About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets in many different life stages and personalities. I have a 15 year old senior Chihuahua who has been through surgeries and illnesses, and through attentive care, patience, daily walks, and lots of love, she is still healthy, happy, and strong today. I also rescued an adult cat from the street who is now around 3–4 years old. Helping him adjust taught me patience, understanding, and how important it is to make animals feel safe and comfortable. In addition, I have an energetic 8-month-old kitten who keeps me active and experienced with younger pets as well. I am also a runner who’s ran the Chicago marathon, I am prepared to keep up with high energy pups! My pets are truly my family, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your animals. Under my care, your pets will be treated with the same patience, attention, love, and priority that I give my own. I am available most days of the week for walks and drop-in visits, for house sitting I am mostly available on weekends. I keep my schedule updated daily :) I will care for your pet in your home and always follow your instructions carefully to maintain their normal routine and comfort. I understand how important it is to keep things consistent for animals, so I will make sure to follow all feeding schedules, care notes, and any special directions you provide. I will also provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away, including messages, photos, and any important notes about how your pet is doing. My goal is to keep you fully informed and reassured. Most importantly, I will care for your pet in the environment where they feel safest and most comfortable, your home, so they can stay relaxed, secure, and stress-free while receiving attentive and loving care.
“Desiree was great! From a wonderful check in with Zoey, to communication, to understanding change in plans due to weather. Will definitely book again. Thank you so much!”

“Dilrose did a great job taking care of our little orange one. Our cat has three pills that she has to take every night and Dilrose was able to get them all down over the course of a weekend. Thankful for her!”

About: My family always had a dog growing up, so im very familiar with them. Then, after I moved out I got cats of my own, and learned how to take care of them too! Im at teacher, so im typically available nights and weekends. I'd be able to come over and provide whatever necessary services after school and on weekends I make sure I respect the pet's boundaries. I never pet a cat or dog first unless I know it's okay and they feel comfortable with it! I've watched dogs and cats at my apartment before, and we always make sure the pets feel safe
“Long story short, our two cats absolutely LOVE PAIGE. We were out for almost 2 weeks, and Paige made sure our cats were cared for. Paige was very attentive to our instructions for medications and care, and was flexible on visits timings. Would absolutely book again.”

“Alexis was great as always! Friendly, clear communication, punctual, and always willing to love on our fur baby while we are away. So happy we have her to count on when things come up!”

“Anana was brilliant. She sent goofy pics of our little orange boy. There was an issue with our door and she worked with us to work through it. She communicated well and is very reliable. Thank you so much Anana!”

“Tetiana was so great, communicative, and responsive! She gave us super detailed updates with tons of pictures so we knew our kitties were well taken care of. We will definitely be working with her again!”

“Elyse was incredible. Our other sitter canceled on us last minute and she came to the rescue. She provided so many updates and pictures, cleaned up after the cats had some accidents, and provided great communication throughout. Felt so comfortable with her in our home and will be hiring her again without hesitation.”

When we care for pets in our own home, the environment is designed to be safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Here’s how we ensure your dog's well-being: 1. Safe and Pet-Friendly Space: Our home is pet-proofed. We also provide cozy beds or blankets in quiet areas for pets to rest. If the pet has specific preferences (e.g., sleeping on a couch, in a crate, or in their own space), we make sure they’re accommodated. We have designated areas for play with plenty of space for them to move around and explore. 2. Exercise and Outdoor Time: You dog will have regular walks and time to play. We make sure to take your pet on regular walks to meet their exercise needs. 3. Routine and Structure: Consistency is so important. We maintain a consistent feeding, bathroom, and play schedule to ensure the pet feels secure and has structure in their day. 4. Health and Wellness: We ensure your dog is fed according to their specific dietary restrictions and preferences, including portion control and timing. Administering Medications: If necessary, we carefully follow instructions to administer any medications your dog may require. Caring for Pets in Your Home: When we're caring for pets in your home, we follow your established routine and focus on making them feel comfortable in their own environment. Here’s how we provide care in your home: 1. Respecting Your Space: We will maintain your dog's familiar routines. We make sure to stick to your dog's usual schedule, including feeding times, potty breaks, and sleep schedules. Familiarity helps reduce stress, especially for pets that may experience separation anxiety. Use of Familiar Items: Your dog will use their own bed, toys, and comfort items to make them feel secure in their own space. Familiar scents and surroundings are comforting. 2. Maintaining a Safe Environment: We will ensure that your home is safe and secure, checking for any potential hazards or areas the pet shouldn’t access. We make sure doors and gates are securely closed to prevent escapes. 3. Respecting House Rules: We will follow your instructions for the pet’s behavior in the home (e.g., whether the dog is allowed on furniture, where they’re allowed to sleep, etc.). 4. Daily Activities: Your dog will have walks and outdoor time. We ensure your dog gets daily exercise with walks and play, sticking to the routes they enjoy. Mental Stimulation: We engage pets in puzzle games, training sessions, and interactive toys to keep their minds active. 5. Health and Well-Being: We follow any dietary instructions precisely, ensuring your dog receives the correct food at the right times. If your dog needs medication, we administer it as directed. We will keep an eye out for any changes in behavior, eating habits, or health concerns. If something seems off, we'll contact your immediately and, if necessary, visit the vet. 6. Communication and Updates: We will send you regular updates (texts, pictures, videos) to keep you updated and let you know that your dog is doing well and happy. Emergency Plan: We keep emergency contact information handy in case we need to take your dog to the vet, and we follow the client’s instructions for such situations. 7. Cleaning and Care: We make sure to clean up after your dog—whether it's picking up waste during walks or cleaning pet bowls, bedding, and toys. We leave the house as tidy as we found it, ensuring the pet’s living space remains clean and comfortable. 8. End-of-Visit Routine: Before leaving your home, we will ensure that your dog has access to food, water, and a comfortable resting area, leaving them in a calm, secure state. Whether in our home or your home, our goal is to provide personalized care based on the pet’s needs, making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you are away. Open communication is key, so we can adjust care as needed and provide the best experience for your dog.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Irving Park
Violet was an exceptional pet sitter with our two cats. She was very communicative and also very sweet and gentle with the kitties. One of our cats has to have oral meds given to her each morning and night, and Violet went above and beyond to make sure that she received the medication that she needed—even with our wiggly, energetic cat. By the end of the visit, it was clear from the photos that our cats trusted Violet and looked forward to seeing her. She was always on time and took care whatever we needed. Really happy we found Violet for our babies.

Second time with Ryan taking care of my dog bear and he was wonderful. So conscientious, thoughtful and dedicated to doing the best by our pup. I also appreciate how communicative he was, keeping me updated and sharing suggestions regarding bear’s care. Look forward to working with Ryan again.
Desiree is a great dog sitter/walker. My dog is nervous around strangers and is reactive. Desiree met us for a meet and greet and I could immediately tell she is a confident and reliable dog walker. My dog is slowly but surely warming up. Will be booking her again soon!

Kaitlyn was absolutely incredible! She went above and beyond caring for my cat, Spooky, during the two days I was away, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She sent me around 10 photos during each visit, which was such a thoughtful touch and gave me so much peace of mind. It was wonderful getting to see Spooky looking happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. It's obvious that Kaitlyn genuinely loves animals and treats them like they're her own. She didn't just take care of the essentials. She spent quality time with Spooky, gave him plenty of attention and affection, and kept me updated every step of the way. I feel 100% confident I’ll be coming home to a happy, content cat, and I could tell he had been in the best hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Kaitlyn to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and exceptional pet sitter. She exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be booking ONLY with her again!
