About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and have pet sat for my uncle’s dogs, cats, and ferrets since I was young. I have experience with small and medium-sized dogs, including senior dogs, as my own dog is 14 years old. I understand the patience and extra care older pets need. I’m a huge animal lover, have attended pet expos for years, and even cared for a bearded dragon. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently a nursing student looking to earn some extra income while in school by doing something I truly enjoy—caring for animals. My current job only schedules me occasionally, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekdays and many weekends. I’m happy to work around your schedule to provide reliable, loving care for your pets. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, or just some extra attention while you’re away, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for every visit. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I treat every animal like they are my own by making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I walk my own dog almost daily, and on days when walks aren’t possible, I give her extra playtime and attention while respecting her limits as a senior pup! I always make sure she has fresh water, especially on hot days, and that she gets the care and companionship she needs. For drop-ins and walks, I will provide a safe environment, plenty of attention, and updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I grew with a 60lb English Bulldog who had a rambunctious spirit. With him I learned the special needs from particular breeds. Later I had a 5 lb Yorkie. She was a sweetheart that wanted nothing more than to be by your side. They were the best around. I am happy to walk your dog(s), run them in the yard, or spend time with them indoors to break up the time they spend alone. I’m also happy to stop by to feed your cats and give them some one on on time. I like to work within my community. It builds trust between both parties. I’m a college student continuing in the fall. My hours are flexible until then. While I don’t house your pets, I am able to tend to them in your home. I can check a litter box, handle feedings, play with them, and run them in your fenced yard. I’m happy to walk them through their neighborhood or to take them for long walks to a local park. We can tailor the visit to their specific needs.

About: Hello, my name is Hannah. I am a part time art instructor and online Art Therapy student. I prioritize attentiveness and timeliness in my teaching as well as dog walking and sitting. I love all animals, have dog walked locally on and off since I was in middle school, and have had a dog of my own for 10 years. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I am an active person and look forward to taking your pet on frequent walks, or even runs! I’m currently working part-time and attending online school, so I have a lot of availability for overnight dog sitting, as well as many walks and drop-ins throughout the day. Besides a few mid-day classes and teaching the occasional night class, my schedule allows me to be very flexible. I treat all pets the way I would want my own dog, Sailor, to be treated. About: I volunteered at PAWS Chicago, walked dogs at Chicago K9 Rescue, and lived and cared for a cat in the past. Super comfortable around animals. I’m a college student on break for the summer, so there isn’t much going on day to day; my schedule is very flexible. I will be patient with your pet and try to make things as comfortable as possible for him/her. I will also respect your home and any rules you set for your house.

About: Hi, I’m Vanessa! I’m currently in college but my family has been fostering dogs since I was in middle school, so I have experience with every kind of dog from 8-week puppies to older dogs to three legged ones! I currently have 2 rescues I help take care of and train, and love volunteering at animal shelters(Chicago Canine and Wright Way) in my free time, so I have a wide variety of experiences when it comes to caring for animals. Whether it be walking one dog or bathing a van load of puppies, I love spending time with all dogs!!!! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I’m available during the weekdays and most weekends, and my schedule is very flexible. I have experience with basic dog training classes, and my two dogs are both crate trained so I can follow any dogs schedule, strict or relaxed, and make sure they’re safe and comfortable. About: Hello! I'm a lifelong animal lover with extensive experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Throughout my life, I've shared my home with six dogs of my own and several foster dogs. Additionally, I have experience raising puppies, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with different needs and temperaments. Years ago, I worked in a veterinary clinic, where I gained hands-on experience caring for animals and assisting with their medical needs. Because of that experience, I am comfortable administering medications, including pills and injections, if needed. I currently work primarily from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. Your pet will never be left alone for more than six hours, and in most cases, they'll enjoy having me nearby throughout the day. I live in a single-family home with a secure fence around the whole property, giving dogs plenty of safe space to run, play, explore, and burn off energy. While many dogs are perfectly happy playing in the yard, I'm also happy to take dogs on walks upon request at no additional charge. I have my own dog, River, about half the time, as I share custody with my ex. River is wonderful with other dogs; her favorite thing is creating a "puppy pile" by curling up next to—or sometimes right on top of—whoever happens to be nearby. If your dog enjoys canine companionship, they'll likely have a new cuddle buddy. My love for animals extends beyond dogs. I adopted an elderly cat from a family friend who could no longer care for her, and I also adopted a turtle from a friend who moved.
