“Ruben was fantastic with communication and care of our dogs. Thank you so much for caring for our babies as a part of your family and for the updates throughout the day. We will be rebooking for future use as the need arises. :)”

“Chachi had a wonderful time at day care. He got along very well with everyone even though he was a late arrival to the pack today but he got along just fine and everyone loved him. He shared a bed with a sweet little dog who was missing a leg. Chachi likes the big yard to roam around; he's older so he does not play but he still likes the opportunity to go free in the fenced in yard. Ian can well accommodate little ones, big ones and handicapped ones all together for a nice time to be had by all. Ian offers food on time and often, sets out clean full water (I know other places that do not set out water the whole day) and he accommodates each individual dog's needs.”

“Sarah and Walter took great care of my little guy. He felt really comfortable there and made himself at home. He had a good time and became Walter's shadow and his new BFF. Thanks so much guys!”

About: Please note - I can only host dogs that get along well with other dogs, as I usually watch more than one dog at a time. Hi! I'm Maggie. 👋🏼 I've been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. From my very first poodle when I was five years old to my sweet pup today, dogs have been one of the greatest sources of love, joy, and companionship in my life. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends and family have always trusted me with their pets while they're away, and I've learned that every dog is unique. Some are full of energy and eager to play, while others need a little extra patience, reassurance, or time to feel comfortable in a new environment. Helping each dog feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pups with a variety of medical and emotional needs. I'm comfortable administering both oral and injectable medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each dog's individual routine. Whether it's supporting a nervous dog through separation anxiety, encouraging a picky eater, or simply offering extra cuddles to a pup who's missing home, I believe that thoughtful, individualized care can make all the difference. To me, caring for dogs isn't just about feeding, walking, or playtime. It's about creating a space where they feel loved, secure, and truly at home until their favorite humans return. I can't wait to bond with your best friend! Caring for pups is the main thing I do currently, other than driving Uber when I'm not booked, and some house chores or studying from home. I will be at home with your pups at all times and I will have plenty of free time to play and interact with them. We have a large porch and fully fenced back-yard with a large tree where all pups love to run around and play. If the weather is nice, we are likely to spend most of the day outside, either at home or Palmer's park across the street. We allow our pups and guest pups on the couches and beds. I make sure the pups get a lot of attention and interactions, and also some needed down-time.
“Laura & Charlie took amazing care of my dog during her first daycare!! I really appreciated how they invited us into their home for the M&G so we could see the space she will be hanging out in. They were respectful & accepting of my dogs triggers / stranger danger and followed our instructions for the initial intro. They respected her boundaries and took it slow. For the actual daycare, they sent multiple photo/video updates and had excellent communication. Laura & Charlie are loving dog people with an incredible home. Highly recommend!”

“Brenda and Milo are wonderful sitters and caregivers. They take this work extremely seriously; it is not just a side-gig for them. They took the time to get to know my sensitive dog's temperament and needs, and she seemed to feel at home with them almost immediately. They have flexible hours, and my dog came home relaxed, tired, and happy.”

“David was great with our pup Chase. He's usually very shy and slow to warm up to people. However he really took to David and Pinto super quickly. David shared pictures and videos of them playing and sleeping throughout the day. I would definitely recommend him for any dogsitting needs.”

“My little fella made himself right at home upon arrival to Mark's place. He snuggled into some blankets for a nice morning nap then got up to meet his new friends and hang out with them. He was very content, comfortable and had a good time!”

About: Hi fur-parents, Pick me and lll promise you I’ll love your fur-babies like my own. I have several years experience with walking, and sitting dogs . I’ve also been educating myself on dog training and been practicing those skills on my own dog. I know trusting a stranger with your fur-baby is hard, so I’ll make sure to keep you posted with cute pictures and a quick text on how they’re doing throughout the day. I’m smart and trustworthy, and leaving your pets to my care will be an easy going experience. I guarantee you that. That way you can focus on work or enjoy your vacation without the unneeded stress of wondering how your pet is doing. There's no time to waste so let’s meet up! I’m looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently taking online classes to get my degree, so my schedule is very flexible so I can dogsit during the weekdays and weekends. I have a dog that loves to play and will keep your dog entertained and tired by the end of the day. I also have a crate that I can use if any behavior gets out of hand

