About: I've owned pets (both cats and dogs) since I was very young, including pets that required special care and medicine. We've owned multiple senior pets, having cared for them from puppy/kitten age through their senior years. Other than pets we have adopted at an older age, I have helped care for our pets throughout their entire life, starting from a couple of months of age. I would be able to help with pets that require medication or special care routines, as well as adjust to their activity levels. I also have experience as an assistant at a veterinary office, so I am comfortable working with animals in general, including larger breeds of dogs. I also have experience with pet sitting/house sitting for my friends and family on multiple occasions! I'm currently a graduate student at UIC, working on research in the areas of Chemical Biology and Synthetic Chemistry. During the week, I am usually on campus during the day in classes, meetings, lab, etc., but I am available to provide excellent service any day of the week. I would be able to perform morning, evening, and overnight services. I provide care in a manner that best suits your pet's needs. About: I am a lifetime dog owner, volunteer with Last Hope. I foster and rescue with PAWS. I volunteer for the animal program at The Nettlehorst School, and plan to open an animal sanctuary. I work part time and have flexible hours. I can meet almost any scheduling needs and will work with you to do what's best for you and your animal(s). My building has an indoor fenced dog park. I have an apartment with a large outdoor balcony. I will focus on your pet's safety above all else.
