About: Hi! I’m Lauren, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. Additionally, I’ve fostered dogs during extreme weather emergencies, caring for each one until I was able to personally find them a loving, forever home. I earned my Master’s in Psychological Science and am currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. My background has strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and understanding of behavior, all of which are qualities that help me provide attentive, individualized care for every pet. As a dog owner myself (to a sweet American bully), I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family member. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a dependable companion, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide dependable care throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I’m happy to work with you to accommodate your scheduling needs whenever possible. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any other preferences to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I treat every home with the utmost respect and provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease throughout my care.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

About: I’ve raised my mini-golden doodle of 8 years from when he was 2 months old. I’ve trained him to potty outside & all the main tricks. He’s well behaved & gentle. That’s why many of my friends have trusted me with caring for their pets. Whether that be checking in to feed them, walk them, play with them, or even lightly train them. My friends think I’m a dog whisperer. I’m currently doing a career change & study for my Illinois real estate license. My availability is completely open and flexible at this time. Let me know what your needs are! I care for dogs in a way that respects their routine, their boundaries, and keep things clean and in order. Whether it be from dog sitting overnight, I have a keen ear to puppies and when they’re up to something or know when they need to go out to potty in the middle of the night. My great uncle taught me everything I need to know about animals; from how to take care of him to what they need to survive and how to make them feel comfortable and safe .He made sure I understood that humans are no better than animals we all need love and patience . My job is to create a beautiful fun loving friend I am your friends so that they can be understood and cared for and loved . For overnight pet I require the owner to equip the pet with a overnight bag! Of course with a pet like items.Here at my Pet Paradise your pet will be in the best care. I have a number of neighborhood animals Ive take care of on a daily basis. Along with a silly family dog named Nova that's obsessed with playfully attacking toes. I typically Allow pets to have the ability to freeroam in the mostly because its a new space for them. A lot of pets get shy and nervous so i allow them to feel the place out. So they know there safe and that they're no vet around the corner. Lol 😆

About: I’ve been trusted taking care of dogs and other exotic pets such as chickens, bunnies and guinea pigs for years. It’s such a rewarding experience! I really value being able to make pets feel comfortable even when their people are away. I’m currently home from college for the summer and have no other serious commitments. During the school year, I am also able to schedule around classes. However, for the next 3 months pet care can be my main priority. In my home, I have a medium sized backyard with a 6-foot fence. As well as a back room that has a gate for my very friendly dog. In other homes, I take detailed notes of necessary safety precautions and protocols to prioritize pet safety.

About: 3 dog owner here, including a tripod. Two boys and a girl all came to us from people who could no longer care for them. Two were from former students and one from the husband of a colleague. I'm a full-time teacher and I also want to play with your dogs. My school hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I am happy to work out drop off, pick up, hang out time and potty breaks. My dogs have front and back fenced-in yards to hang out and run around. They are able to roam the house all day. They go on walks twice a day and we have recently incorporated logic toys to keep them sharp.
