“Ian took SUCH good care of my 1.5 year old bernedoodle for 3 weeks when I was traveling for work. I had so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting lots of care, play time and super long, scenic walks every day! Ian was super communicative and sent pictures of Banksy multiple times a day, which I very much appreciated. He told me about the couple of other dogs that he watched as well and how Banksy got along with each. Ian really is thoughtful about how the dogs interact together and makes sure they have safe, supervised play and will give them space, if needed. I know Banks absolutely LOVED being there and was sad to leave! I will 100% be reaching out to Ian the next time I go out of town.”

They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! “Violet was an exceptional pet sitter with our two cats. She was very communicative and also very sweet and gentle with the kitties. One of our cats has to have oral meds given to her each morning and night, and Violet went above and beyond to make sure that she received the medication that she needed—even with our wiggly, energetic cat. By the end of the visit, it was clear from the photos that our cats trusted Violet and looked forward to seeing her. She was always on time and took care whatever we needed. You can genuinely tell that Ruben cares about the dogs he watches. The way he talks about them and the way he gives updates felt so genuine. You can tell that he really takes the time to get to know each dog, pays attention to their needs, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy. It was clear to me that his care for Tsuki wasn’t just because she was staying with him it’s genuinely how he treats the dogs he dog sits for. Ruben is such a great guy with a kind heart and a really good attitude. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and support he gave Tsuki and for how reassuring he was throughout her 3 day stay. “I couldn't have asked for a more down-to-earth, caring, responsible person to take care of my dog. Even with a wonderful grassy fenced-in backyard to play in, Camille also took our dog for two walks along the peaceful tree-lined neighborhood she resides in. Our dog is generally anxious in new settings but, when I came to pick him up, he was completely relaxed on the rug along with their dog, Rosie. With other Rover sitters, he usually bolts for me and the door simultaneously with a wide-eyed frenzy which I had always chalked up to his anxious personality. When my dog didn't bolt, I knew immediately that she had been especially hospitable kind and loving towards him - for him to feel so safe and look so comfortable and at home. I saw it in his manner and felt it in my gut. There is only one other Rover sitter (out of many we have tried) that has had this effect on him. I highly recommend Camille to take care of your dog because she has something special. I would be willing to drive 30 minutes out of my way and back to have her take care of our dog. There is nothing I want more than to know my dog is happy and content when I am not around.”
About: I do take up to 4 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

Ian can well accommodate little ones, big ones and handicapped ones all together for a nice time to be had by all. Ian offers food on time and often, sets out clean full water (I know other places that do not set out water the whole day) and he accommodates each individual dog's needs.”

“I live in the Belmont cragin neighborhood and I was seeking a dog walker for my dog Toby. After seeking multiple dog walking business, we we’re not in there service area. My last resort was Rover, I was really hesitant and nervous about finding a dog walker on an app. I reached out to Jose based on his wonderful reviews and his profile information. I notified Jose this was my first time using Rover and i was nervous and hesitant, i asked if we can do a meet and greet in person first. Jose immediately responded to me and agreed to a meet in greet the same day. I asked Jose the questions I had for him in regards of Rover how it worked and what I was looking for in a dog walker and my schedule needs. Jose answered all my questions and was able to accommodate me in his schedule. Toby warmed up to Jose that same day as well, Jose has taken toby on two walks so far and by the pictures and how excited toby is to see him when he picks him up, it definitely puts me at ease! About: I’ve had pets as young as 6 years old, both cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of small dogs from shitzu Maltese mix to St. Bernard’s. Currently I own 2 female cats and learned the difference between dog and cat responsibilities. I currently work the AM shift at my full time job (4:45AM-1:45PM), and am completely free in the afternoon after work. I also have my availability for the rest of the year and can be pretty flexible with some notice. I have an extra room I use as an office in my apartment, this way I’m able to give them space away from my pets.

