About: Hi! I’m Emily — a dependable and caring animal lover based in Chicago. I’ve had medium to large dogs my whole life, so I’m very comfortable handling different energy levels, personalities, and needs. I also volunteer at PAWS Chicago, where I spend time caring for and working with dogs of different temperaments. This has given me experience reading dog behavior and helping them feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I currently don’t have a dog of my own at home, which allows me to give my full attention to the pets I’m caring for and be flexible with scheduling. My family dog Bella likes to come for a visit here and there for a few days in a row. She will not be with on our walks or home visits. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m happy to adjust to your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, or just some company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very responsive, detail-oriented, and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I work in education so during the school year Monday-Friday I am free after about 4pm. I open on the weekends. During June-August I have a free schedule I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment whether I’m in your home or out on walks. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walking, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced with medium to large dogs and comfortable handling different energy levels and personalities. I prioritize safety on walks by using secure leashing and staying aware of surroundings, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also very communicative and will send regular updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away.

About: As a big sister and true animal lover, I have delighted in taking responsibility and caring for the children and fur-babies of family, friends, and neighbors for most of my life. My experience with dogs and cats is extensive, including: extended periods of 24/7 care for varying ages, sizes, and needs; following veterinary instructions for administering medications; and providing proper everyday care such as bathing, feeding, walking, and basic grooming, and of course plenty of play-time and snuggles! For walks and check-ins I am flexibly available on Saturdays and Sundays, and during the week I am available Tuesdays 3pm - 6pm, Wednesdays 8am - 11am, and Fridays 1pm - 6pm. I am also able to provide overnight/multiday care at my home for cat-friendly pets. My apartment is a spacious 3 bed/2 bath (I have 3 couches to choose from for naptime and snuggles!), with plenty of parks, trails and green spaces nearby to walk and play. I have a sweet kitty at home who loves to play with other cats, and dogs too! Some things to keep in mind when deciding if my home is right for your fur-baby's stay: I live on the 2nd floor and my building does not have an elevator; if your pet uses a crate you will need to provide this for their stay; I have a cat and so will only be able to welcome cat-friendly pets to my home.

About: Dogs were the first things I ever knew. I have grown up around animals my whole life and dogs have always been apart of my world. Currently I have 3 dogs back at my home. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, big breeds, and small breeds. I used to work at a doggy day care and have skills in dog training. I will do whatever it takes to make your pet feel like they being taken care with as much love as you give them when you are home. It is my personal duty to respect their boundaries and do my best work to provide you comfort while you are away too. Your pet will be treated as one of my own. At the moment I am out for summer and free to work! I will start my second to last semester of undergrad in September! At home I take care and love my pets everyday so being so far away from Colorado takes that part of my day away. I love to get comfortable and spend time with your pets. I will treat yours as if they were my own and make sure your furry friends are safe while you are away.

Weekly: bathe, clean their area, check health, and train. Keep them happy and healthy, always! 🐾 Making sure I have all the instructions and information and emergency contact information for every stay also I can easily crate your dog if needed.
