Pet care is my full time job, so most of my week is open to you and your pets! I've recently begun an dog grooming apprenticeship, which limits my available time on certain days. I am fairly flexible with scheduling tho, so don't hesitate to reach out!

I’m attentive on walks and will keep your fuzzy buddy from getting into too much trouble! I like to make sure all my walks are safe without sacrificing the fun. And I have no problem cleaning up messes– accidents happen, right? I pride myself on my ability to win an animal’s trust through patience & an understanding of their body language. This gentle empathetic approach has made me many fuzzy friends, and it lets my clients rest easy knowing their pets are in safe, loving hands. I'm vaccinated & boosted against COVID-19 and follow recommended social distancing & hygiene procedures!

Please give me a heads up if your pet is special needs, has a specific schedule or diet they need to follow, how long they’re allowed on their own (if I need to go anywhere while housesitting), or if they need medication. I also appreciate being made aware of any behaviors I should watch out for/discourage, or if there are any rooms they aren't allowed to go in. Adapting to new situations is a well practiced skill of mine, but if there is something I do not feel 100% equipped to handle, I will reach out to you. The safety and wellbeing of your babies comes before all else.
A typical day
There's no joy greater to me than playing around with a pet until the both of us need a nap! Since I'm unable to board pets, I can take them for a walk around your neighborhood, a nearby park, or wherever you prefer! If your pets don't go on walkies, I have an arsenal of toys and treats to keep them entertained all day! :) I do not have a personal vehicle, and thus cannot take your dog anywhere that isn’t within a reasonable walking distance. However, I will gladly wear excitable dogs out with long walks and lots of play! Initial transportation to your location will not be an issue.

Howdy, I’m Roy, full-time pet care professional! 🐶✨I’ve spent a lifetime in the company of cats & dogs, learning the ins and outs of pet care. From basic hygiene and feeding, to bathing and medicine administration, I handle it all with ease. Senior & special needs pets are no trouble at all; both of my kitties have chronic health issues and I’m used to pilling, eardropping, or otherwise medicating them on a regular basis!

Roy is fantastic! He took great care of my hamster, sent adorable pictures, and wrote detailed summaries of the visits. The hamster really seemed to like him :) I’ll definitely book with him the next time I go out of town!
