I worked as a dog walker for a local service for about 18 months, providing daily walks and in-home vacation care — including overnight stays — for clients. On top of that, I spent 10 years volunteering at animal shelters, so I've handled dogs of every size, age, and temperament. I follow your feeding, medication, and walking instructions exactly, double-check the collar and leash before every walk, and never let a dog off-leash outside. Because I specialize in selective and reactive dogs, I plan my routes to avoid other dogs and cross the street early rather than risk a close encounter. I keep doors locked, leave your home just as I found it, and send photo updates after every visit. Before any vacation care, I'll ask for your vet's information and emergency contacts so I'm prepared for anything.

About: I have about 15 years of pet care, not just with my own pets, but as a dog walker, a pet sitter, and a rescuer. I have experience with dogs and cats! As someone who believes that animal rights are super integral, I tried to go above and beyond for the animals in my neighborhood, even rescuing, squirrels and raccoons to make sure that they have a fighting chance of survival. In addition, I have experience with special-needs animals as well. I know how to administer insulin, do different kinds of oral medication’s, and even eardrops. Lastly, my experience ranges from puppies and kitties all the way to our senior puppies (older dogs never stop being our puppies). Pet care is ingrained into every part of my life. Mainly because I have my own pets, so everything from waking up early to take them out, to feedings and making sure that they get enough playtime! In terms of how I fit into your life, I do have a very flexible schedule as I’m an independent contractor, so I do have more flexibility. I love an early morning of dog walking, so for any early birds, I’m your girl! I’m someone who believes that there are fundamentals for all care and those need to be followed but I also understand that a lot of pets have specialized care. For example, I have a wobbly cat so everything from how she goes potty where she gets to hang out and how she gets her food is very specific because she has a disability. I am open to Pat who might need some specialized care or need medication. As I have the experience of dealing with pets who might need a little bit of extra care! I also try my absolute best to make sure that my environment fits the needs of a pet so that they can feel comfortable and feel like they are right at home.