About: I unfortunately wasn’t allowed to have pets until I was older. I adopted my first pet (a cat) at 19 and she’s still with me! With the addition of 5 other cats as well since my family moved in with me😭. Although 2 of those cats are technically not mine, but one of family members, I still care for them all the same. I have also fostered kittens before and helped potty train them as well as bottle fed them. I have some experience giving medication to my cats for a short time; no long term medications as of now. —————————————————— I have pet sit for my friends whom are mostly fellow cat owners. For them, they usually just ask me to drop by during the day or evening to feed and change their litter and spend some time around them. I’ve taken care of my friends dog who doesn’t go on walks, so I would let her out in my friends yard to use the bathroom and then she’d come right back in to lay on the couch. I have several family members that are dog owners and I’ve been around them playing with them and occasionally went on walks with them or helped feeding them. But I’ve never officially taken care of them with out the owners being there. ——————————————— Although I am more of a cat person, I do get along with dogs! With cats I have 6 or so years of experience and with dogs I have about 2 years of experience. When visiting your home, I will take care of your home and leave things as they were!! If there any instructions you would like for me to follow, I will gladly read them, whether that’s for the fur babies or the house itself! I’m currently working part time so my schedule is pretty flexible and since my family currently lives with me they help take care of my own cats if I leave town. I typically work Wednesday and Friday afternoons and I’m free after 5:30pm, I do work weekends but I’m normally available after 4:00 pm and can stay overnight if needed. I’m normally off Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can come by more during those days, but any day during the week I can fit in dropping by, specially in the afternoons! Since I currently live with family and 6 cats I understand most other pets might not immediately get along with 6 new animals, so I can always drop by or stay at your place to take care of your fur babies!

About: As a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Design online at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I needed a job with a flexible schedule to fit in with my studies. I figured my passion for animals could help me out. My passion for animals, particularly dogs, has led me to gain experience in dog grooming through training at my aunt's salon (My Dog's Groomer in Melrose Park) and caring for the pets of relatives and colleagues in my apartment. Due to my roommate's allergies to cats and apartment restrictions, I am limited to caring for small or medium dogs and other small pets in my apartment. However, I am happy to provide services such as drop-ins, dog walks, pet sitting, and care for larger animals and cats at the owner's home. I also offer dog bathing, brushing, and nail trimming services between professional grooming appointments upon request during booked service (subject to an additional cost). I also care for other pets like Guinea pigs, cats, fish, rabbits, hamsters, etc. I will have a great deal of availability throughout the summer, as I will not be enrolled in any summer courses, and it is also the off-season for my volleyball coaching position. I generally prefer to offer pet care services at my home, as it allows me to easily study from home. Nevertheless, I am also happy to accommodate your dogs' needs in their familiar and comfortable environment. About: Growing up with a larger family I have always been used to a much hectic environment. About: 3 dog owner here, including a tripod. Two boys and a girl all came to us from people who could no longer care for them. Two were from former students and one from the husband of a colleague. During the academic school year my work hours are from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm. I'm a full-time teacher and I also want to play with your dogs. My school hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I am happy to work out drop off, pick up, hang out time and potty breaks. My dogs have front and back fenced-in yards to hang out and run around. They are able to roam the house all day. They go on walks twice a day and we have recently incorporated logic toys to keep them sharp.

“Ian took SUCH good care of my 1.5 year old bernedoodle for 3 weeks when I was traveling for work. I had so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting lots of care, play time and super long, scenic walks every day! Ian was super communicative and sent pictures of Banksy multiple times a day, which I very much appreciated. He told me about the couple of other dogs that he watched as well and how Banksy got along with each. Ian really is thoughtful about how the dogs interact together and makes sure they have safe, supervised play and will give them space, if needed. I know Banks absolutely LOVED being there and was sad to leave! I will 100% be reaching out to Ian the next time I go out of town.”
“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”

“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”
About: I try to spend as much time as possible with my fur baby, and will with yours as well! As an empathetic person, I anticipate and respond to the needs of animals at the drop of a hat. Since I was 5-years-old I have always had a pet in my life, and loved every second of it. I have done dog walking, trained my current puppy and even performed tricks at events with my first dog. My schedule allows me to be home as much as I want so I can welcome a special-guest pet here as well. I am a very active person, so it is common for me to play with pets that want to get some energy out. I also am down to chill with them on the sofa and watch a movie or read. So come on over, I live in a single family home with my sweet dog chili, we have lots of space inside and outside in the yard to hang out and play. I work part-time from home so this allows me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. I already have a nice routine taking care of my dog chili, so adding another is perfect. My dog and I usually go for a walk in the morning after breakfast. My neighborhood is fantastic for dog-walking. There is a lot of grass and options for short or longer walks. There is also a park walking-distance or a dog park that is a very short drive, if that is more the vibe. During the afternoon we will chill at the house, maybe play a bit. I have a nice water filtration system so they will have filtered water access. I have a cute yard in the back with grass that the dogs can go out in throughout the day or night. And then after dinner we will take another walk through the neighborhood or to the park. Often we can relax together in the living room and watch a movie before bed. The dogs can sleep in my room or wherever they are comfortable.
