“Stavroula has been great! She communicates well and sends me several pictures of my dog Winston doing his business. I actually have two dogs. Winston was just adopted on Christmas Eve and he's a little over a year old. He isn't fully housebroken due to being found as a stray. When she gets here to let him out, he and my other dog Benson get pretty excited. She deals with their mayhem without complaint. I definitely recommend her!”

About: Hi, I'm Erin! Before I entered the world of office work, I was walking dogs and pet sitting professionally for local businesses in Richmond, VA and Naperville, IL. I have 6 years of experience in pet care, including some experience at a groomer and daycare. I love all animals and have worked with and owned all kinds, from exotics, birds, cats, and dogs. I've cared for little puppies still figuring things out as well as the sweet seniors that need a little help eating and getting around. I've also rescued and fostered kittens! I have a personal interest in positive reinforcement training and use it on my own dog. I have been trained to orally medicate, administer shots, and have experience with first aid/CPR. I have a Chihuahua mix who is my heart and soul, so I understand what concerns a pet parent may have. In my free time I like to bike, paint, read, watch movies, go birding, and play video games. I place security and safety of your pet and home at top priority and like to leave things just as good or better than when I came. You'll get photos and updates with each visit if requested so you can rest easy while away. Please don't hesitate to reach out of you have any questions or concerns! I'm available most of the week except for Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm where I work my full time job in medical billing. I work from home so I can be flexible if you are in the area as I have some downtime. I like to leave your house as I found it or better. If there are special instructions (such as door codes, house or pet quirks, crate or feeding instructions) please provide them prior to the visit. If your pup would like some socialization, I'd be happy to bring Mavis along for walks. If you need trash taken out, plants watered, litter boxes scooped, please let me know and I'll take care of it. If you're out of town for a while I like to rotate lights in the house to make it look lived in. Food and water will be checked every visit. I also don't like to use flexi leashes due to possible risks and will use my own 6 ft leash just in case you don't own one. If your pet has any favorite toys, activities, or other special info let me know!
“Leila is fabulous! We need a last second walk for our pups. She came to our house to get the pups. Our friend that was there earlier in the day left the leashes in the wrong place and Leila was patient enough to search for them. It delayed her walk quite a bit but she didn’t shorten their walk. She took great care of our pups and gave them treats. Her report was thorough and detailed, which helped alleviate any worry I had for our pups. Thanks Leila!”

About: Hello! I’m a recent college graduate and a devoted pet lover working from a home office. I offer reliable, flexible, and high-quality care for your furry family members, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and entertained while you are away. My Pet Care Experience My passion for animal care is rooted in a lifetime of experience with both dogs and cats. I am currently the proud owner of three cats with unique needs: Stomy (my rescued Orange Tabby) taught me patience, Sheba (my Highlander Lynx) keeps me active with high-energy play, and Atticus (my Siamese) taught me the importance of constant social engagement. In addition to my cats, I have extensive experience with dogs. Until recently, I was a dedicated owner to three rescued dogs who passed away peacefully last year. Caring for them, especially in their golden years, gave me deep experience with senior pet care, administering medication, and providing the gentle, compassionate support that older or shy animals need. Whether you have an energetic puppy or a slow-moving senior, I have the hands-on experience to make them feel safe and comfortable. Services & Activities I Provide When I visit your home, my goal is to keep your pet's routine consistent and stress-free. My drop-in visits and house-sitting services include: * Feeding & Hygiene: Adhering strictly to feeding schedules, refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and picking up waste. * Enrichment & Exercise: For cats, this means interactive play to burn off energy. For dogs, this includes stimulating walks, fetch, or backyard playtime. * Safety & Home Care: As a pet owner, I am hyper-aware of "door dashers." I practice strict safety protocols when entering and exiting to prevent escapes. I also bring in mail, water plants, and ensure your home is left tidy and secure. * Updates: You will receive detailed updates and high-quality photos after every visit, so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. My Schedule & Availability Because I work remotely from my home office, my schedule is my biggest asset for your peace of mind. Unlike sitters with rigid 9-to-5 commutes, I have open flexibility throughout the day. * I can easily accommodate mid-day drop-ins, early mornings, or evening visits. * I am available for last-minute requests if your plans change. * I have the time to stay a little longer if your pet seems lonely or needs extra cuddles. I understand that inviting a sitter into your home requires a great deal of trust. I treat every pet I meet with the same affection I give my own crew, and I treat your home with the utmost respect. My schedule: FLEXIBLE I currently work remotely from my home office, providing me with open availability throughout the week. Because I am home-based, I am highly reliable and able to commit to specific time slots that suit your pet's feeding and medication schedule. I have the freedom to step away from my desk to ensure your pets get the quality time and attention they deserve, exactly when they need it. Safety begins the moment I unlock your door. As a cat dad to three active felines, I am hyper-aware of "door darters" and curious paws. I practice a strict "look down before you step" policy and always double-check that doors and windows are securely latched before leaving. inside the home, I keep a close eye on your cat’s health and mood, ensuring they are eating, using the litter box normally, and engaging comfortably. I also make sure to leave your home exactly as I found it—tidy, secure, and peaceful.

