“Hope was so thorough, communicative, and lovely to work with. I've become a more anxious pet parent as our cats have gotten older and she immediately made me feel at ease. She cared for them as if they were her own, sent great pictures, and I will absolutely be reaching back out to her when we need pet care again! Thank you so much, Hope!”

About: 3 dog owner here, including a tripod. Two boys and a girl all came to us from people who could no longer care for them. Two were from former students and one from the husband of a colleague. I'm a full-time teacher and I also want to play with your dogs. My school hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I am happy to work out drop off, pick up, hang out time and potty breaks. My dogs have front and back fenced-in yards to hang out and run around. They are able to roam the house all day. They go on walks twice a day and we have recently incorporated logic toys to keep them sharp.
About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.
“We love when Jade is available to watch our two cats when we go out of town! Jade is comfortable administering oral medication and following complicated feeding schedules. We love her, only sitter we trust on this app! Do not hesitate to book Jade. ❤️❤️”

“Anna was very professional and very friendly with my dogs. She made an extra visit before I hire her so my dogs can get comfortable. I will definitely hire her again.”

“Liz is very responsive, which I greatly appreciate. I am glad to have found someone responsible who has a great attitude. It's awesome that this is her full time job, so I know she really cares about pets and has the time to dedicate to taking care of so many pets at once. I have built trust with her over my past two vacations and plan to continue utilizing her services in the future.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for 10 plus years. I have a sweet rescue dog of my own. I’ve volunteered with buckeye bulldog rescue helping foster dogs with all levels of need. I’ve taken care of rescues in home and at their kennel. I also have experience walking dogs for wag! I often pet sit for my friends and family and love taking in a new babies. I’m currently working part time and have time and so much love to give to your pet! I regularly walk my own sweet pup and take him to play with friends. Adding a fun new friend to the mix while you are busy will bring joy to my life! Pets are apart of the family. They get so much attention, playtime, and have full access to my apartment. It’s a pet friendly building and safe neighborhood. My frenchie loves all new friends!
“Aaron was easy to reach out to and communicative when it came to getting Stu’s booking together. Did a great job taking care of him and providing updates! Thank you!”

“Warisa was a very responsive and reliable sitter for our cat, Muffin. I really appreciated the picture updates -Muffin really seemed to be enjoying her time! Our trip got cut short but I would most definitely recommend Warisa to anyone and am planning to book her again the next time we are out of town.”

About: I have dog sat many of times and even trained to become a service dog volunteer. I have dog sat for a few month old puppies to 14 year old dogs. My days are flexible, I work from home and love taking walks around the neighborhood during lunch break and after work. I have a wood turtle that likes to keep to himself in the terrarium, and most dogs and cats don't even know he is there. When I am pet sitting, I plan events and out of home activities, so I am no more than 3-4 hours away from the animals. I am very attentive to dogs needs. We play inside and go on walks around the neighborhood or go to Palmer Square or Humboldt park. I stick strictly to dog owner schedule and make sure to send owner updates! I live in a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor so the dog would have to be ok mobility wise with stairs to and from the building.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Humboldt Park is $20

Kennedy is the best cat sitter! She has been watching my cat over the last couple years when we go on both long and short trips and always does a fantastic job. She is reliable and responsible, provides excellent notes and photos, and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her for all your cat sitting needs!

Grateful for Amanda's always responsible, informative, and detail-oriented care! She is kind to my kitties and to me. And she went and above and beyond in dealing with my beeping fire alarms that was low on batteries--taking it down, communicating with me, AND even communicating multiple times with my front desk staff. Thank you so much!!

Elyse went above and beyond taking care of my cat! She cleaned up an expected spill and followed all the care instructions. My pet cat also really seemed to like her and warmed up to her quickly, he was happy and healthy when I returned home from my weekend trip.

Megan was absolutely wonderful with LeeLu and Obi. She was so great with them during the Meet & Greet (Obi especially LOVED her). She shows she is committed as she came out to the meet and greet during a really bad thunderstorm! Despite the really hot and humid temps, she took my dogs out twice even though it was only a 30 minute drop in. I really appreciate and value her services. She is definitely top notch and I would hire her again!
