About: My family always had a dog since I was born, so I was raised with them being just as close as our human family members! I wanted to be a veterinarian for a long time and have actually delivered and raised 3 litters of puppies! I have my own dog now, from one of the litters, who I’ve raised since the day she was born. I was truly made to love and care for dogs, and I can’t wait to meet yours! Im currently between jobs, so I have tons of free time to fill with puppy playtime! I look forward to walks, playdates, and even the dog park if the pet parent allows! I’m used to entertaining a dog inside and outside the house, so whatever property you have I can get your dog’s energy out and give them extra love while you’re away :)

About: - I have raised three guide dog puppies (lab/golden retrievers) from ages 8 weeks to 14 months as a volunteer puppy raiser with Leader Dogs for the Blind - As part of my puppy raising experience, I have extensive training in positive reinforcement training, both for basic obedience skills and for behavior correction - Between raising puppies over the past five years, I have fostered multiple dogs and 5+ litters of kittens through PAWS. - I grew up with cats and have experience administering pills and liquid medication to kittens and adult cats, as well as insulin to adult cats. I was recently laid off from my tech company job, so I currently have all day most days to spend with your furry friends, in between at-home job hunting. For all animals and services: ————————————- I have a car, so can easily transport a pet to/from a vet in the event of injury or illness. My car has a wire crate in it to ensure safe travel. I keep a first aid kit in my home and car as well. I also store any plants that are toxic to pets safely out of their reach. Dogs: ——- For boarding in my home, I have a small but totally enclosed fenced-in front yard. My landlord lives in the same building and is currently fostering a senior dog, but there is a separate gate to her yard, in case your dog doesn’t get along with others. I have many supplies from my time raising and training puppies, including a 36in dog crate that I can use if your dog is crate-trained. I also have a number of Nylabone and Benebone toys, as well as several puzzle feeder toys and slow feeders. I will not take dogs to dog parks while under my care because of the elevated risk of injury from unfamiliar dogs. I’m happy to set up a play date with dogs your pup is already friendly with! I can administer pills, oral liquid, and/or topical medications to dogs. Cats: ——- For boarding in my home (which I’d only recommend for kittens, or adult cats you know are comfortable being away from home/have been in the past), I have a litter box and clumping cat litter (if you have a specific brand preference, you can provide). I can administer pills, oral liquids, and topical medications, as well as insulin for diabetic cats.

“Lindsay is great with my cat Oliver! This was a long trip for us (10 days) and she was there each day to feed him (2x/day). She even stayed over night 2 days because he is such a cuddler and requires a lot of playtime. She shared pictures and gives us good updates along the way. Just what you need when you are away missing your cat. We come back home and Oliver was as happy as can be because Lindsay too great care of him. Can’t wait for Lindsay’s next visit with Ollie!”