“We are very grateful we found Mike! He is great with our two large dogs and has worked hard on keeping us updated on their walks, and working with them on listening better while walking. He is very responsive and respectful of our home, and we look forward to working with him again.”

“Malcomn is wonderful with our dog Rosie. She is very friendly generally but she took to him right away and gets so excited to see him for walks. Malcomn is also very communicative and provides detail of their walks together. He also somehow manages to get the best photos of our girl when they are out for walks. 10/10, no notes!”

“Christopher has been great with our dog so far! He leaves thorough reviews and always makes sure he has enough water, which is very important given how hot Chicago gets in the summer. You can tell he loves dogs from the way he cares for them. He was also willing to come to meet our pup for a meet and greet prior to the walks which we very much appreciated. Looking forward to keeping Christopher on board as a stellar dog walker.”

“Excellent walker. He’s good at winning over stubborn dogs. Reliable and good with the small touches most dog walkers miss like wiping paws if your dog gets them muddy. High recommend him. He’ll take good care of your pooch.”

“Patrick did a great job walking Killer for 2 afternoons. He stepped up at the last minute to help us out of an unexpected jam, and we really appreciate it. Patrick is pleasant, funny and easy going. Killer felt comfortable immediately upon meeting. We will ask Patrick for help next time we meed a walker.”

About: I have been petsitting since i was 5 years old. My love for animals started when i first met my neighbors pomeranians who i dog sat very frequently growing up. I recently stopped taking care of them because they moved to florida, but i cared for them from puppyhood until they were senior pups! I also got a pup of my own when i was 9 and trained him by myself although it was hard because he was a stubborn guy! He loved going on adventures so i would act like id take the wrong turn on walks and he'd be so happy! So if your pup loves long walks i am most definitely okay with accommodating to your puppys walk length. If your puppy is sleepy and doesnt like long walks thats okay too! I am in school, but i am available after school and on weekends! I am always available after 3 to take a puppy outside for a long walk or a feeding I am always making sure the pet is happy and comfortable. I like to make sure that they come to me when they want pets so that they can get used to me. I am always paying attention to body language and how they are reacting
About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.
About: I am an experienced caregiver, dedicated to the well being of dogs and cats! Attentive care and fostering a safe and fun environment is my goal :) I work from home, so I am pretty flexible and available throughout the week and weekends! If house sitting, I typically do need to step away to run errands, have work meetings, etc., so your pet should be able to be alone for a few hours if booking with me. When caring for your pet or walking your dog, I prioritize their well being by being super attentive to their needs - exercise, attention, affection.❤️
About: I have hands-on experience raising two Doberman Pinschers back home in Nigeria, and I also spend time with my best friend’s Golden Doodle here in the U.S. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, and attentiveness when it comes to caring for dogs. Even though I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I treat every pet as if they were mine—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also mindful of following routines, giving plenty of exercise, and paying attention to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’d be honored to help care for your furry family member, and I look forward to building trust with both you and your pet. I work full time, but I’m available for pet care on my WFH days, evenings, and weekends. I make sure every visit includes attention, exercise, and lots of love, keeping pets happy and cared for while their owners are away. Pets in my home enjoy a safe, comfortable space with supervised play in my fenced yard and crate time when needed. On client visits, I follow routines closely—feeding, walks, and play—so every pet feels happy, secure, and well cared for.

