“Leila is fabulous! We need a last second walk for our pups. She came to our house to get the pups. Our friend that was there earlier in the day left the leashes in the wrong place and Leila was patient enough to search for them. It delayed her walk quite a bit but she didn’t shorten their walk. About: Hi, I'm Erin! Before I entered the world of office work, I was walking dogs and pet sitting professionally for local businesses in Richmond, VA and Naperville, IL. I have 6 years of experience in pet care, including some experience at a groomer and daycare. I love all animals and have worked with and owned all kinds, from exotics, birds, cats, and dogs. I've cared for little puppies still figuring things out as well as the sweet seniors that need a little help eating and getting around. I've also rescued and fostered kittens! I have a personal interest in positive reinforcement training and use it on my own dog. I have been trained to orally medicate, administer shots, and have experience with first aid/CPR. I have a Chihuahua mix who is my heart and soul, so I understand what concerns a pet parent may have. In my free time I like to bike, paint, read, watch movies, go birding, and play video games. I place security and safety of your pet and home at top priority and like to leave things just as good or better than when I came. You'll get photos and updates with each visit if requested so you can rest easy while away. Please don't hesitate to reach out of you have any questions or concerns! I'm available most of the week except for Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm where I work my full time job in medical billing. I work from home so I can be flexible if you are in the area as I have some downtime. I like to leave your house as I found it or better. If there are special instructions (such as door codes, house or pet quirks, crate or feeding instructions) please provide them prior to the visit. If your pup would like some socialization, I'd be happy to bring Mavis along for walks. If you need trash taken out, plants watered, litter boxes scooped, please let me know and I'll take care of it. If you're out of town for a while I like to rotate lights in the house to make it look lived in. Food and water will be checked every visit. I also don't like to use flexi leashes due to possible risks and will use my own 6 ft leash just in case you don't own one. If your pet has any favorite toys, activities, or other special info let me know!

About: I have been petsitting since i was 5 years old. My love for animals started when i first met my neighbors pomeranians who i dog sat very frequently growing up. I recently stopped taking care of them because they moved to florida,but i cared for them from puppyhood until they were senior pups! I also got a pup of my own when i was 9 and trained him by myself although it was hard because he was a stubborn guy! He loved going on adventures so i would act like id take the wrong turn on walks and he'd be so happy! So if your pup loves long walks i am most definitely okay with accommodating to your puppys walk length. If your puppy is sleepy and doesnt like long walks thats okay too! I am in school, but i am available after school and on weekends! I am always available after 3 to take a puppy outside for a long walk or a feeding I am always making sure the pet is happy and comfortable. I like to make sure that they come to me when they want pets so that they can get used to me. I am always paying attention to body language and how they are reacting

About: I have been with Rover since 2019 My daughter Joanna also help with the small dogs and she’s home all the time I have always had my own dogs and cats. I have a separate area just for the cats. I can give medications if needed. I love to play and walk them. I’ve helped two female dogs give birth, and taken care of the 9 puppies for 8 weeks. I like to teach dogs and to reward them for good behavior. I can provide feeding time and if needed I can do house training. I love taking pictures and would love to send you pictures and videos through out the day. I have plenty of room in my home with a fenced in front and backyard. About: Being a musician in the city Chicago, one of the best feelings is playing music out in the park on a sunny day as I watch people go by with their dogs. When they hear the music, the dogs get more excited than the owners. My best friend has a Miniature Schnauzer and whenever I go to visit them, she jumps on me and starts singing with me. About: Having grown up on a farm with 38 horses, minimum of 5 dogs at a time and too many cats to count, caring for and loving animals of all sizes has been a major part of my life. I’ve trained both dogs and horses and cared for all kinds of critters. When friends or family need a trusted person to care for or train their pet, I am the first person they call. My main job schedule can vary, but I am available most days of the week. Because I work in mental health and create my own schedule, I will like have random times available to drop in and take care of your pets. Outside of having to care for my own Rottweiler, Maya, I can care for your pet in between. Of course, making sure that each room is stacked with the proper food, water, and equipment whenever i’m leaving the house is part of my routine, and is of paramount importance to me. I live in a one bedroom apartment. I like to distribute the dogs evenly amongst the bedroom and living room, depending on compatibility between pups. Then the rooms are stacked with toys, food, and water. From there, it’s just a matter of making sure the pups receive adequate exercise. This can be accomplished through ball play in a smaller space, Fetch, or light jogging outside.
