“Coleen was so nice! She even came back to take care of my baby 30 minutes after our original time when I’d forgotten to text her the updated code. I would have tipped her more if Rover didn’t have a 30% rule!”

“Sarma always leaves such good reports on how my girls did and they love her! I feel good knowing that while I'm at work, they're in good hands. She takes great care of them and is super flexible with schedules and needs!”

“Alexis was great as always! Friendly, clear communication, punctual, and always willing to love on our fur baby while we are away. So happy we have her to count on when things come up!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life until 2020. I had a chihuahua and German shepherd so I used to big personalities! I enjoy spending time with each pet and making sure they’re happy. I’m currently a college student on summer break so I have plenty of time to watch your pet!! I do have a part time job but I’m still flexible! I clean up after the pet every time inside and outside. I enjoy spending time with each pet and making sure they have burnt enough energy.
“This is our second time having Amanda care for our cats Puma and Lynx. She’s so reliable, kind, careful, prompt and professional. I always feel sad when I’m away from my kitties on a trip but knowing that they’ll be in Amanda’s care puts my worries at ease. Also my cats are shy but she manages to have them sneak by for a photo and maybe some pets”

“Christopher is a great sitter. He communicates wonderfully, is very responsive and, best of all, he cares deeply about providing great service. I highly recommend you book Christopher if you can.”

“We were out of the country for 3 weeks and had friends staying/checking in on our cats throughout that time. Only issue was no availability from them on Xmas day. That’s when we gave Rover a chance. Couldn’t be more satisfied with Finn! Finn was in consistent communication with us leading up to Christmas Day and gave up pic updates during the visits. We had some nervousness with using Rover for the first time, but Finn eased us in.”

“Camille did drop-in visits for my cat. She was excellent. I appreciated that she kept his litterbox clean and sent several photos daily. I highly recommend Camille and will use her again.”

About: Hi, I’m Breanna. I’m a licensed therapist in Chicago building my caseload, and pet care is my favorite way to spend the time in between. I’m also saving up so my partner and I can adopt a hypoallergenic cat of our own. I have three beagles at home with my parents and have walked and sat for friends’ pets over the years. My partner jokes that I’m a modern day Snow White, which I think is fair. Animals just find me. The therapist thing is relevant here. I’m calm, warm, and I have training to pay attention to minutiae details. Your pet’s routine matters to me, and you’ll hear from me while you’re away. My schedule is flexible right now as I build my caseload, which means I often have availability during the day and on weekends. That said, my hours do shift as my caseload grows, so I’ll always be upfront with you about my availability before we book anything. I will come to you. Whether that’s a drop-in visit, a full day of pet sitting, or a walk, I show up to where they and you are comfortable.

