“Elizabeth is an amazing pet sitter! She went above and beyond to take care of our two cats. Lots of cute photos and very detailed descriptions of her check-ins. We could tell our cats were very comfortable with her too! 😸 We had to extend our booking by a day as well and Elizabeth was so accommodating. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter and we’ll definitely be reaching out again next time we need a cat sitter!”

“She took great care of our cats while we were away. She followed all of our instructions carefully and made sure they were well cared for. She was also very flexible and easy to work with. We really appreciated her help and would gladly book her again.”

“Lauren picked up our request on short notice and we couldn’t be happier that she did. She’s a great communicator and sent excellent updates from her visits. Our cat is a squeaky little extrovert and we could tell he enjoyed her visits. Thanks, Lauren!”

“Desiree was great with my two cats. She fed them and gave them water but most importantly pet them and made the effort to comfort them while I was gone on a three week trip. Would recommend Desiree and will use her again!”

“Elyse took great care of my young puppy and truly helped give me a peace of mind while I was away for long hours. She is patience and thoughtful and follows care instructions well. All pictures showed my puppy having so much fun and she gave thorough updates on Rover card. I came home to a happy pup and clean environment ! Also grateful to her for checking on my puppy during a snow storm, very reliable .”

“Alexis was great as always! Friendly, clear communication, punctual, and always willing to love on our fur baby while we are away. So happy we have her to count on when things come up!”

“Tetiana was amazing with our mix of indoor, indoor/outdoor, and feral community cats we care for. None of them are friendly to strangers, but she quickly developed a rapport and perfectly managed 3 different feeding regimes for the cats. We’re thrilled with her as a sitter, and we feel we can travel more now that we know someone who will take excellent care of our feline menagerie in our absence!”

“Molly went above and beyond when taking care of our cats! We had two cats throwing up while we were away and she made sure to keep us updated, and did an extra check-in. Would definitely book her again.”

“Vanessa was great! She was responsive when I had questions and took the time to find and take pictures of each of our cats even when they were hiding. She also was gracious about a last minute change to the booking. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Chris did a great job taking care of our two cats! He was reliable, communicative and seemed to form a special bond with one of my cats (the other is antisocial but Chris did a great job respecting her boundaries as he is a cat owner himself). Would highly recommend him!”

“Isabella was incredible with my older cat! Communicative, responsive, and took great care of him while I was out of town. 5/5 would book again for future visits.”

About: My family always had a dog growing up, so im very familiar with them. Then, after I moved out I got cats of my own, and learned how to take care of them too! Im at teacher, so im typically available nights and weekends. I'd be able to come over and provide whatever necessary services after school and on weekends I make sure I respect the pet's boundaries. I never pet a cat or dog first unless I know it's okay and they feel comfortable with it! I've watched dogs and cats at my apartment before, and we always make sure the pets feel safe
“Amazing to work with. Among other things, Amanda takes fantastic pet photos. This can be a mixed blessing though, since it makes us miss our cat even more.”

About: What sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up caring for them by feeding them, walking them, playing with them, and giving them lots of love and attention. I also worked with children for 7 years, which helped me develop strong responsibility, communication skills, patience, and the ability to stay calm and caring in different situations. I understand that every dog has a different personality and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits very well into my daily routine because I’m available throughout the day and enjoy spending time with animals. I’m flexible with walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets attention and care. My schedule is open during the day until 3. Unfortunately if no response from pet owners ahead of walk etc I will not walk dog. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well attended to at all times. In a client’s home, I follow their routine closely by providing walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, attention, and any specific instructions requested by the owner. I also make sure pets get plenty of companionship and exercise while keeping their environment clean, calm, and stress free.
“Mikey did an excellent job caring for our little baby angels (known as cats to some). Prompt communication, flexibility to accommodate our schedule and a stellar rate per visit. Thanks again, Mikey! 10/10 would recommend.”

We have designated areas for play with plenty of space for them to move around and explore. 2. Exercise and Outdoor Time: You dog will have regular walks and time to play. We make sure to take your pet on regular walks to meet their exercise needs. 3. Routine and Structure: Consistency is so important. Daily Activities: Your dog will have walks and outdoor time. We ensure your dog gets daily exercise with walks and play, sticking to the routes they enjoy. Mental Stimulation: We engage pets in puzzle games, training sessions, and interactive toys to keep their minds active. 5. Health and Well-Being: We follow any dietary instructions precisely, ensuring your dog receives the correct food at the right times. If your dog needs medication, we administer it as directed. We will keep an eye out for any changes in behavior, eating habits, or health concerns. If something seems off, we'll contact your immediately and, if necessary, visit the vet. 6. Communication and Updates: We will send you regular updates (texts, pictures, videos) to keep you updated and let you know that your dog is doing well and happy. Emergency Plan: We keep emergency contact information handy in case we need to take your dog to the vet, and we follow the client’s instructions for such situations. 7. Cleaning and Care: We make sure to clean up after your dog—whether it's picking up waste during walks or cleaning pet bowls, bedding, and toys. We leave the house as tidy as we found it, ensuring the pet’s living space remains clean and comfortable. 8. End-of-Visit Routine: Before leaving your home, we will ensure that your dog has access to food, water, and a comfortable resting area, leaving them in a calm, secure state. Whether in our home or your home, our goal is to provide personalized care based on the pet’s needs, making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you are away. Open communication is key, so we can adjust care as needed and provide the best experience for your dog.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Irving Park
Katherine is super attentive and patient. One of my kitties is very picky about people, and he immediately belly flopped during Katherine’s meet and greet. She is punctual, gives lots of pets and treats, and ensures picky or nervous pets get their nourishment. I was away for a week, and my kitties loved her. Would give her 10 stars if I could!

We had a wonderful experience with Carlyle watching our three cats for two days. One of our cats is diabetic and requires insulin, and she handled her medication calmly and confidently, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Another one of our cats needs lots of attention and cuddles, and Carlyle made sure she got all the extra love she craves, so everyone was relaxed and happy when we got home. She kept in touch with regular updates and photos, so we always knew how things were going while we were away. We highly recommend Carlyle to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter who’s great with special needs cats.

We always appreciate having Beth come to check on Kai and George! She takes such good care of them, sends us lots of pictures and a detailed update on how they are doing, and clearly spends time with them giving them attention. I never worry at all leaving on vacation with Beth coming over and know the cats will be in great hands!
