Our guy is pretty anxious (separation and in general), to the degree that we couldn't even hand him over to someone to try a temperament test at an open boarding/daycare place. Joerg and Lake have been willing to work with us on gradually desensitizing him - giving him space and time to get used to them and their pup Lizzie at his own pace. They have a system for slowly introducing new dogs to their space, themselves, and Lizzie which really worked! After first doing a meet and greet in a park, a week later we did a 6 hour daycare session which exceeded my hopes - he allowed Joerg and Lake to handle him / pick him up (something no stranger has managed to do since we got him 5.5 months ago), and went on walks with Lizzie with no issues. Very pleased with how things went, and how kind and communicative Joerg was throughout. We will definitely be booking some more sessions to hopefully work our way up to boarding in future!”

She is a German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees Mix. She is the sweetest thing in the world but she has a lot of anxiety. She is in every single way the perfect dog. About: I’ve owned dogs from 6lb to 120lb, cared for sick and elderly dogs (including IVDD, experienced with medications including fluids via IV), loved dogs of all kinds my entire life! Your dogs will need to get along with my 2, and you can expect walks in fenced Warren Park, frequent potty breaks, and photo updates from me. We are dachshund lovers so we have stairs and ramps all over the house so the shortest pups can safely reach couches and beds. My partner Ben is a big help, and we would love to know everything about your precious pup’s personality to make sure they feel right at home with us and make the transition smooth. Hope to meet you and your furry one soon. I work part time and remotely. Weekends are hit and miss, but Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri are open for dog care! Wed/Sat/Sun are dependent on current schedule. Christian was an angel and so patient with my baby when he unexpectedly got sick while I was away. He regularly updated me with how he was doing and accommodated his needs. Both sitters immediately put me at ease by taking the time to meet Rizzo beforehand and allowing us to visit their home before his stay. “Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

“This was our first time using Rover for boarding and I’m so glad we found Michelle. We did an initial meet and greet and she mentioned was well experienced with handling puppies. She’s gone through training and works for a vet. I was worried because our 7 month puppy can be jumpy and overly excited, but still learning and training and overall a good dog. Michelle had no worries caring for him after that meet and greet. Michelle was extra communicative throughout boarding and sending updates and photos. Our pup Hank seemed to love boarding, her pup and senior dog, and son. We love how our puppy got extra socialization time in and playtime with her puppy. Loki her puppy vibed well with our dog. Overall highly recommend Michelle for boarding and will be our go to for any future needs.”
