About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I grew with a 60lb English Bulldog who had a rambunctious spirit. With him I learned the special needs from particular breeds. Later I had a 5 lb Yorkie. She was a sweetheart that wanted nothing more than to be by your side. They were the best around. I am happy to walk your dog(s), run them in the yard, or spend time with them indoors to break up the time they spend alone. I’m also happy to stop by to feed your cats and give them some one on on time. I like to work within my community. It builds trust between both parties. I’m a college student continuing in the fall. My hours are flexible until then. While I don’t house your pets, I am able to tend to them in your home. I can check a litter box, handle feedings, play with them, and run them in your fenced yard. I’m happy to walk them through their neighborhood or to take them for long walks to a local park. We can tailor the visit to their specific needs.

About: I volunteered at PAWS Chicago, walked dogs at Chicago K9 Rescue, and lived and cared for a cat in the past. Super comfortable around animals. I’m a college student on break for the summer, so there isn’t much going on day to day; my schedule is very flexible. I will be patient with your pet and try to make things as comfortable as possible for him/her. I will also respect your home and any rules you set for your house.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve cared for and walked all types of dogs, from small breeds to large dogs up to 80 pounds, old and young. Friends, family and neighbors trust me because I have a calm, caring energy that dogs naturally respond to. I’m dependable, loving and treat every pet as if they were my own. I am currently retired and home most of the time, so your pet will receive lots of attention, affection and frequent walks. I truly treat every fur baby as if they were my own. I live in an apartment, so walks and outdoor breaks are frequent. When house sitting, I always follow the owner’s instructions to keep pets comfortable and routines consistent.

About: Hi, I’m Vanessa! I’m currently in college but my family has been fostering dogs since I was in middle school, so I have experience with every kind of dog from 8-week puppies to older dogs to three legged ones! I currently have 2 rescues I help take care of and train, and love volunteering at animal shelters(Chicago Canine and Wright Way) in my free time, so I have a wide variety of experiences when it comes to caring for animals. Whether it be walking one dog or bathing a van load of puppies, I love spending time with all dogs!!!! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I’m available during the weekdays and most weekends, and my schedule is very flexible. I have experience with basic dog training classes, and my two dogs are both crate trained so I can follow any dogs schedule, strict or relaxed, and make sure they’re safe and comfortable. I am patient, flexible, caring and have dog and cat training experience, since I grew up with pets of all kinds. I have experience with both large and small dog breeds. I’m flexible with whatever the needs are of your animal and will treat your dog/cat like our own plus accommodate as necessary.
