About: Hi there! My name is Nicky (he/they) and I’ve been taking care of pets for my neighbors, friends, and family members for upwards of a decade and am commonly regarded as the go-to sitter in my community. I strive to treat every pet (and owner) with the utmost respect and kindness, and I’ll follow your instructions to a T! (The T stands for toe beans 🤓) Currently unemployed due to layoffs in my industry, so I’ll be able to give your fur bestie as much attention as possible! I can do overnights, multiple nights in a row, or just a drop-in/walk; whatever you need - I got you! :) I have a fenced yard in front of my apartment complex so your fur bestie can run free and tire themselves out before beddybye! I can crate your pup if you provide one or they can get some shut-eye on the couch or wherever they’re comfy!
“Monica took wonderful care of our pets and home. We deeply appreciated the consistent photo updates and her attention to detail when it came to our pets. Would absolutely book her again!”

“Kelso was great. She was very responsive and communicative and our dog seemed quite happy and content when we returned. Bonus: she left the house clean and left her towels freshly laundered!”

“Josie was amazing with my cat! When she first met her my cat rolled on her back which she never does for people! Josie sent photos throughout my trip and checked in and communicated super well. My house was definitely cleaner than I left it when I got back!”

“Joanna was great with our puppy! She gave her lots of walks, playtime, and kept great company. We had lots of updates with pictures and video to know how our dog was doing, and we were always able to reach out to her. Highly recommended!”

“We had an amazing experience with Megan! She stayed at our house for a week with our two dogs and took incredible care of everything! She sent updates and it was easy to see how happy my dogs were with her. It was such a relief to trust that she had everything taken care of back home while I was out of town, I highly recommend her!”

“Loren is so wonderful with our dog while we are away. She is responsive and sends updates! We are able to enjoy some vacation knowing that our doggo is in good hands withe Loren!”

“Nicholas is hands‑down the best dog sitter my wife and I have ever had on Rover. Truly exceptional. He isn’t just dependable and courteous — he treats our dog with a level of care, enthusiasm, and commitment that blew us away. Our dog has literally walked farther with Nicholas than with anyone else. His average walks were over two hours, and he kept our pup happy, stimulated, and joyfully exhausted every single time. We were amazed by his dedication. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and our dog absolutely adored him. I honestly can’t put into words how incredible Nicholas was. Thank you, Nicholas — you set the bar unbelievably high.”

“Andrew did a great job with updating us on how our pets were doing. Kratos seemed to enjoy his company. Overall very satisfied with his care and Andrew went above and beyond what we asked of him.”

“Andrea was great with our pup! She kept him company while we were away and he was always happy to see her. We received many updates and pics and will definitely be using her in the future.”

About: I’ve shared my life with dogs for as long as I can remember — from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I have worked with dogs of different temperaments and am happy to accommodate anything that makes your pup feel safe and confident. I understand their different personalities, routines, and little quirks that make each one special. Whether your pup needs long walks, energetic playtime, or calm company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. Think of me as their second-best friend when you can’t be there! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have ample time and love spending it with animals. I’m flexible throughout the day, so I can give pets the attention, walks, feeding, and playtime they need without rushing. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I make it a priority in my schedule every day and week. I am happy to work with you for what suits your needs! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I give them plenty of attention and affection, and I always keep the home tidy and secure during my visits. I also send regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.
“Renee was excellent with my dogs on most fronts with only a couple of issues. She went above and beyond when one of them got an ear infection- taking him to the vet, even had her mom drive him which was amazing, she was generally very communicative and meticulous with their care. She even washed them and cleaned up before leaving. The issue i had with her majorly was the lack of any walks in the first 4 days of care. That's too long of a duration to go without walks. This did seem like a consequence of extenuating circumstances for her so I wouldn't characterize that as her caregiver personality. I do however think having big dogs with no walk time for 4 consecutive days is unacceptable as a general rule. She was extremely apologetic and explained her situation to me. She was regular with walks after I reiterated that only yard time is not ok, she needs to walk them daily and not just give them yard time. She left my house very clean and even gave my dogs baths before leaving, a completely unexpected kindness. Despite the hiccups I think she is a very caring and meticulous dog sitter.”

