About: 3 dog owner here, including a tripod. Two boys and a girl all came to us from people who could no longer care for them. Two were from former students and one from the husband of a colleague. I'm a full-time teacher and I also want to play with your dogs. My school hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I am happy to work out drop off, pick up, hang out time and potty breaks. My dogs have front and back fenced-in yards to hang out and run around. They are able to roam the house all day. They go on walks twice a day and we have recently incorporated logic toys to keep them sharp.

About: I love dogs and all kinds! I live in a great neighborhood with many dogs and very friendly people. I live close to a dog park where I love to take my dog. I am super excited to take care of other dogs and just have good time together! I am fully dedicated to pet care and pet sitting. Each buddy can have their own designated place either their own bed or crate provided by the pet parent or on a warm blanket I knitted myself!

About: I’ve raised my mini-golden doodle of 8 years from when he was 2 months old. I’ve trained him to potty outside & all the main tricks. He’s well behaved & gentle. That’s why many of my friends have trusted me with caring for their pets. Whether that be checking in to feed them, walk them, play with them, or even lightly train them. My friends think I’m a dog whisperer. I’m currently doing a career change & study for my Illinois real estate license. My availability is completely open and flexible at this time. Let me know what your needs are! I care for dogs in a way that respects their routine, their boundaries, and keep things clean and in order. Whether it be from dog sitting overnight, I have a keen ear to puppies and when they’re up to something or know when they need to go out to potty in the middle of the night. About: I have experience with Dogs and cats, as well as other animals like lizards. I have experience medicating animals both through the care of my own pets as well as through my mother who is a veterinarian in Old Town. I've take care of dogs of all age ranges and energy levels. I am currently working freelance so my schedule is wide open to prioritize your pets. And I already have a dog a cat and a lizard that I take care of at home, so my daily routine is already oriented with pet care in mind. I like to spend time with pets both on and outside of walks, as I know they can get lonely when their owners aren't around, and so I can be better aware of how your pet is doing.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

About: I have dog sat many of times and even trained to become a service dog volunteer. I have dog sat for a few month old puppies to 14 year old dogs. My days are flexible, I work from home and love taking walks around the neighborhood during lunch break and after work. I have a wood turtle that likes to keep to himself in the terrarium, and most dogs and cats don't even know he is there. When I am pet sitting, I plan events and out of home activities, so I am no more than 3-4 hours away from the animals. I am very attentive to dogs needs. We play inside and go on walks around the neighborhood or go to Palmer Square or Humboldt park. I stick strictly to dog owner schedule and make sure to send owner updates! I live in a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor so the dog would have to be ok mobility wise with stairs to and from the building.

About: I’ve always been really good with animals; both dogs and cats. I used to dog sit for my neighbors’ older cocker spaniel growing up, until he passed over the rainbow bridge when I was 13. This inspired me to start dog walking for the neighborhood whenever they needed it. I treat any animal with kindness, respect, and a gentle hand/voice. I couldn’t be around cats because my mom was allergic. I owned a blind senior dog for a few years until life circumstances left her with my mom, and I generally have a lot of experience with senior animals. I currently have a client that is a senior dog that’s standoffish to most people, but is fond of me. As soon as I moved out at 18, I started volunteering at PAWS Tinley Park in their cat section. I took to it like a fish to water. I volunteered there for 2 years until I moved to the city. I have a cat and I absolutely adore her. I raised her from kitten up. My availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays is limited to afternoons after 2:00 PM due to classes. Other than that my schedule is very open and flexible, though I do ride the CTA so be patient with me if I run a bit late due to a bus delay. I am someone who is very stringent about schedules. Your pet will be getting their medication on time, going on walks at a certain time, and any other time sensitive pet care needs (like meals) will be done quickly and methodically. I am also someone that likes to help your animal adjust to me being there, I know I’m a new person, so for the first few visits, I will ask you to leave me a few of their favorite items (e.g. toys, bed, etc) so I can provide them for comfort. Your pet will also be getting a lot of love, care, and affection. I know that I can help animals that get anxious when their owners leave, since I’ve done it in the past. I will also let you take the lead in how I handle caring for your animal. I am flexible!!

About: I have always grown up with multiple pets in our household. Hearing their barks or their paws on the floor always brings me such joy. I’ve cared for dogs for my family and neighbors for the past year. They trust me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away or if their work schedule conflicts with their routine, so I can do a drop-in. I am patient with shy dogs and even energetic, playful dogs. It's important to be attentive to each pet’s unique needs. About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, there was always at least a few animals in my house growing up. I am a huge animal lover! Each animal is unique and aim to accommodate and adapt to each pet's needs. I have experience working with anxious and reactive animals and recognize the importance of taking things slow with new animal friends. Currently in the job market but in the meantime I have a ton of free time and what better way to spend it than with pets. Just let me know your schedule I we can work with it! I have a pretty big space for a pet to be in. Hardwood floors that are easy to clean. I live one block away from a huge city park so I can take a pet there all the time.
