About: I've had pets since I was 9. From 9 till now I've had cats, dogs, fishes, and guinea pigs. I have experience with dealing with pets that may have previously trauma issues also with pets that may need careful care like medince or special needs. Even pets that don't need extra care just pets that wants to have long walks or need a lot of play time . I am currently in school. So I will be working part time for Rover. Evening and nights works best for the weekdays and for the weekends I am open for anytime you need. For cats do have multiple cat bags if they need to brought to a appointment or any where else. And foot dogs if you don't have a leach I can get one but I would prefer for you to have leeches and rates of pets need to be taken out of the house .
About: Hi, I’m Sheccid 👋🏼 As a proud dog mom to my Chi-Beagle, Lily, I know that every pup has a unique personality. Dogs have always been a central part of my life, and l've become great at reading their cues and adapting to their specific needs. I currently live in a relaxed home with my husband and Lily. I work from home, so I'll give your pup plenty of focused attention throughout the day. I'm also lucky to have a fenced-in yard, providing a safe and private space for your dog to play and stretch their legs. I can adapt to all types of temperaments- whether your dog is shy and needs a patient hand or is bold and high-energy. If they enjoy making new friends, Lily is available to join us on our walks for some extra socialization. I am dedicated to building a bond of trust with every dog I meet (and their owner) and look forward to caring for your furry friend! I work part-time from home, so Lily and I will have plenty of time to go on walks, play, and keep your pet company while you’re gone. Although Lily is friendly I never leave them unsupervised or alone for too long. I’m flexible with their needs and can crate or give them their own space if they’re nervous.
“Nikki was so wonderful and helpful! I had an issue with my keys and she was so flexible and understanding. She went above and beyond helping me and making sure my dog was cared for while I was gone! She is the best!”

“Chelsea was a fantastic rover for our dog! She was extremely responsive, punctual, and helped us several times on short notice! She also clearly cared for our dog and was super kind. Would recommend her to anyone!”

“Daphnay was amazing! She was always on time for twice daily check-ins. She played with Bleu as well as took him on runs. She is really reliable and very trustworthy. Can’t wait to book her again.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a child. I’ve loved animals since I can remember and I am very passionate about their wellbeing. I have experience with a variety of breeds and with senior care. I have not had a a dog in my home since my 17 year old chihuahua, Taco Bell, passed away last year. He was my heart and with not having a furry friend at home any longer any chance I’ve gotten to interact with any pup since has filled me with so much joy. Pets are family and I will care for yours as if they were my own. I’m just getting started on Rover and my schedule is very flexible. I can work my day around your pet and their needs. If you choose me as a repeat sitter I will gladly adapt to your pets schedule. I care for others pets as if they were my own. I’m currently unable to host pets in my own home but I will gladly take care of your baby in the comfort of their own home. Being in a familiar environment will help your pet feel more at ease and comfortable. I will be mindful and respectful of your space while I am there. I will follow whatever routines you have in place for your pet to ensure their peace and happiness.
“Joselin was so kind and responsive. He took care of my sweet baby cat for two days very well. She is so communicative! She sent a lot of photos and videos of my cat. Highly recommended.”

About: Hi! I’m Emily — a dependable and caring animal lover based in Chicago. I’ve had medium to large dogs my whole life, so I’m very comfortable handling different energy levels, personalities, and needs. I also volunteer at PAWS Chicago, where I spend time caring for and working with dogs of different temperaments. This has given me experience reading dog behavior and helping them feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I currently don’t have a dog of my own at home, which allows me to give my full attention to the pets I’m caring for and be flexible with scheduling. My family dog Bella likes to come for a visit here and there for a few days in a row. She will not be with on our walks or home visits. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m happy to adjust to your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, or just some company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very responsive, detail-oriented, and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to make the experience stress-free for both you and your dog. Feel free to reach out with any questions — I’d love to meet you and your pup! I work in education so during the school year Monday-Friday I am free after about 4pm. I open on the weekends. During June-August I have a free schedule I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment whether I’m in your home or out on walks. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walking, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced with medium to large dogs and comfortable handling different energy levels and personalities. I prioritize safety on walks by using secure leashing and staying aware of surroundings, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also very communicative and will send regular updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away.
“levi you were so amazing!! we looked forward to your updates every day - thank you for taking such great care of cal and santi!! we hate to leave them but it was such a comfort knowing you were around”