“Stephanie is amazing! She watched our two dogs and cat at our home over the Christmas holiday. We were thrilled with the care that she provided our fur babies and the detailed and delightful updates she sent us. I was worried about leaving one of our dogs due to her separation anxiety issues, but Stephanie quickly developed a bond with her, as well as the other animals. We had peace of mind knowing that our pets/home were in great hands with lots of cuddles and playtime. We will definitely use Stephanie again for any out of town trip!”

“Stephanie stayed with our dog, Louie, for 12 days while we were in Italy. She did a wonderful job! She kept us updated each day with pictures and messages, and Louie seemed very happy and content. He even had a bit of anxiety the first few days, and Stephanie kept us in the loop and let us know as soon as he calmed down and settled in. She left our house in great condition. We can’t wait to have her back!”

“Mary was great taking care of my two dogs. Feeding, playing and administrating medicine. She sent frequent updates. She is kind and a animal lover. Will definitely reach back out for her help.”

“Very pleased with Mackenzie’s care taking skills and cleanliness with my home while I was away. She’s communicative, observes my pup’s routine, and respects my property. Will hire her again!”

“Emma was amazing with our somewhat needy toy poodle! Our puppy was depressed that we left and would not eat or sleep well the first couple days, but Emma went way out of her way to encourage her until she was more comfortable…and within a few days, our puppy did much better! Communication from Emma was frequent and clear and she did a great job problem-solving with us at a distance! Would use her again in a heartbeat!”

“Jo went well above and beyond while house sitting with our pup. Our senior dog had become a bit anxious with summer thunderstorms (and was probably sad to be separated from his little brother for our trip), but Jo picked up some extra supplies from her home. She distracted him with enrichment games, like a snuffle mat and licking pad. And of course gave him lots of good love along the way. Like many other reviews noted, she took good care of our home leaving it cleaner than she found it.”

Edison Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Stephanie is truly exceptional. This was our first time entrusting all four of our pets and our home to someone else, and she exceeded every expectation. From the very first interaction through the entire stay, she was consistently available, highly responsive, and incredibly thorough with her updates. What impressed us most was how quickly our pets felt at ease—something that speaks volumes about her care, attention, and natural connection with animals. She earned not only their trust, but ours as well. Stephanie delivers a level of professionalism and peace of mind that is simply outstanding. We cannot recommend her highly enough, and we will absolutely check her availability before planning any future trips.

Jo is just a great person. Period. She always goes above and beyond in caring for and entertaining our dogs, whether it’s bringing over her best enrichment toys or finding our dog’s favorite Real Housewives franchise to watch together. For this house sitting, Jo watched our newer puppy for the first time. He can be vocally reactive on walks and has some unique methods for managing his behavior. For Jo, it was no sweat. And during this house stay, my husband and I happened to be in Puerto Vallarta during the recent cartel rampage. Not only did Jo make sure that our doggos would be cared for regardless of when we made it back to the States, but she also made a genuine effort to check in on our general well-being. Like I said, she’s just a great person.

Christina did a great job taking care of Cubby while we were away for a weekend. She kept us updated with photos and updates of feeding and bathroom breaks. She has also been doing excellent work with drop-ins during the week. We highly recommend Christina and we’ll continue our partnership with her as long as we can!

Emma took excellent care of Ruby (and our house) while we were away. She communicated extremely well and kept us updated so we knew Ruby was well taken care of. She even watered our plants for us too. We would recommend Emma to anyone who needs a trusted, communicative dog sitter.

Add did a good job as a sitter taking care of our senior dog with lots of anxiety. She was a good companion for him, especially for overnight stays. This was a much better experience for him than the last drop-off sitter we used. Ann took care of our house and followed most of our instructions very well.
