“I had not had anyone watch my puppy before and was anxious about how she’d do with it (especially as she can be quite shy sometimes). I’m happy to say that I don’t think it could not have gone better! Ruben sent pictures and updates throughout the day, and it was great to see that she was getting more and more comfortable with him and the other dogs. I look forward to booking her with Ruben again!”

“Peter was AMAZING with my puppy, Milo! I can't say enough good things about Peter and the care he provided for my pup! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a daycare — it was a second home. Milo immediately felt comfortable, and I loved how welcoming and knowledgeable Peter was during drop-off. Throughout the day, I received regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. It’s obvious that Peter genuinely loves dogs and treats each one like their own. Milo came home happy, relaxed, and tired in the best way after a full day of playing with Peter’s dog, Khalil! The space was clean, safe, and dog-friendly, and it’s clear that Peter pays close attention to each dog's personality and needs. We’ve officially found our go-to daycare! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Milo! I’m so happy to have found a daycare provider I can trust. 🐶💛”

“John provided such a great daycare for our dog Moose. Moose got to play with John’s adorable dog, go on walks and get out his energy and we got to enjoy pics from John! He was also super communicative and accommodated our rather challenging drop off schedule (it was early!) John will absolutely be my first call the next time we need daycare!”

“Excellent first experience, took very good care of our puppy. Seems loving and warm. Updated us with pictures and videos. Our little guy seemed very happy when we picked him up at the end of the day. Will definitely rebook”
“Elliott is amazing! My 7 month old puppy was a nervous/anxious mess around new situations and I’ve been so worried to bring him to just any daycare. I found Elliott and my dog Jax warmed up quickly, and ended up playing with all the other dogs in daycare! He came home and was walking around the block SO confident after just one day at daycare. The pic/video updates are also wonderful. So grateful I found Elliott, will definitely be using him from now on.”

“Laura was so great - our dog is a little nervous and can struggle to relax in new environments but did so well with Laura. She also provided multiple updates during the day that made us feel at ease with a new sitter.”

About: I try to spend as much time as possible with my fur baby, and will with yours as well! As an empathetic person, I anticipate and respond to the needs of animals at the drop of a hat. Since I was 5-years-old I have always had a pet in my life, and loved every second of it. I have done dog walking, trained my current puppy and even performed tricks at events with my first dog. My schedule allows me to be home as much as I want so I can welcome a special-guest pet here as well. I am a very active person, so it is common for me to play with pets that want to get some energy out. I also am down to chill with them on the sofa and watch a movie or read. So come on over, I live in a single family home with my sweet dog chili, we have lots of space inside and outside in the yard to hang out and play. I work part-time from home so this allows me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. I already have a nice routine taking care of my dog chili, so adding another is perfect. My dog and I usually go for a walk in the morning after breakfast. My neighborhood is fantastic for dog-walking. There is a lot of grass and options for short or longer walks. There is also a park walking-distance or a dog park that is a very short drive, if that is more the vibe. During the afternoon we will chill at the house, maybe play a bit. I have a nice water filtration system so they will have filtered water access. I have a cute yard in the back with grass that the dogs can go out in throughout the day or night. And then after dinner we will take another walk through the neighborhood or to the park. Often we can relax together in the living room and watch a movie before bed. The dogs can sleep in my room or wherever they are comfortable.
“Bobo had a great time with Carly. I loved the pictures she sent and how happy and tired he was when I picked him up! Carly was gentle, attentive and thorough with her care. She was also very responsive so arranging drop off and pickup was very easy.”

“Archie had the best time with Maria and her pup! They went to the park and he came home feeling so happy relaxed! 11/10 would recommend any pet parent to book!! Thank you!! 😊”

“Diego absolutely loved his stay! Alyssa provides such great care and kept me updated with frequent images and videos which I much appreciated! :) I can definitely tell Diego had a great time.”

