About: Friends and family have asked me to take care of their pups for many years. They always have peace of mind that I will provide loving care that is intentional and not just another chore on the check list! I work full time in mental health, but I love spending time with pets so much that I want to add this into my routine! I have Sundays and Mondays available, and am also available for early morning care other days of the week as I do not begin my work days until 10am. I have 2 cats (orange tabbies that are brother and sister!), and would love a dog one day. My fur babies are a bit shy, so I cannot provide care at my home, but I am happy to provide care through walks! I always let dog(s) get to know me first by taking my time greeting them, winning them over with treats and pets, and getting to know their personalities before taking them out.

About: I grew up in a large family and everyone had multiple pets. I have trained several of my own dogs. I recently lost my dogs. Let me spoil yours! I have always had rescues. I currently am working from home. So I am available all day, any day, as well as nights. I would love to spoil your pups! I am in Avondale right by 90/94 and the blue line (belmont/addison stops). I have a large pet friendly house with a fenced in yard (5 ft shy of a double lot). Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds. I have multiple floors if dogs need to be kept separate. Drop off is super easy. There is a fire hydrant directly in front of my house and parking behind my garage as well. Since I accept multiple dogs I only accept over 1 year, fixed and friendlies.

About: I currently have two cats whom I love and devote lots of my time to! I have also grown up with several dogs and small pets that have given me the experience of performing a variety of different tasks and responsibilities. I am a researcher at Lincoln Park Zoo and am switching to part-time work for the fall, so I have a great amount of flexibility in my schedule. For drop-in visits, I am capable of doing whatever is needed (crating, feeding, playing, etc.). I have experience walking difficult dogs who would rather walk me instead, so I am confident I can manage that, as well as putting on a harness/leash. :-)

About: I grew up on dogs, cats, and Steve Irwin! I love animals! I tend to use a "whisperer's" approach to new animals. I let them decide when they are comfortable enough to approach me for pets. I work as a flight attendant, so my schedule can be pretty hectic, but when I am available, I will open up my Rover schedule to sitting and drop ins. Crating is no problem if that is how you train your pet. I'm very conscientious towards your pet's comfort level. I will make sure they see me as a friend rather than an intruder.

About: Hello! Growing up I’ve always had furry friends around the house. Since moving to Chicago I have really missed their presence! I always enjoyed walking and playing with our family dog and our neighbor's cat in my childhood. I remember taking the extra effort to hang out with our dog throughout each day and care for him accordingly. My neighbor had a cat that would come into our front yard when I was kid and I would walk it back to it's home across the way. This is just an example of the inherent love and connection I feel for animal safety and care! Pets are truly extraordinary creatures and deserve nothing less than love! My hopes are to help out the pets and their owners in the community. I hope you will consider me for hanging out with your furry friends!

About: Every dog is unique and I’ll make sure your dog gets the best walks tailored for its needs. Got an active dog? I’ll make sure she gets long walks and hits up all the sniff spots! Have a brand new puppy full of (too much) energy? I’ll take him to a park and let him play, and bring you back a sleepy puppy that won’t tear apart your couch. Got an older pup who moves a little slower? I’m happy to move at any pace(or lack thereof) your doggo needs. I’m an all around dog lover who unfortunately can’t have one of my own right now, so give me a chance and I’ll make playtime with your pup nothing but fun and personal care! I’m a student, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I can do most mornings and evenings, and am frequently available for mid day walkies and check-ins Every animal has their own unique preferences and needs. I’ve been around cats and dogs long enough to understand that what’s best for one might not be good for another, and I respect each animal’s preferences. That being said, I love a cuddly critter and will dote on your fur child if that’s what they like

About: Our family of 5 loves dogs of all kinds and have helped with neighbors’ and friends’ dogs and cats in the past. We have 3 kids who would love to help give some extra love to your furry friend. We can play, walk, exercise and feed them. They can stay with us on weekends! We are home full time until August 14th and would love to care for your dog! After August 14th we can have dogs stay overnight on weekends. We have a fenced in yard and live close to a dog park. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly with lots of families walking dogs all the time.

About: Hi! I’m Emily, a lifelong animal lover based in the Avondale area. I have previous professional experience dog walking and housesitting, and I absolutely love spending time with pets of all personalities and energy levels. I have flexible availability all week with the exception of Friday mornings 9-2pm. Available on holidays and weekends for drop-in visits, dog, walking, and housesitting. I stick to their usual routine, make sure they feel safe and relaxed, and keep a close eye on doors and leashes. I'll give them lots of attention and send little updates so you always know they’re happy and being cared for.