About: I unfortunately wasn’t allowed to have pets until I was older. I adopted my first pet (a cat) at 19 and she’s still with me! With the addition of 5 other cats as well since my family moved in with me😭. Although 2 of those cats are technically not mine, but one of family members, I still care for them all the same. I have also fostered kittens before and helped potty train them as well as bottle fed them. I have some experience giving medication to my cats for a short time; no long term medications as of now. —————————————————— I have pet sit for my friends whom are mostly fellow cat owners. For them, they usually just ask me to drop by during the day or evening to feed and change their litter and spend some time around them. I’ve taken care of my friends dog who doesn’t go on walks, so I would let her out in my friends yard to use the bathroom and then she’d come right back in to lay on the couch. I have several family members that are dog owners and I’ve been around them playing with them and occasionally went on walks with them or helped feeding them. But I’ve never officially taken care of them with out the owners being there. ——————————————— Although I am more of a cat person, I do get along with dogs! With cats I have 6 or so years of experience and with dogs I have about 2 years of experience. When visiting your home, I will take care of your home and leave things as they were!! If there any instructions you would like for me to follow, I will gladly read them, whether that’s for the fur babies or the house itself! I’m currently working part time so my schedule is pretty flexible and since my family currently lives with me they help take care of my own cats if I leave town. I typically work Wednesday and Friday afternoons and I’m free after 5:30pm, I do work weekends but I’m normally available after 4:00 pm and can stay overnight if needed. I’m normally off Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can come by more during those days, but any day during the week I can fit in dropping by, specially in the afternoons! Since I currently live with family and 6 cats I understand most other pets might not immediately get along with 6 new animals, so I can always drop by or stay at your place to take care of your fur babies!
About: Hi! I’m Sasha — a passionate animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve worked in doggy daycares as a handler, bather, and walker, and I’m Pet CPR & First Aid Certified so your pup’s safety and comfort always come first. I work from home as a designer, which means your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I also have a fenced yard and a cozy, dog-friendly home filled with beds, toys, and space to relax. I have a small dog named Nacho who is my sidekick and keeps me on a consistent routine with regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and play sessions throughout the day. Dogs staying with me are treated like family — they’ll have access to water, comfy spaces to rest, toys, and lots of love. I’m happy to accommodate cuddle bugs too — if your pup enjoys sleeping near people, they’ll fit right in here. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where your dog feels comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 I have 1 small dog that is by my side 24/7 during the week. Caring for your pet will fit into my routine nicely. I work as a designer and always home during the week. I usually let my boy Nacho out to play in the morning at 7am, 8am, 11am, 2pm, and 4pm, 6pm and 9:15pm. I usually keep the dogs with me in my area while I work. They have access water, food, beds and toys. I have a bunch of doggy beds and toys 🧸 all around the house. I also don’t mind the dogs sleeping in bed with me. I love to snuggle with the fur babies.
“Joshua was excellent to work with! He sent picture updates every day and even brought his own laser pointer to play with the cats. We were so glad to leave Skamp and Oats in such good care. He also came and did a pre-visit with us to meet the kittens first. I am a bit of a helicopter first time cat mom and Joshua far exceeded my expectations and followed our somewhat over the top instructions with ease! Re: new automated litter box. :)”
About: Growing up with a larger family I have always been used to a much hectic environment. I’ve been around much vocal and less vocal pets and it’s always awesome to see what personality you will get with your fur baby! I would love to be able to play and most importantly keep your pets safe. I dedicate about all of my time to making sure all pets are well taken care of. I also love going to my nearest shelter and love to take out the pups out on walks and love to keep up with my shelters announcements. Whether they need fosters or donations I’m always happy to help any pet in need! I would love to take care of your fur baby at anytime needed as I have open availability currently and would be free for you and your pet! Growing up I have always made sure to do thorough research on what any pet must not eat or play with as I have always made sure to take the best care of any animal that comes into my home. I’ve had my home cat proof, dog proof, chicken proof, and even bird proof to ensure that no lovely pet ever gets hurt as I want nothing more than to have everyone of them live their best life!
“Faye was great! She stopped by to meet my shy cats ahead of time and they came right up to her for pets. She gave one of them transdermal medication each visit without any issue. I will definitely reach out to her again next time I travel.”

“Crystal was amazing with our 2 cats, especially my shy little guy. They absolutely loved her as she made sure they were fed, played with, and given attention. Crystal was awesome with communication, asking questions, leaving notes, etc. She left treats and pictures of our sweet boys. We felt so much better leaving them under her care!”

About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes throughout my life and have helped care for pets belonging to friends and family, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship while owners were away. I’m comfortable around both small and large dogs and understand the importance of patience and consistency when caring for animals. While I especially specialize in cat care, I’m happy to provide attentive, reliable visits for well-behaved dogs and always focus on making pets feel comfortable and safe in their home environment. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent and reliable care throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, including weekends. My open availability allows me to accommodate cats who need routine check-ins and attentive care. I live in a house with a separate basement living space that functions like a private apartment area. This allows pets to have a quiet, comfortable environment during their stay. There are two small dogs in the home who stay upstairs, and pets can be kept completely separate if needed. I always prioritize each animal’s comfort level and can easily accommodate pets who prefer a calm, pet-free space. We also have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor access when appropriate and supervised.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Belmont Cragin
Maya is the best. She always does an amazing job taking care of our two cats - both in their basic needs (food, water, litter) and building a great rapport with them. Her daily updates paired with fun photos are a highlight for us, and it's apparent our cats look forward to visits with her.

Liz was amazing with out 3 cats while we were out of the country! She communicated anything that came up and her experience with sitting and caring for a variety of animals gave us a sense of relief when we were far away. She made sure each cat got some attention, food, play time, and helped keep their space clean and tidy.

We absolutely love our dog walker, Emma she is incredibly dependable, trustworthy, and clearly have a genuine passion for dogs. Emma always communicates clearly and sends the best photos/visit summaries during their walks, which brings us so much peace of mind while we are at work. Our dog, Dyango, gets so excited the second she arrive. We will never forget You. She is the best