About: I have had a total of 9 dogs in my lifetime. I currently have 2 with GREAT temperaments so your dogs will always have friends to play with but if you would like them to stay separated, then I can do that as well. I treat my dogs like they’re family because they are. I don’t support the abuse, neglect or mistreatment of ANY pet and especially not in my presence. I will do my best to keep your dogs safe and continue any pet training style currently in place. I know the fear of leaving your babies in the hands of another person, especially one you don’t know. My jobs is to put you at ease. Hopefully I can become a regular to you and your pet. We can all be one big happy family together. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always available to give your dogs time and attention while you’re away. My son has been raised with dogs and loves them just as much as I do. I have a fenced front yard and back yard. I can also crating if you prefer. It’s your world and I’m just living in it.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, there was always at least a few animals in my house growing up. I am an huge animal lover! Each animal is unique and aim to accommodate and adapt to each pet's needs. I have experience working with anxious and reactive animals and recognize the importance of taking things slow with new animal friends. Currently in the job market but in the meantime I have a ton of free time and what better way to spend it than with pets. Just let me know you schedule I we can work with it! I have a pretty big space for a pet to be in. Hardwood floors that are easy to clean. I live one block away from a huge city park so I can take a pet there all the time.
About: I have over 8 years in the pet industry working at various daycares, pet shops, and training facilities. I’ve also been a pet sitter for over 6 years. I love working with animals and being able to provide all the love and care thar you do when you are away. Well I commit to this full-time, so your dog will have my attention and availability all the the time so that if they ever need me then I’ll be around. Well I usually ask my clients to send instructions involving feedings, medications, and walking times. As well, during meet and greet I’ll will ask about leashes, reactivity to other animals, and how they usually care for their pet. I prefer sending photos and videos via text message because of the drop in quality sending it via rover. My goal is to give the exact same love, care, and safety that you give your pet.

About: I have had dogs all my life. Growing up a Old English Sheep dog(ralphie) a Chihuahua(Penny) When i was out on my own, I had a jack Russell terrier(Spot), in college 3 Chow Chows(Gannon) later a Great Dane and lastly a Pit Bull (Pixley). So I have had small to extra large dogs and loved them all, I am very good with them and most dogs gravitate toward me. I am very patient with them as they are what I call perpetual 2 year olds!! In conclusion I would like to say what an honor it would be for me to share some time with your dog and to put you at ease while you are gone knowing your dog is safe and with an experienced and caring sitter. i am currently running a non profit and have alot of time during most days and evenings to take care of your animals in best way i do boarding and drop ins ,housitting and walks at your place. I like this most as the dogs are in a more comfortable environment.
“Dash has stayed with Stephanie several times--she's so amazing! It's always hard when I have to leave Dash, even just for the day, but I know he's in good hands with Stephanie and is well taken care of. I can't thank her enough for all her help 🐕💕”

About: I Have been taking care of dogs with my 3 daughters ages 11, 15, and 17 for family and friends for about 2 years now. Ive decided to come on Rover to help some people out too and welcome their dogs into my house, I have a full apartment complex which will only be dedicated towards them, big and fenced yard. Tambien Hablamos Español! I can have animals at any time. I have 2 dogs already But they are on our first floor, our ROVER dogs are on the 2nd floor and have no contact with them and no risk either. Unless they’re friendly with other dogs. At least 2 people are always at home. Like I have stated, I have an empty apartment unit dedicated towards the animals, running water heater and a.c. I have a big backyard. We live in a good neighborhood. They can have fun outside. Constant potty breaks. We only require to bring your dogs bedding, required food if they have it, some toys, and any medication they take! Im home most of the time, but if im not, my daughters are! If they are alone, is when we go to church for 2 hours. 3x a week. In my house, our apartment has working ac and heater. It isnt fully furnished. So they haven plenty of space to move around. Their food is always given to them morning and night. Or however the client prefers it.
Humboldt Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ioanna watched jojo for his first time at day care and was amazing! Before the first day we had a meet and greet where she was very attentive, was flexible with rescheduling a couple of times, and answered all our questions. Ioanna kept us updated with pictures and videos throughout the day. Jojo had so much fun and was absolutely exhausted - he fell asleep as soon as we got in the car!

Sadie was great! Could tell right away that she was so excited to have a good day with my dog. I felt so comfortable leaving him with her (even though my dog and I have serious separation anxiety). She read the bio before I got there and knew what to expect of my dog and his behaviors, was keen to surroundings, and communication was great. Will definitely be a repeat client!
