, and professionalism.

About: I have experience with Dogs and cats, as well as other animals like lizards. I have experience medicating animals both through the care of my own pets as well as through my mother who is a veterinarian in Old Town. I've take care of dogs of all age ranges and energy levels. I am currently working freelance so my schedule is wide open to prioritize your pets. And I already have a dog a cat and a lizard that I take care of at home, so my daily routine is already oriented with pet care in mind. I like to spend time with pets both on and outside of walks, as I know they can get lonely when their owners aren't around, and so I can be better aware of how your pet is doing.

About: Hey there, my name is Pamela! I have a super well behaved service dog named Xena and we currently are getting settled back in the Chicago area. We are great friends with all the neighbor dogs in our neighborhood. As a dog owner I believe a pet is a family member and should be treated with respect and understanding! Nothing would make me happier than to give you peace of mind when you leave your pet behind with me. My full dedication goes to every dog I encounter. I live with my boyfriend so when I’m working nights, he’s taking care of my dog. It’s an awesome experience being with someone who loves animals as much as I do. Same goes for your pet! They will never be alone at home and will always have the exercise and attention they deserve. I always try to accommodate pet owners at there time of need. I have a fenced backyard. My dog who will keep your pup company. I walk my dog at home 3x a day and stimulate her with dog puzzles and games. We train 10-15 min a day on old tricks and on her new button system to communicate with me. If pet parents have similar requests, I love accommodating.
