About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets in many different life stages and personalities. I have a 15 year old senior Chihuahua who has been through surgeries and illnesses, and through attentive care, patience, daily walks, and lots of love, she is still healthy, happy, and strong today. I also rescued an adult cat from the street who is now around 3–4 years old. Helping him adjust taught me patience, understanding, and how important it is to make animals feel safe and comfortable. In addition, I have an energetic 8-month-old kitten who keeps me active and experienced with younger pets as well. I am also a runner who’s ran the Chicago marathon, I am prepared to keep up with high energy pups! My pets are truly my family, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your animals. Under my care, your pets will be treated with the same patience, attention, love, and priority that I give my own. I am available most days of the week for walks and drop-in visits, for house sitting I am mostly available on weekends. I keep my schedule updated daily :) I will care for your pet in your home and always follow your instructions carefully to maintain their normal routine and comfort. I understand how important it is to keep things consistent for animals, so I will make sure to follow all feeding schedules, care notes, and any special directions you provide. I will also provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away, including messages, photos, and any important notes about how your pet is doing. My goal is to keep you fully informed and reassured. Most importantly, I will care for your pet in the environment where they feel safest and most comfortable, your home, so they can stay relaxed, secure, and stress-free while receiving attentive and loving care.

About: My family always had a dog growing up, so im very familiar with them. Then, after I moved out I got cats of my own, and learned how to take care of them too! Im at teacher, so im typically available nights and weekends. I'd be able to come over and provide whatever necessary services after school and on weekends I make sure I respect the pet's boundaries. I never pet a cat or dog first unless I know it's okay and they feel comfortable with it! I've watched dogs and cats at my apartment before, and we always make sure the pets feel safe

We maintain a consistent feeding, bathroom, and play schedule to ensure the pet feels secure and has structure in their day. 4. Health and Wellness: We ensure your dog is fed according to their specific dietary restrictions and preferences, including portion control and timing. Administering Medications: If necessary, we carefully follow instructions to administer any medications your dog may require. Caring for Pets in Your Home: When we're caring for pets in your home, we follow your established routine and focus on making them feel comfortable in their own environment. Here’s how we provide care in your home: 1. Respecting Your Space: We will maintain your dog's familiar routines. We make sure to stick to your dog's usual schedule, including feeding times, potty breaks, and sleep schedules. Familiarity helps reduce stress, especially for pets that may experience separation anxiety. Use of Familiar Items: Your dog will use their own bed, toys, and comfort items to make them feel secure in their own space. Familiar scents and surroundings are comforting. 2. Maintaining a Safe Environment: We will ensure that your home is safe and secure, checking for any potential hazards or areas the pet shouldn’t access. We make sure doors and gates are securely closed to prevent escapes. 3. Respecting House Rules: We will follow your instructions for the pet’s behavior in the home (e.g., whether the dog is allowed on furniture, where they’re allowed to sleep, etc.). 4. Daily Activities: Your dog will have walks and outdoor time. We ensure your dog gets daily exercise with walks and play, sticking to the routes they enjoy.