About: I haven't formally cared for animals, but I've fostered for a pit bull rescue in the past. I can also care for chinchillas because my partner has two that I care for when she is away. I'm a teacher about to be on summer break and will have a flexible schedule to work with you and your needs. I'm a teacher with CPS, and I'm about to go on break, but I maintain a consistent routine during summer because I typically always work. I wake up early every morning and can accommodate your schedule! We just bought a house with a fenced-in yard. We don't have kids, so our home can be a calm environment should your pet have anxiety needs or doesn't thrive around children. Our only pets right now are two chinchillas that have their own closed-off area. You can rest assured knowing your beloved pets are cared for during any vacation need you have!

“Wendy took such great care of my cats! She gave detailed updates of each visit and took a lot of cute pictures. It's comforting knowing they were well taken care of while I was away!”

“Mariam was great with checking on our cat, Tom, while we were away for the long weekend! Mariam kept us updated with how he was doing and was overall very responsive and excellent to work with! Thank you!”

“It was my first time using rover and I was looking for someone who truly understands dogs, and its Tamara! Tamara was a true blessing while I was away in Mexico. My dog isn’t usually quick to trust—he even tried to bite her when they first met—but she was so patient and kind with him. By the end of the week, he was waiting at the door for her, tail wagging, 30 minutes early. I could tell he really bonded with her. I’m so grateful and would absolutely have her watch him again.”

About: My family has two dogs and I was frequently put in charge of taking care of them when my parents were out of town. One of our dogs is blind at this point and has ear troubles and a bunch of other problems but he is so sweet that he’s still by far my favorite (he’s the big white floofy one if you look at my photos). But my parents live in Cleveland so now I miss my little doggo friends. As such, any new dog I sit will be showered with playtime and affection :) I currently work full time however I work from home. So, my schedule can be pretty flexible especially for mid day walks and things like that but generally after work (past 5 pm) would be ideal. There are no other pets in the house I live in but there is a nice yard to play in if I attach a leash to the porch. The house itself is also very spacious with plenty of room for a crate if need be. I can would be very flexible and respectful when using someone else’s home.
“Sarah is professional, caring, and communicative and gave regular updates which I really appreciated. My cat was totally relaxed when I got home. Sarah is my new go to cat sitter!”

About: I’ve take care of my friend’s dog while she’s away for traveling. My responsibilities included ensuring frequent and timely potty breaks and managing his high energy levels through structured play and walks. I strictly adhered to his feeding routine and followed all specific care instructions provided by my friend. This experience reinforced my ability to be responsible, attentive, and consistent, confirming my passion for providing reliable care for dogs. I am confident in my skills to adapt to any dog’s individual needs and maintain their comfort and routine while their owners are away. I‘m available before 9 AM in the morning and after 6 PM in the afternoon during weekdays. I’m available during weekends. I’m usually available during holidays because I’m more of a homebody and not traveling very often. I will record and memorize every specific detail and note of caution provided by the client. I treat all these key pieces of information as the main care guideline.
“Jasmine was amazing, especially on short notice. Thorough, communicative, and proactive. My favorite is when she left the light on because she knew it would be dark soon and wanted to provide some comfort. It was everyone you’d want in someone caring for your pup. Will definitely use her again.”

New City pet parents share their Rover experiences
Calvin was an amazing pet sitter and we will absolutely book with them again. He was very responsive, asked specific questions about our pets that showed his experience, and was incredibly easy to work with. It was clear that Calvin took the time to get to know our two cats and their personalities. His summaries and the pictures made us feel so much better about leaving for several days in a row. I highly recommend Monica and Calvin to anyone who wants a worry free vacation away from their fur children.

Molly has taken excellent care of our 3 kitties while we were out of town twice so far. She is very attentive and trustworthy. She plays with them, makes sure they are well fed, scoops the litter and sends lots of pics so we can see how happy they are. We highly recommend Molly!
