“Libby gave us the confidence to leave our two cats for two weeks. She was extra meticulous with our feeding instructions, which were quite complicated. There was a time when she opened a packet of supplement and realized the smell and color didn't look right, and informed us without putting it in the food. She also took care to separate a new batch of frozen food from the old batch in the freezer, so our cats would finish the old batch first. Just a lot of attention to detail and excellent communication. Our cats fell in love with Libby over time. One would even sit in her lap and beg to be hugged every time she visited. When I came back I saw the cats are happy and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Libby to anyone looking for a cat sitter.”

About: I am from Los Angeles California, so I am very comfortable walking in the city and ensuring safety from cars and for the reactive puppies. I have been taking care of dogs other than my own for about 3 years now. I taught my own to sit, lay down, give me paw, spin, as well as going into his crate went commanded. I know how to give puppies the Heimlich due to him always getting into things when he was younger haha. I am also a volunteer at PAWSChicago, so I am trained to walk and feed puppies and older puppies! I can handle dogs both big and small with care and love! *Rates can be negotiated to fit what you need!! I am currently in school at Depaul University, which only takes about 4 hours of my day Tuesday- Thursday! Let me know what date you need and I will make available! I prefer smaller dogs since I’m on the petite side myself, and working from home means I can give your pup lots of attention and flexibility with your schedule. It was comforting to know Luna was taking such good care of our cats and making their time with her fun, loving, and reassuring. Her daily reports were so entertaining and they reflected the true nature of our cats. She had to give one of our cats a daily pill. Sometimes this can be challenging. Luna quickly discovered the best method and approached the process with compassion for my cat’s fear. I will definitely call upon her every time I go out of town.
Melanie was very thorough and took care of Gert and gave her her meds. It was unfortunate that the vet gave us new food for Gert's tummy issues the literal night before Melanie came, and then the moment we left for our trip, Gert ate the whole four days of food by gettibg on top of the fridge for the first time somehow. I know that was confusing and frustrating for her, but we this was not something we could control. Gert has never, ever acted that way before, and we had to deal with in real time when she couldn't find the food. It was stressful. I was dealing with some tough family issues in real time, and i know having a slight change was stressful for Melanie, but we didn't envision Gert eating her food. Thanks again for caring for Gert
Jennifer is always great with our 12-year-old cat Neko. He is very loving but can be a stubborn or picky old man. She takes time to make sure that he has attention, his box is clean, that he has eaten his dinner, and then gets treats/wand toy as a bonus. This time she also took care of our new cat Clara, who can be very shy. Jen was patient with Clara, checked on her under the bed, and made sure she got some extra love and Churu treats. Per usual, she went above and beyond, providing frequent updates, cleaning, taking the garbage out, and making sure both cats were happy and well cared for. Always feel comfortable knowing they are in good hands!
Lauren was amazing with Nala and so communicative with me and my boyfriend. We had to coordinate a few last minute schedule changes and Lauren was always understanding! She is kind and considerate. It literally does not get any better. Book her for a walk or boarding, you will NOT REGRET IT! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Kelly is honestly the best Rover sitter. Part of me does not even want to leave a review because I want to gatekeep her, but she deserves it! She is thorough, reliable, prompt, and so communicative. What stands out most is that she genuinely spends time with my cats and gets them engaged with toys they would normally ignore with me. It is clear she pays attention to their personalities and makes sure they are comfortable, cared for, and having fun. I leave knowing they are in the absolute best hands, which is such a relief. I would recommend Kelly to anyone who wants someone who will truly care for their pets, not just stop by and check a box.
Autumn was amazing! She took such great care of Maude and Cap’m while we were away and sent us tons of photos and updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly attentive and proactive, and it was clear from all the photos and updates that both cats were really comfortable with her and loved all the attention she gave them. We felt so much better knowing they were in such good hands while we were away. We would absolutely book with Autumn again and highly recommend her! 😊
