HOLIDAYS: Please note, I do not take new clients over major holidays. Previous clients, please reach out in advance as I have limited availability. Note that Rover automatically applies holiday charges for all days of any bookings that include a holiday, but I only apply the holiday charge on the date of the holiday itself (your booking price will be modified). Monday-Friday I’m available 8-10:30am and 3:30-8pm. I’m consistently available evening and weekends 8am-8pm. I’m flexible for last minute additions and am happy to do a virtual /in person meet and greet before bookings when there is time.

I am comfortable going on leashed long walks with your dog, putting on weather protective gear (boots, jackets), wiping paws after walks, and working on loose lease training or basic commands with all types of dogs. I only take one client at a time. I’m willing to work on developing a relationship with your shy dog/cat. In fact, I’d love to!

I love teaching dogs new tricks and learning their natural quirks. I've been known to try and teach my dogs to do some TikTok dances with me :D . I try to go on new walking routes often so the dogs never get bored and get to experience new sniffs.

Hi! I’m an insured pet sitter through Pet Sitter Associates (this is additional protection for your pet’s safety in addition to the Rover Guarantee) , I’m certified in pet first aid and CPR through the Red Cross, and I’ve completed a Fear-Free pet caregiver course through Fear Free Pets. I have the best job! For more than 2 years I was fur-filled by managing the daily operations of a dog walking and cat sitting business in Chicago (50+ sitters and 100s of clients). I've been a professional pet sitter for even longer. In June 2024 I took a step back from my management role to get back to my roots- caring for your awesome pets myself! I’ve had the privilege of meeting 100s of dogs and cats all around the city. I’ve even met some fish, chickens, snakes, and hamsters, oh my! I’m a dog mom of 2 rescued shih-tzus: my old man, Murphy (13yrs), and my recent rescue, Don Chucho (3yrs) who has epilepsy. As a pet parent myself, I know how much it means to have someone you trust caring for your furry family members. I am a Fear Free certified animal caregiver- I have experience with reactive dogs (big and small), following your established training methods, pets with special medical needs, senior pets, and administering medication. I believe in minimizing pet anxiety whenever possible by letting them lead the interactions, having a calm presence, and lots of cheese (Or whatever suits their fancy)!

Maya is the best. She always does an amazing job taking care of our two cats - both in their basic needs (food, water, litter) and building a great rapport with them. Her daily updates paired with fun photos are a highlight for us, and it's apparent our cats look forward to visits with her.

Maya is the BEST! I had an event to attend and she made sure my baby was taken care of through out the whole day! She stopped by twice , took Chuco on 2 walks and even feed him dinner for me! I couldn’t be more grateful. My dog, Chuco, is always in a better mood when he gets to spend time with Maya!
