Trixie is a rescue who has a lot of anxiety and has had some issues with dog walkers in the past (she would hide and refuse to go outside). However, she loves Abby! Abby took the time to slowly get to know Trixie and didn't push her when she was nervous. She was just what Trixie needed. Abby sends us detailed updates and photos each visit which is greatly appreciated. We are so glad we found Abby and highly recommend her!”

“Malcomn is literally a dog whisperer. He is absolutely incredible! My pup has high anxiety and doesn't take well to many people. He ADORED Malcomn upon meeting him. Malcomn is extraordinarily communicative, responsible, conscientious, timely, and not only does he take the most amazing care of your pup - treating them like they are his own - he sends frameworthy pics after every walk, including a detailed summary of the dog's activities. I trust Malcomn to look after my Brody as well (or even better!) than I do. Brody got excited daily to see Malcomn and had the best time. He was ecstatic to spend time with him. Our biggest regret in moving was leaving Malcomn. Don't hesitate to hire him - he is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! He develops a close relationship with your fur baby and if you invest the time to get to know him, he'll do the same with you. Saying he is one in a million is not enough - he's one in a zillion! I cannot recommend Malcomn highly enough.”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs since I was a kid and have house sat for our friends and neighbors for the last 3 years. I have cared for both young and old dogs. I currently live with my parents and our 7 year old lab rescue mix named Maggie. I currently am working remote here in Oak Park, which allows me to get out for walks throughout the day. Additionally, I am working on East Coast time so I finish work relatively early in the day. I would love to take your dog out on a nice walk to get some fresh air and get them the exercise they need! I do not have space to have dogs in my home, but in your home I will treat them with the utmost respect and love. If they need a walk, some snuggles, or anything else I am happy to help.

“Margaret cared for our rescue lab mix Danny for nearly 10 years when we went on vacations. Danny was a sweet boy, but not the best behaved pup in the world! She was loving and patient with him, she always went the extra mile to walk him even in the depth of winter, and he loved all the time and attention he received when in her care. When we pulled up to her house to drop him off he bounded up the stairs with excitement. Quite a difference from dropping him off at a local kennel where he whined and cried as soon as he caught a whiff of where he was going. Margaret always kept us updated on how Danny was doing while he was staying with her, and we always knew he was happy and safe in her care. I highly recommend Margaret for petsitting!”

“I have a senior dog with aging and health issues and was unable to leave her with anyone. I was so nervous but was really impressed with Jonathan B.'s profile, so I gave him a try. Best decision I could have made!!! Jonathan made sure he understood all the instructions and followed Sedona's routine to a tee. His Rover Cards are thorough and put my mind at ease. Sedona did exactly what she usually does which is the most important thing to an old gal. I was able to relax completely for the week knowing she was in expert hands. I loved how he spent time giving her belly rubs with pictures to show each time. I came home both times to no accidents in the house and a happy, healthy dog! Now I have a new worry: what will I do if Jonathan isn't available next time? ;-)”

About: I've owned a dog ever since I was 10, I am a current dog mom and know what is needed to be able to care for a dog. I am currently working part time so I have a lot of availability to be able to care for your fur babies. I have a lot of times in the mornings pretty much every day and most afternoons. I have my own pekignese that can keep your fur babies company with a fenced yard that makes it feel like their own dog park or playground :)
