I’m currently staying close to home to take care of my mother, so your pet will never be left alone. I will have time to walk or check up on your pets however often is needed as well. About: I have over 20 years of experience as a dog owner, having cared for my Yorkie for 17 years. Currently, I have two Yorkiepoos of my own and often take care of my sister's pit bulls. In addition, I have extensive experience dog-sitting for all sorts of sizes, ages, and needs—from rescue dogs to puppies and senior dogs. I also have experience caring for cats. I understand how important it is to have a trustworthy and caring person looking after your pet, especially when plans are last minute. Having been in that position myself, I am confident that I can provide the care and attention your beloved four-legged family members deserve. I am patient, flexible, caring and have dog and cat training experience, since I grew up with pets of all kinds. I have experience with both large and small dog breeds. I’m flexible with whatever the needs are of your animal and will treat your dog/cat like our own plus accommodate as necessary. “I always trust my animals with Amanda when my husband and I go out of town. She has taken care of our 2 elderly dogs that required a lot of care. She gave them their medicine exactly as stated, and even took pictures of them to send to us while we were away! Since our dogs were elderly, they needed to be walked more frequently to prevent accidents in the house and she would come multiple times a day! Amanda has since also taken care of our 2 cats, making sure their litter was changed and they had food and water in their bowls. She also spends a little time with them providing enrichment and love. We will continue to use Amanda’s services whenever we go out of town! We can tell that she truly is a pet lover and is very respectful in our space. Plus side - she also watered our plants (indoor and outdoor) while we were on vacation!”
