Hi, I'm Erin! Before I entered the world of office work, I was walking dogs and pet sitting professionally for local businesses in Richmond, VA and Naperville, IL. I have 6 years of experience in pet care, including some experience at a groomer and daycare. I love all animals and have worked with and owned all kinds, from exotics, birds, cats, and dogs. I've cared for little puppies still figuring things out as well as the sweet seniors that need a little help eating and getting around. I've also rescued and fostered kittens! I have a personal interest in positive reinforcement training and use it on my own dog. I have been trained to orally medicate, administer shots, and have experience with first aid/CPR. I have a Chihuahua mix who is my heart and soul, so I understand what concerns a pet parent may have. In my free time I like to bike, paint, read, watch movies, go birding, and play video games. I place security and safety of your pet and home at top priority and like to leave things just as good or better than when I came. You'll get photos and updates with each visit if requested so you can rest easy while away. Please don't hesitate to reach out of you have any questions or concerns!

Safety, trust & environment
I like to leave your house as I found it or better. If there are special instructions (such as door codes, house or pet quirks, crate or feeding instructions) please provide them prior to the visit. If your pup would like some socialization, I'd be happy to bring Mavis along for walks. If you need trash taken out, plants watered, litter boxes scooped, please let me know and I'll take care of it. If you're out of town for a while I like to rotate lights in the house to make it look lived in. Food and water will be checked every visit. I also don't like to use flexi leashes due to possible risks and will use my own 6 ft leash just in case you don't own one. If your pet has any favorite toys, activities, or other special info let me know!

Erin went above and beyond for my buns… and my apartment. I really appreciate that she was available on short notice. I think my rabbits were definitely taken care of and enjoyed :) I couldn’t ask for anything more. Erin was flexible and had great communication too to set up pet care. Highly recommend :)
Having watched Erin care for animals firsthand, I can enthusiastically say she is a natural when it comes to pets. Erin is an exceptionally hard-working, reliable, and responsible pet caregiver who genuinely loves all animals. Erin is a responsible, loving pet caregiver. She gives them everything a pet needs to thrive exercise, time, attention, and affection. She can handle multiple animals at one time with ease I’ll giving the animals the distance and time they need for exercise to keep them healthy and strong. Erin’s hands are good hands because Erin’s heart is a good heart.

Schedule
I'm available most of the week except for Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm where I work my full time job in medical billing. I work from home so I can be flexible if you are in the area as I have some downtime.
