“Stavroula was a good communicator and I really appreciated her accepting my last minute booking. I like that she took pictures of my dog during their walks. I can tell Izzy liked her too… he seemed confused that she left after the walk instead of staying to hang out 😂”

About: I’ve raised my mini-golden doodle of 8 years from when he was 2 months old. I’ve trained him to potty outside & all the main tricks. He’s well behaved & gentle. That’s why many of my friends have trusted me with caring for their pets. Whether that be checking in to feed them, walk them, play with them, or even lightly train them. My friends think I’m a dog whisperer. I’m currently doing a career change & study for my Illinois real estate license. My availability is completely open and flexible at this time. Let me know what your needs are! I care for dogs in a way that respects their routine, their boundaries, and keep things clean and in order. Whether it be from dog sitting overnight, I have a keen ear to puppies and when they’re up to something or know when they need to go out to potty in the middle of the night. Any other type of care will be simply respecting your home rules & how you like your pet to be handled or trained along the way.

About: I had 2 Labradors for about 3 years, a Dachshund for 4 (when i was younger) and lived in Chicago then i moved to California in 2015. The places i stayed out here prohibited animals evidently, so i would find alot of joy in taking care of my close friends dogs and neibors . i would often go over to play with her and take her walks just for the utter joy of it. i am a very caring, compassionate animal lover of all kinds and would enjoy to do what i love most :)I have experience with animals and my own pets for over 10 years. My family and i raised dogs and cats in our homes since I could remember. I was always the one stealing my mother's tuna to give to the Stray Cats finding litters of kittens in the backyard rescuing injured birds, ever since I was a child I had a curiosity for animals. I enjoy the company of my animals and maintain my responsibility of taking care of my pets every single day. I have dealt with many different breeds of dogs and cat to understand them on a personal level and their nature and behavior. I truly love my animals I feel that I naturally connect with dogs and cats totally. Currently my small pet family consists of a 6 month old black and white tabby cat and a 3 year old small white terrier listen to get along with very well. I give my pets regular exercise and walks. My pets all have their shots and vaccinations there is no doubt that these are more than just animals to me they become family and a priority. I would be honored to extend my helpfulness and experience to others by doing something that I enjoy and passionate about.

About: Originally from a small town in Texas I was raised on ranch surrounded by animals and I’ve loved every minute of it. Once I moved away I still wanted to keep animals in my life. I have experience fostering animals and caring for senior pets. I have open availability, so whatever time you need works for me. Whether you need someone to walk your dog while you are at work or someone to watch them overnight, I can help. I have grown up around dogs and spending time with them is one of the most enjoyable things I think a person can do. I am experienced with crate training, training basic commands, and teaching your dog to walk on a leash. If your dog doesn’t need any of that, that is fine too. Whether you just need a quick walk or want me to spend a couple hours with your dog, I will make sure it is the best part of their day!
“Leila is fabulous! We need a last second walk for our pups. She came to our house to get the pups. Our friend that was there earlier in the day left the leashes in the wrong place and Leila was patient enough to search for them. It delayed her walk quite a bit but she didn’t shorten their walk. She took great care of our pups and gave them treats. Her report was thorough and detailed, which helped alleviate any worry I had for our pups. Thanks Leila!”

About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.

About: I have hands-on experience raising two Doberman Pinschers back home in Nigeria, and I also spend time with my best friend’s Golden Doodle here in the U.S. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, and attentiveness when it comes to caring for dogs. Even though I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I treat every pet as if they were mine—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also mindful of following routines, giving plenty of exercise, and paying attention to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’d be honored to help care for your furry family member, and I look forward to building trust with both you and your pet. About: I have been watching my friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets for 5+ years now. I offer a “Wow” factor of service that goes beyond the traditional water, food, bathroom routine. When I care for any pet, I take the extra care and time to play and cuddle so your fuzzy friend is never lonely. I make sure to bring my Polaroid camera to take pictures of your pet while you’re away so you never miss a moment and can display your cutie anywhere in the home - completely complimentary! This means I have lots of unused patience I typically spend on my little ones to use on taking care of your beloved pets and household, as well as lots of time on my hands to attend to your needs! I care for any pet like they are my pet. As a pet owner myself, it is so hard being away and worrying how they’re doing. When I leave them in others’ care, I would hope they care for my pet like they are their own. I take this philosophy into the homes and lives of others. With extensive practice in child care, pet care and medicine management, and house sitting, I will come to your aid with a lens of empathy and compassion.

Oleksandra was great! My girl sassy was tired and happy when I came home. I know they had some great playtime together and sassy was super comfortable with her, which is hard! Sassy can be very shy. She’s high energy but still shy and coming home to a tired happy dog is wonderful. Thanks oleksandra!!!

Jessica was great with walking and caring for our pups, Lily and Dawson, and we can't thank her enough for her help! She responded almost immediately to our very last-minute request and followed all of our care instructions without any issues. We hope to be able to book her again anytime that we need care for our dogs!

Grace has been super amazing! I recently broke my foot and live on the third floor of an apartment building. She’s quick to respond and is great with communication! She’s very responsive to my dog and takes good care of him! She has been really helpful and definitely recommended!
