“Shante helped me out when I was in a pinch and realized with short notice that I needed a dog walker. She was very responsive and from the pictures looked like my pup loved his time with her! I will definitely use Shante for future walks.”

“Adriana is amazing and I’m very thankful she was able to accept my walk request on such short notice. My puppy was a little nervous but warmed up quickly to her.”

“Josephine is the sweetest, this is my first time using the service and she helped me to make sure I was doing everything on my end correctly and Niko immediately took a liking to her as soon as them met. I would definitely rebook with her again! It was such a last minute request and I’m so thankful she was able to assis!”

About: I’ve owned dogs from 6lb to 120lb, cared for sick and elderly dogs (including IVDD, experienced with medications including fluids via IV), loved dogs of all kinds my entire life! Your dogs will need to get along with my 2, and you can expect walks in fenced Warren Park, frequent potty breaks, and photo updates from me. We are dachshund lovers so we have stairs and ramps all over the house so the shortest pups can safely reach couches and beds. My partner Ben is a big help, and we would love to know everything about your precious pup’s personality to make sure they feel right at home with us and make the transition smooth. Hope to meet you and your furry one soon. I work part time and remotely. Weekends are hit and miss, but Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri are open for dog care! Wed/Sat/Sun are dependent on current schedule. Any Qs, shoot me a message! My friendly pups will socialize with yours, and both are great at napping all day, too. Our potty breaks are every 2-4 hours, or sooner if your pup has special needs. We have a potty bell here, so if you use it at home you’re in luck (and Finn has been known to teach younger pups this skill). We walk daily a 1-mile loop in fenced Warren park, if that’s something your dog enjoys.
About: Have pet-sitted for friends and family on a near weekly basis for years, caring for the biggest to the smallest the animal kingdom has to offer us nature lovers! No two are the same and that's what makes it an adventure each day! To witness the adorable and fascinating personalities of these beautiful beasts is a gift! And every walking pup gets a smile from me and you can bet your dollar I want to give each other their daily scratches, if I'm allowed of course! 😁 Both my girlfriend and I work from home and are able to step away to care for, and dedicate time to, whatever your little one may require - including getting their random, afternoon zoomies out! Your animal will not go without attention, in fact, they may get used to TOO MUCH attention within our care! 😅 We have a fenced in courtyard for safety and live directly across from a school so our neighborhood is calm and quiet! We also have access to two nearby vets in case of emergency! Plus, given that both my girlfriend and I work from home 5 days a week, your pet will never be left alone as someone will always have eyes on them.
“I was just saying the same thing over and over again, but if you want trustworthy Dog Walker, who has exceptional communication skills that to mention my dog is madly in love with him and cries when he leaves. This is the person to hire.”

“Houston treats Hank like he is her own dog. Hank is always calm and happy after she takes care of him. i couldn't do my job without her valuable and reliable help!”

About: I'm a playful and fun friend to animals of all kinds! While this app is focused on dogs and cats, I have expeirence with reptiles as well. I'm cool under pressure and can handle hectic environments. The wildest experience I've had was with 3 grown dogs, 8 puppies, and a cat. Best weekend of my life. I have one regular client in the mornings, Mon-Wed. outside of that, I tend to prefer about 5+ days' notice for sits, 2+ for drop-is & walks. I can be flexible when my schedule allows 👍🏾 I'm adaptable and can adopt whatever schedules and routines you specify for your pets. I know it's good for dogs to get some exercise, so I'll play with them as much as I can. (a win-win since it's also good cardio for me!) If they're good with other dogs, we'll go to the dog park! With cats, I find it's best to follow their lead to an extent. I'm observant and will get a good idea of their boundaries quickly.
About: I’m a lifelong cat lover with five years of cat experience, including a little baby girl of my own. My goal with every cat I care for is to treat them with the same love and care. I am confident in pill administration, flea and tick treatment, and well-versed in harness/leash training for extra enrichment. I’m a to-the-letter schedule follower for all things your baby needs, and happy to also provide light housework and plant care. I’m a substitute teacher throughout the school year, so my time is currently very flexible! I make sure my own cat is fed and loved on twice a day, pairing meal times with play and petting. If the weather is nice, Aquavit can be put in her harness and come out on the fire escape with me to sniff the big wide world while I water the plants. I try to make sure pet care is prioritised at mealtimes, but also integrated throughout the day. When I’m with your cat, you can expect the same level of care and attention, tailored to your cat’s needs! Aquavit hungers for my phone charger, so I always make sure that power cords are tucked away or unplugged as needed. Open containers and human food are similarly tidied— to me home care and pet care go hand in hand. I’ll always be neat, both out of respect for your home, and to protect your furry baby.

