“Warisa was a very responsive and reliable sitter for our cat, Muffin. I really appreciated the picture updates -Muffin really seemed to be enjoying her time! Our trip got cut short but I would most definitely recommend Warisa to anyone and am planning to book her again the next time we are out of town.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

“Dilrose did a great job taking care of our little orange one. Our cat has three pills that she has to take every night and Dilrose was able to get them all down over the course of a weekend. Thankful for her!”

About: I have always grown up with multiple pets in our household. Hearing their barks or their paws on the floor always brings me such joy. I’ve cared for dogs for my family and neighbors for the past year. They trust me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away or if their work schedule conflicts with their routine, so I can do a drop-in. I am patient with shy dogs and even energetic, playful dogs. It's important to be attentive to each pet’s unique needs. My goal is to always make the pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their space while giving owners peace of mind. Every dog has a different energy regardless of their age or breed, so it is important for me to understand their personality and comforts so we can become great friends. I work part-time, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I am also a part-time student who is aiming for a career in animal care. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting on certain weekdays. I will also make sure that your pets stay on their normal routine with feeding, potty breaks, and playtime to avoid any stress. I am also available every other weekend at any time of the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I can provide a calm and pet-friendly environment where your dog(s) can feel safe and relaxed. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I will give your pet(s) plenty of attention, exercise, and love.
About: I grew up on a ranch for part of my life so I’ve worked with a variety of animals from snakes to long horns. I’m also a pet owner myself! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as multiple at a time. I’m a full-time student with in-person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so other than those days I’ll be with your fur baby working from home! I live in a pet friendly duplex building in Logan square with easy access to parks and lots of room for roaming and down time.

This was our first time using Cathleen for a drop-in with Gigi and it went great! Dogs know dog people and in every picture Gigi seems relaxed and very content! The pictures and updates we received were awesome and we were able to enjoy the event we were at stress-free because we knew Cathleen had Gigi taken care of. Thanks Cathleen, and we can’t wait for the next time we get to book you!

Lisa has twice cared for my 3 cats and I could not be happier with the results. She takes several pics of the cats each visit. She makes sure that they eat and take their medication. She keeps the litter boxes clean and water bowls filled. I feel comforted to know the cats are being well cared for when I'm not around.

Violet was an exceptional pet sitter with our two cats. She was very communicative and also very sweet and gentle with the kitties. One of our cats has to have oral meds given to her each morning and night, and Violet went above and beyond to make sure that she received the medication that she needed—even with our wiggly, energetic cat. By the end of the visit, it was clear from the photos that our cats trusted Violet and looked forward to seeing her. She was always on time and took care whatever we needed. Really happy we found Violet for our babies.

Thank you so much Jacey for taking care of my kitties!!!! Jacey took great care of my two fur babies. making sure they had fresh water and food and even cleaning their litter! I also really loved the reports I got from her. Tons of photos and details about them. well written too c:-)
