I grew up with two cats and two large dogs. I learned how to care for and walk them from a young age. I got my own dog (Astrid) at 12 and have had pets ever since. I am experienced and comfortable with pets of any size and temperament, and will know how to care for them keep them safe. Thank you for trusting me!

I care for my cats by keeping them stimulated and ofcourse well loved! All potentially unsafe items/plants are kept out of reach and any areas that should be avoided are closed of at all times, this would go for clients as well. I’m aware of what is toxic to pets and make sure to not bring them into my home. I can keep your pet safe however is needed based on their needs :)

Great experience with Carlyle! We scheduled a few-hour visit ahead of a longer stay, and she was very accommodating of the unique request. I feel super comfortable with Carlyle staying with Avis in the future!

We had a wonderful experience with Carlyle watching our three cats for two days. One of our cats is diabetic and requires insulin, and she handled her medication calmly and confidently, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Another one of our cats needs lots of attention and cuddles, and Carlyle made sure she got all the extra love she craves, so everyone was relaxed and happy when we got home. She kept in touch with regular updates and photos, so we always knew how things were going while we were away. We highly recommend Carlyle to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter who’s great with special needs cats.
Carlyle took great care of our cats and dog when we went out of town for 4 days. Our anxious cat warmed up quickly to Carlyle (which is rare!) and our other pets were happy and well cared for. We will definitely book Carlyle again in the future.

Schedule
I work farmers markets spring-fall on the weekends so my week days are very open but I am available early mornings and the afternoons/evenings on weekends as well!