About: I have been a dog parent for the last 10 years. I have experience with dogs with disabilities (my two dogs have 3 legs) and leash-reactive furbabies. As a sitter, I have taken care of all kinds of dogs but prefer a nice temperament if a dog comes to my home so he or she can get along with my own dogs. I am knowledgeable of dog training techniques and are observant of dog behaviors.
About: I do take up to 4 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities through years of pet sitting and fostering with PAWS Chicago and AntiCruelty Humane Society. I’m also currently raising and training my own German Shepherd puppy, so I have plenty of hands-on experience with puppy routines, positive-reinforcement training, leash walking, crate training, enrichment, and lots of puppy energy! I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable following each pet’s individual routine. As a healthcare professional, I’m also dependable, detail-oriented, and take safety very seriously. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I have consistent weekday availability as well as additional availability that varies depending on my work schedule. I’m happy to work with you to find a routine that fits your pet’s needs, whether that’s walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or extra companionship during the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate routines, and any house rules or training preferences. I’m attentive to changes in behavior and make sure pets receive plenty of supervision, enrichment, exercise, and affection. As a healthcare professional, I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and very comfortable following specific care and safety instructions.

I will send you super cute updated images so you can see what fun your fur baby is up to :) . I also have a fenced small backyard incase your pup wants to do some light leash free jogging with me.

“Arlene pup-sat our lovely 3 month old puppy, who came home happy and tired. I would recommend her for all ages. She is a warm, caring person and I felt that our pup was in good hands.”

“David and Jerrilyn are incredible! My puppy has never been happier— he gets friends at daycare and I got constant updates and pictures. As a first time dog owner it’s so nice having someone who can take care of my puppy and advise on any question I have on dog-care!”

“I am new to this city and have an overprotective dog who is adjusting to city life. Jamie took very good care of him and kept me informed to help reduce my anxiety. I definitely plan to leave Rocket with Jamie for more time in the future.”

“I almost wanted to gatekeep Nicky because he’s that good! He takes amazing care of my dog, Juno, and I never have to worry when he's with him. He’s reliable, caring, communicative, and it’s obvious he genuinely loves animals. Juno is always happy, relaxed, and excited to see him, which says everything. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your pet, I can’t recommend Nicky enough”

“Susan was wonderful! She was very caring with our little elder dog. Communication was great and we were happy to receive a photo of our dog having a comfortable stay with Susan. We appreciate you, Susan!”

About: I have been a house and pet sitter since High School while working at a vet’s office and all throughout college and many years after. I love a good pet therapy session to keep stress levels down for me and the animal. I have two cats of my own and know how important it is for them to get interacted with throughout the day when we aren’t around, as well as when we have our own overnight commitments to attend. I would be honored to get to spend a little time with your fur baby when needed! I am a fun loving, easy going, and pet (and treat) giving cat mom who loves both cats and dogs! I can’t wait to meet all the incredibly adorable animals possible through this opportunity. I am quite the stimulating pet parent! My cats even knows some commands and tricks. We love some treat giving, toy searching, and you playing in my house! I work for Rover fulltime, so I am always here. I have enough space, and gates to keep 3-5 dogs at a time, if the family is comfortable with other friendly dogs being in the same house with them. I walk all separately unless they are from the same family or the dogs are really good friends. We take about 5-6 walks a day around the neighborhood ranging between 20-30 minutes depending on the weather of the season, and even have a deck with a piece of “grass” where older pets can use the restroom easily or if it is raining, for a quick potty break. We have water in every room of the house, we love to give treats, have crates and gates for alone time if needed, and there is always an opportunity to sunbathe in our house or on our deck.

I’m so grateful to Laura for how well she looks after my dog and for her flexibility. I was so happy to find someone in my neighborhood who could take him, and she makes the whole process so easy. I really believe that he’s receiving the best care when he’s at daycare with her.

Melissa was absolutely wonderful with my puppy! He stayed with her for a few hours for doggy daycare, and she was so kind and kept me updated throughout his stay, which made me feel completely at ease. And she accommodated a last minute request same day she truly saved our plans after someone else canceled, so blessed to have found her. My Pup seemed genuinely so happy and comfortable with her, and when we came to pick him up, he even went back to say goodbye to her! That really said it all for me. I would definitely trust Melissa with him again and highly recommend her! 🐾❤️

She was absolutely amazing with my 10-week-old puppy! She communicated throughout the day, sent regular updates, and made me feel completely at ease. My puppy seemed so happy and comfortable with her. She is kind, trustworthy, and clearly wonderful with animals. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring!