About: Hello! My name is Gia and I am a teacher, but I enjoy in my spare time caring for my pets and friends and family’s pets. I love spending time with animals, particularly dogs and cats. I have experience for a time walking dogs professionally in the downtown area of Chicago prior to my work as a teacher. Friends and family alike call me the animal whisperer. I seem to have a calming presence that people and pets gravitate to, and they in turn are such a joy to be around! Reliable, hardworking, and caring I believe I am a good fit for your pet care needs. Hope to hear from you soon and looking forward to meeting your loves! Hope our day is going well!-Gia
“Victoria has been a great help walking our Dwayne daily while my partner has been recovering from a surgery. She is very reliable and communicates well and clearly is very comfortable handling our big dog. We are so glad to be able to rely on Victoria during this time.”

“Elias was very accommodating. I had a last-minute cancellation, and he quickly arranged a meet-and-greet followed by a dog walk the next day. He was very sweet with my dogs, who warmed up to him right away. The walk went great, and communication with Elias was easy and smooth!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life. I grew up looking after our family dog and helping with neighbors’ pets, and in my 20s and early 30s I regularly sat for, fostered, and checked in on friends’ and community members’ animals—mostly dogs and cats, with the occasional bird, frog, or turtle. I adopted my own cat in my 30s and have lived with multiple pets while sharing homes with roommates. While much of this care was informal, it gave me a wide range of hands-on experience. After a particularly rewarding role walking dogs for a company from 2022 to 2023, I began freelancing and now work with clients through community referrals. I’m just getting back into freelance pet care after taking time off over the past couple of years to recover from injuries, and I’m really looking forward to being active in this work again. My schedule is currently quite flexible as I rebuild my client base, which allows me to accommodate a range of needs. I’d love the chance to meet your pets and provide attentive, reliable care. Take care! When I’m pet sitting or doing drop-in visits, I start by confirming the schedule and any specific needs or routines for your pet. From there, I focus on being both thorough and present—making sure all daily care is handled carefully while also spending quality time with them. I approach each visit with genuine affection and attention, so your pet feels safe, cared for, and well-loved while you’re away.

Michelle was the absolute best with my girl Lou. She was communicative, timely, and sent lots of photos. She also was accompanying if I had sudden schedule changes. I could tell she took the time to earn my dog’s trust, and she was so excited to see Michelle each time. Would highly recommendb

Amelia has truly been the best dog walker! Always on time, if not a few minutes early, communicative, and lots of wonderful photos and detailed updates! Rango is always really excited to go on walks with her and returns home content with his adventures out with Amelia. Your friend will be in great hands with Amelia -we cannot cannot recommend her enough!

Madison is very sweet with our girl and super responsive. She has great communication with us and sends perfect updates and pics. She even helped us out when we had a last minute time change and a rain storm. We appreciate her very much and will confine to use her services.

Maya was delightful from start to finish. We had a last minute booking which she accommodated with no stress. I’m recovering from a surgery so I needed her for 4 walks a day for 3 days. She showed up on time every time and was so positive and full of good energy every time. She was also very amenable to a few time changes I needed to make. She’s very sweet with my pups and I will most definitely work with her again.