During the academic school year my work hours are from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm. I'm a full-time teacher and I also want to play with your dogs. My school hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I am happy to work out drop off, pick up, hang out time and potty breaks. My dogs have front and back fenced-in yards to hang out and run around. About: Hello, I’m Joshua, or “Shua” for short! I’m very personable with both people and pets. I’m a driven, energetic, and playful person who lives for moments of 1 on 1 connection with animals. I don’t have any dogs of my own, but I have accumulated so much pet sitting experience through Rover. I’ve had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of pups, including Black Labs, Retrievers, Shih-Tzus, Goldendoodles.. You name it, I’ve cuddled it! Through my pet sitting experience, I see myself as an adoptive pet parent. I LOVE that my apartment is rarely empty, and a fur baby is always in reach ♥️🐶 I live in the suburban neighborhood of Spring Branch. I love how much there is to do here. It’s great for running, playing, or any other activity a dog’s heart may desire. My apartment complex has a large yard with lots of open space and grass for my furry guests to play. I play soccer competitively and practice every day. I also enjoy running and cooking. My favorite shows are Suits and How I Met Your Mother. I love watching TV with friends and family. I got a 30 on my ACT and take pride in being able to find creative and intelligent solutions to any problem I’m faced with while dog sitting. Feel free to reach out with any questions!! I am an open book and ALWAYS looking to provide a better pet experience with each new booking. I currently work from home. My work schedule is very lax and subject to change in order to accommodate pet care. Of course, making sure that each room is stacked with the proper food, water, and equipment whenever i’m leaving the house is part of my routine, and is of paramount importance to me. I live in a one bedroom apartment. I like to distribute the dogs evenly amongst the bedroom and living room, depending on compatibility between pups. Then the rooms are stacked with toys, food, and water. From there, it’s just a matter of making sure the pups receive adequate exercise. This can be accomplished through ball play in a smaller space, Fetch, or light jogging outside.
About: I grew up on a ranch for part of my life so I’ve worked with a variety of animals from snakes to long horns. I’m also a pet owner myself! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as multiple at a time. I’m a full-time student with in-person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so other than those days I’ll be with your fur baby working from home! I live in a pet friendly duplex building in Logan square with easy access to parks and lots of room for roaming and down time.

Keightlyn is a kind, reliable walker who was always flexible and able to adjust her weekly walks with my dog as needed. She is easy to communicate with and always sent the cutest photo updates of my dog. I definitely recommend her services and will be using her again!

Another great booking with Rosario! We booked her for drop in visits for our dog while we were out of state for a wedding. She always sends lots of photos and videos of our boy having a great time - putting us at ease that he’s in good hands. Our return flight got cancelled multiple times and Rosario was so helpful and flexible with extending her visits so our boy wasn’t left alone until we finally got home two days later. We are so grateful

Maya was great with my two dogs! She was communicative, attentive, and made sure they were walked, fed, and settled in before leaving. She also sent lots of great photos from their walk. I felt completely comfortable with them in her care and would absolutely book her again!

I had a great experience with Megan walking my dog! He can be wary of new people but it sounded like everything went well and they went for a great walk. I appreciated how communicative Megan was and that she came by for a quick meet and greet beforehand. Would recommend!
