About: My passion for animals began when I volunteered at PAWS, where I cared for shelter dogs and cats. That experience made me fall in love with pet care and inspired me to continue working with animals. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for many of my neighbors’ dogs and cats, providing them with loving, dependable care while their families are away. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me flexibility for drop-in visits and dog walks during the mornings and afternoons. I’m also available for house sitting on weekends. About: Hi! I’m Emily — a dependable and caring animal lover based in Chicago. I’ve had medium to large dogs my whole life, so I’m very comfortable handling different energy levels, personalities, and needs. I also volunteer at PAWS Chicago, where I spend time caring for and working with dogs of different temperaments. This has given me experience reading dog behavior and helping them feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I currently don’t have a dog of my own at home, which allows me to give my full attention to the pets I’m caring for and be flexible with scheduling. My family dog Bella likes to come for a visit here and there for a few days in a row. She will not be with on our walks or home visits. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m happy to adjust to your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality. I work in education so during the school year Monday-Friday I am free after about 4pm. I open on the weekends. During June-August I have a free schedule I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment whether I’m in your home or out on walks. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walking, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced with medium to large dogs and comfortable handling different energy levels and personalities. I prioritize safety on walks by using secure leashing and staying aware of surroundings, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also very communicative and will send regular updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away.

About: I have specific experience with big dogs from years of housesitting-no dog is too big to me! I also have a soft spot for elderly dogs. I am still developing training skills so I prefer dogs that are leash-trained, but I am used to some strong pulling and excited walkers. I can walk up to 11 miles, and am happy to gets your pup's steps in to tire them out for you! I love routines and am happy to create a schedule that works best for everyone. I do work a full-time job, so I only have specific hours I can sit/walk. I do work consistent hours, so I am more suited for a regular schedule to help support you during your work or school hours. I am otherwise flexible and do not mind plans being changed the day of, just please clear the time with me prior to scheduling! I cannot keep pets in my home due to lease restrictions. I am happy to sit and feed pets at your home, or just keep them company. I don't mind watering a few plants here or there either!

About: I've had cats for many years, and I love taking care of them, playing with them and simply spending time with them. I have a good approach to the shyer cats. I also understand the habits and needs of dogs, and I enjoy going on walkies with them. Whatever task it is, I will handle it with love and responsibility. I am very flexible. If your plan changes, just lmk, I'd be happy to adjust to your convenience. I look forward to filling my time outside of going to community college by taking care of your pet! I don't have a job right now, and I have plenty of free time besides going to community college, so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. The place I'm living in right now doesn't have space for pets, but I can come over and take care of and feed them.

As a teacher, my schedule is generally free during the summer. Anytime between 8am and 5pm is ideal, yet I can make exceptions if needs arise Rest assured your pets will be given the utmost care and love. I worked in a dog hotel and a dog kennel which both took cats and dogs So I know how to interact with both, How to introduce myself to them, giving shots and medication if needed. I also know some basic training techniques. Im very good at reading animals and just tend to have a natural bond with them. Im very comfortable with all size dogs.
