About: I unfortunately wasn’t allowed to have pets until I was older. I adopted my first pet (a cat) at 19 and she’s still with me! With the addition of 5 other cats as well since my family moved in with me😭. Although 2 of those cats are technically not mine, but one of family members, I still care for them all the same. I have also fostered kittens before and helped potty train them as well as bottle fed them. I have some experience giving medication to my cats for a short time; no long term medications as of now. —————————————————— I have pet sit for my friends whom are mostly fellow cat owners. For them, they usually just ask me to drop by during the day or evening to feed and change their litter and spend some time around them. I’ve taken care of my friends dog who doesn’t go on walks, so I would let her out in my friends yard to use the bathroom and then she’d come right back in to lay on the couch. I have several family members that are dog owners and I’ve been around them playing with them and occasionally went on walks with them or helped feeding them. But I’ve never officially taken care of them with out the owners being there. ——————————————— Although I am more of a cat person, I do get along with dogs! With cats I have 6 or so years of experience and with dogs I have about 2 years of experience. When visiting your home, I will take care of your home and leave things as they were!! If there any instructions you would like for me to follow, I will gladly read them, whether that’s for the fur babies or the house itself! I’m currently working part time so my schedule is pretty flexible and since my family currently lives with me they help take care of my own cats if I leave town. I typically work Wednesday and Friday afternoons and I’m free after 5:30pm, I do work weekends but I’m normally available after 4:00 pm and can stay overnight if needed. I’m normally off Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can come by more during those days, but any day during the week I can fit in dropping by, specially in the afternoons! Since I currently live with family and 6 cats I understand most other pets might not immediately get along with 6 new animals, so I can always drop by or stay at your place to take care of your fur babies!

About: I’ve had pets as young as 6 years old, both cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of small dogs from shitzu Maltese mix to St. Bernard’s. Currently I own 2 female cats and learned the difference between dog and cat responsibilities. I currently work the AM shift at my full time job (4:45AM-1:45PM), and am completely free in the afternoon after work. I also have my availability for the rest of the year and can be pretty flexible with some notice. I have an extra room I use as an office in my apartment, this way I’m able to give them space away from my pets.

About: I grew up with cats and have taken care of them my whole life, and I am now a full-time pet sitter! I have lived with dogs and done some care for them as well. I currently have a rabbit, rats, a frog, a gecko, and a jeweled lacerta, so I'm well-versed in pet care and in balancing multiple pets' needs! I am also experienced giving meds to rats, frogs, dogs, and cats, as well as caring for rabbits. I am a former librarian, but now I pet sit full-time, so I have a lot of daytime availability to take care of your pets! I'm very careful to triple-check that I'm following all the instructions I am left. I never want to leave out an instruction, since you know your pets best! I always make sure to give pets as much love as they want, but if your cat is shy, I'll give them their space! Please inform me in advance if anybody will be in the home while I am there. This does not preclude me taking care of the pets, it is just informational. Thanks! I pet sit full-time, so I have a lot of availability at all times of day, all week long. Just let me know what time you need and we'll make it work! I don't provide in-home services on Rover. However, my own pets get a lot of enrichment and as much attention as they want to have.

Routines are super important for pets, if you don't have one I can create one for you and your fur baby that is specialized for them; that way you always know what to expect. I always ask for permission when it comes to treats, the rooms in the home that are off limits, and what animals can be with who/how many I can walk at a time.

About: As a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Design online at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I needed a job with a flexible schedule to fit in with my studies. I figured my passion for animals could help me out. My passion for animals, particularly dogs, has led me to gain experience in dog grooming through training at my aunt's salon (My Dog's Groomer in Melrose Park) and caring for the pets of relatives and colleagues in my apartment. Due to my roommate's allergies to cats and apartment restrictions, I am limited to caring for small or medium dogs and other small pets in my apartment. However, I am happy to provide services such as drop-ins, dog walks, pet sitting, and care for larger animals and cats at the owner's home. I also offer dog bathing, brushing, and nail trimming services between professional grooming appointments upon request during booked service (subject to an additional cost). I also care for other pets like Guinea pigs, cats, fish, rabbits, hamsters, etc. I will have a great deal of availability throughout the summer, as I will not be enrolled in any summer courses, and it is also the off-season for my volleyball coaching position. I generally prefer to offer pet care services at my home, as it allows me to easily study from home. Nevertheless, I am also happy to accommodate your dogs' needs in their familiar and comfortable environment. Regardless of the location, I would be grateful if clients could provide a detailed schedule that includes the pet's feeding times, sleeping patterns, walking routines, and all necessary emergency contact information.

About: Growing up with a larger family I have always been used to a much hectic environment. I’ve been around much vocal and less vocal pets and it’s always awesome to see what personality you will get with your fur baby! I would love to be able to play and most importantly keep your pets safe. I dedicate about all of my time to making sure all pets are well taken care of. I also love going to my nearest shelter and love to take out the pups out on walks and love to keep up with my shelters announcements. About: I always wanted to work with animals growing up. I've owned dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. Once I turned 18 I stared working in a daycare and boarding facility where I walked, fed, and supervised daycare groups that held 20-25 dogs. I currently work in a veterinary clinic where I work as a technician. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages although I do currently work I can always work my schedule around to best suit your pets needs. I can definitely work most afternoons and evenings and weekends. I personally prefer instructions on what the pet parents want. Feedings instructions, any allergies, and until I get to really know them just a description of their pet's personality. I love when parents give me any information on their pet(s).
