About: Hi there! My name is Nicky (he/they) and I’ve been taking care of pets for my neighbors, friends, and family members for upwards of a decade and am commonly regarded as the go-to sitter in my community. I strive to treat every pet (and owner) with the utmost respect and kindness, and I’ll follow your instructions to a T! (The T stands for toe beans 🤓) Currently unemployed due to layoffs in my industry, so I’ll be able to give your fur bestie as much attention as possible! I can do overnights, multiple nights in a row, or just a drop-in/walk; whatever you need - I got you! :) I have a fenced yard in front of my apartment complex so your fur bestie can run free and tire themselves out before beddybye! I can crate your pup if you provide one or they can get some shut-eye on the couch or wherever they’re comfy!
“Ian had my dog so tired. He sent a ton of photos throughout the day. He also was flexible with me as I just moved to the city and had lots of changes in plans. Thanks so much Ian and I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a sitter!!”

“Carly takes wonderful care of our puppy Betty! She is attentive, communicative and we can tell Betty is comfortable there. Her dogs are also so friendly and fun for Betty to play with! We are excited to book again.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years. I treat my puppy like a family member and will do the same for yours! Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. I will send you super cute updated images so you can see what fun your fur baby is up to :) . I also have a fenced small backyard incase your pup wants to do some light leash free jogging with me.
“Peter and his wife were wonderful! They were communicative and sent some cute pics of our little guy, which we really appreciated. This was Kumo’s first Rover stay, and they made the whole experience feel easy and reassuring—they clearly know what they’re doing. Kumo came home happy and tired, and we loved hearing that he had such a great time playing with their dog, Khalil. We’ll absolutely be booking with them again!”

“David was great with our pup Chase. He's usually very shy and slow to warm up to people. However he really took to David and Pinto super quickly. David shared pictures and videos of them playing and sleeping throughout the day. I would definitely recommend him for any dogsitting needs.”

“Our dog had a wonderful time at Megan's. She sent us photos while we we were gone which made us feel so much better. Would use Megan again when we come back to visit Savannah again.”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and currently have a 6-year-old German Shepherd. In 2024 I had to say goodbye to my beloved pitbull mix, my soul dog Neji. With experience handling dogs of all ages (from 12 weeks to 13 years), I understand canine behavior, medication administration, and how to create a safe, loving, and joyful environment. I’ll care for your fur babies as if they were my own! I work part time and manage my own schedule. I spend a lot of time with my fur baby and I am very flexible to be with yours too! I enjoy spending quality time with my dogs, playing fetch, long walks, training and spoiling them with homemade treats. I also understand the struggle of cleaning and will always have your home spotless!
About: Since childhood, I have had various pets—dogs, cats, turtles, and even chickens. While my mother wasn't fond of pets, my father always adored them; welcoming a new pet into our lives was a joy, and it was a sorrow when God called them home. Since our last pet passed away, I made a promise to myself that every animal entrusted to my care would be treated with dignity, love, and responsibility. In my home country, Guatemala—where education regarding and respect for animals remain unfamiliar concepts to many people—I was an active member of a group dedicated to helping stray dogs. Since arriving in this country, it has been a true pleasure to love and care for other people's pets. I have looked after various dogs on multiple occasions, treating them with the same love and devotion as if I were their own owner. Some require daily medication, and I am fully responsible and reliable in administering it; if your dog needs any special care—such as an extra walk, a bath, or a specific meal—I will ensure that all their needs are met. I currently work part-time caring for an elderly woman. I am available all day on Mondays; Tuesdays through Fridays after 4:00 PM; and all day on weekends. I will care for your pet in my home, which features a spacious, fenced-in yard—essential for your pet to relieve themselves. (If they require the use of potty pads, that is perfectly fine as well.) My house is just a 10-minute walk from a dog park, where we can go out to get some fresh air, take a walk, and make new friends. The interior of my home is spacious, ensuring your pet won't feel cooped up.
“I am new to this city and have an overprotective dog who is adjusting to city life. Jamie took very good care of him and kept me informed to help reduce my anxiety. I definitely plan to leave Rocket with Jamie for more time in the future.”

“Sarah and Walter were wonderful with Butters! I’m so glad Butters had a great time there since he can be quite a handful at times. Will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

About: I do take up to 3 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing, exercising and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: My schedule won’t allow me to book far in advance. So if you’re looking for a last minute dog sitter feel free to reach out to me to check my availability. I have experience working with large breeds and bully breeds as well as the little guys that sometimes just want to be carried. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and all of my love and attention. I have a goofy fun-loving 2yr old boxer, who loves to play in our backyard. He is well socialized with all types of dogs. He knows how to adjust his play level to make all dogs feel comfortable staying at our house. I freelance in the film industry and often have time off in between projects. So I would be home with your dog for their entire stay. I have a safe and secure fenced in backyard. My house is super pet friendly. They will be free to roam around the house, choose one of the many dog beds or curl up on the couch with me. I also have dog crates and gates to keep them contained if that is what they are used to.
About: I have been a house and pet sitter since High School while working at a vet’s office and all throughout college and many years after. I love a good pet therapy session to keep stress levels down for me and the animal. I have two cats of my own and know how important it is for them to get interacted with throughout the day when we aren’t around, as well as when we have our own overnight commitments to attend. I would be honored to get to spend a little time with your fur baby when needed! I am a fun loving, easy going, and pet (and treat) giving cat mom who loves both cats and dogs! I can’t wait to meet all the incredibly adorable animals possible through this opportunity. I am quite the stimulating pet parent! My cats even knows some commands and tricks. We love some treat giving, toy searching, and you playing in my house! I work for Rover fulltime, so I am always here. I have enough space, and gates to keep 3-5 dogs at a time, if the family is comfortable with other friendly dogs being in the same house with them. I walk all separately unless they are from the same family or the dogs are really good friends. We take about 5-6 walks a day around the neighborhood ranging between 20-30 minutes depending on the weather of the season, and even have a deck with a piece of “grass” where older pets can use the restroom easily or if it is raining, for a quick potty break. We have water in every room of the house, we love to give treats, have crates and gates for alone time if needed, and there is always an opportunity to sunbathe in our house or on our deck.
Irving Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sara and Jose take such great care of our 1 year old. I feel very at ease knowing our pup is in great hands and we’re so lucky to have them as a recurring pet sitter when I’m at work. They do a great job at making sure her daily schedule is met, maintain training, and give them lots of love and affection. My puppy loves spending time with their family and highly recommend!

My shy, anxious beagle had a blast at Valerie’s, didn’t want to come home! I appreciated Valerie’s patience, flexibility, and ability to be both laidback with my pup while also giving her space to indulge her zoomies. Plus, we got lots of pics throughout the day. Thanks for a wonderful stay, will use again!

We are so glad we found Caitlin! She’s been wonderful taking care of our sheepadoodle puppy Enzo. She’s been very flexible and accommodating, and her dog Maisie is a sweetheart. As a new dog mom, I’m also so appreciative of the frequent picture/video updates she sends :) She’s going to be our go-to person for Enzo care!

Peter and his wife were wonderful! We’ll absolutely be booking with them again!

Cara took great care of our young dog! He is nervous around new people and can be reactive, but he took to her instantly. She knew just how to give him space and within minutes he was trying to lick her face. I’ve never seen him so comfortable with someone other than us. She let him snuggle with her while she worked and was more than happy to take on him and all his quirks. I’m so grateful to be able to leave him and know he’s safe and comfortable.
