About: I am a dog lover who would love to watch over your pet while you’re gone. I have a house in Norwood Park where dogs have free range to roam about and a large fenced in backyard to explore. I am self employed and spend a good amount of time at home. I love dogs & want to use our space to welcome fun visitors! I am home most of the day & am able to let dogs outside & go for walks frequently. If I do need to leave, dogs have free range of the house to explore.

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

While I do not offer in-home boarding, I provide dependable drop-ins and walks tailored to your dog’s needs. I live with my own dog, Sam, who is reactive to other animals, so I cannot bring pets into my home — but this also means I understand how to work calmly and respectfully with dogs that may need space or structure. I’m confident handling leash reactivity, high-energy dogs, and special instructions.

I ensure they remain securely leashed, closely supervise their surroundings, and only allow interactions with people or other animals if you've given permission. Whether I'm stopping by for a drop-in visit, taking your dog for a walk, or providing overnight care, I'll treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
