“As always, Shante is an awesome cat sitter! She sends great updates on our cat, and I appreciate knowing that she’s in extremely capable hands when I’m out of town.”

“Liz is the absolute best. She has already supported us in training our dog to cope with his separation anxiety, and she checked in on our cats every day while we were out of town. Liz sent lots of photos and communicated clearly and consistently. She really understands animals. We hope to continue booking Liz for a long time to come!”
“I cannot recommend Dimitri highly enough! He took amazing care of my cat, Tuna, while I was away for two weeks and truly went above and beyond in every way. He was incredibly attentive to Tuna’s needs and made sure she was comfortable, happy, and well cared for throughout my trip. He spent extra time with her when she needed company, made additional visits to open the window when the room got too warm, and was always thoughtful about her comfort and well-being. Dimitri was also excellent with communication. He kept me updated regularly, sent detailed messages, and gave me peace of mind knowing Tuna was in such good hands. He administered her medications reliably and on time, cleaned up accumulated pet hair, and kept her space tidy and comfortable. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the pets he looks after. I came home to a happy, healthy cat, and I am so grateful for the care and attention he provided. I would absolutely trust him with Tuna again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and dedicated pet sitter.”

“Parisa is fabulous! We trust her with our pet rabbits whenever we travel. We know our babies are safe and in good hands. We have had emergency situations when travelling and she went above and beyond to help us. She is simply the best!”

“Ellie was excellent! Felt very comfortable having her in my home, and she took great care of my cat, Holden. She was great about sending updates and photos, and stayed in touch when she ran into any issues.”

“Houston took the time to stop by before I departed for vacation, and established an immediate rapport with George. I felt comfortable that he was in good hands. Updates were regularly provided. I would certainly book with Houston again!”

About: I’ve owned dogs from 6lb to 120lb, cared for sick and elderly dogs (including IVDD, experienced with medications including fluids via IV), loved dogs of all kinds my entire life! Your dogs will need to get along with my 2, and you can expect walks in fenced Warren Park, frequent potty breaks, and photo updates from me. We are dachshund lovers so we have stairs and ramps all over the house so the shortest pups can safely reach couches and beds. My partner Ben is a big help, and we would love to know everything about your precious pup’s personality to make sure they feel right at home with us and make the transition smooth. Hope to meet you and your furry one soon. I work part time and remotely. Weekends are hit and miss, but Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri are open for dog care! Wed/Sat/Sun are dependent on current schedule. Any Qs, shoot me a message! My friendly pups will socialize with yours, and both are great at napping all day, too. Our potty breaks are every 2-4 hours, or sooner if your pup has special needs. We have a potty bell here, so if you use it at home you’re in luck (and Finn has been known to teach younger pups this skill). We walk daily a 1-mile loop in fenced Warren park, if that’s something your dog enjoys.
“Anana was brilliant. She sent goofy pics of our little orange boy. There was an issue with our door and she worked with us to work through it. She communicated well and is very reliable. Thank you so much Anana!”

About: Hello! My name is Gia and I am a teacher, but I enjoy in my spare time caring for my pets and friends and family’s pets. I love spending time with animals, particularly dogs and cats. I have experience for a time walking dogs professionally in the downtown area of Chicago prior to my work as a teacher. Friends and family alike call me the animal whisperer. I seem to have a calming presence that people and pets gravitate to, and they in turn are such a joy to be around! Reliable, hardworking, and caring I believe I am a good fit for your pet care needs. Hope to hear from you soon and looking forward to meeting your loves! Hope our day is going well!-Gia
About: Hi! I have a flexible schedule and love being able to structure my days around care work. As a social worker, I’m reliable, attentive, and calm in all kinds of situations. If my calendar doesn’t line up, message me anyway – I’m usually happy to try to make it work. I’m a lifelong caretaker (former teacher, child care provider, babysitter, and current servant to four cats). I grew up with dogs and have experience with everyone from wildly energetic puppies to senior pups who need a slower pace and extra patience. I’m very comfortable with pet quirks. Food warmed for exactly two seconds? Specific petting rules? Emotional support hair tie? I get it. As a cat mom, nothing surprises me. Whether your pet wants long walks, playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they’re safe, loved, and very well looked after. I have the most availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I also have some AM and PM availability so it’s easy for me to fit pet care into my day. When I’m caring for pets in my client’s home, I do my best to follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they get the right amount of food, playtime, walks, and attention based on their needs and personality. I also like to check in with photo or text updates so you know how they’re doing.
“Sarma was great! This was my first time using Rover and Sarma was great at helping me navigate through it. She was great with Zoey and I appreciated the communication throughout. Overall great experience, thank you!”

About: Hi, I'm Kit! As a long-time animal lover with two little cats of my own, I'm more than happy to watch your pet(s) while you're away. My rates are accurate! As I'm new to Rover, I'm hoping to start growing a referral base. I've been a volunteer at animal shelters since high school, and because of that, I understand that every dog and cat has a unique personality and routine. I've gained experience with feeding and play routines, socialization, and recognizing signs of stress or illness. Whether your pet is playful and social, or shy and independent, I'm ready to adapt to their needs. I’ll make sure your baby(s) get plenty of love, attention, and playtime, and update you with all the best of it so you can travel with peace of mind! I am employed full-time in the loop. Monday through Friday, I'll be in the office from 9-5, but my early mornings and evenings belong to your pet(s)! On weekends, I'll be happy to accommodate any time you'd like. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. Since every animal has different needs and routines, I take the time to carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and household rules. No one knows your baby(s) like you! For drop-in visits and overnight stays, I aim to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while they’re away. During walks, your pet(s) safety is my top priority. I stay alert to the environment, avoid unsafe situations and interactions, and ensure your pet(s) are secure at all times. My goal is to treat every home respectfully and every pet like they’re my own!
About: I've had a dog since I was ten years old. I've grown up dog sitting and walking dogs with my family and on my own. I fostered a dog on my own during COVID for 8 months until she could find her forever home. I'll be working part time during the day and evenings. I can walk dogs in the morning and afternoons and board during the weekends with frequent play time and walks during the day. Regular walks, always having water available for the dog. It's important to always keep an eye on the dog to ensure they're safe and happy. Keeping dangerous food/things out of reach and generally just being aware at all times and regular play to ensure happiness and comfortability.
“Brenda is amazing and leads with kindness and care for my cat! My cat is typically shy and reserved around new people but quickly warmed up to Brenda. Will be booking again for sure!”

“Emily demonstrated so much empathy for my geriatric cat. She met him where he was, and he responded to her well. When I returned from my vacation, he wasn't needy or anxious -- just gave me a look like, "you were gone?" That really says it all. Emily takes great care. And her daily progress reports gave me peace of mind while away. Thank you!”

“Great with cats!! Emilia was incredible! She was patient and kind with our cats. She checked in everyday with photos and updates. She was very pleasant and I enjoyed our conversation as well. Thank you, Emilia! :)”

After a last minute change in plans, Sam was such an awesome find to come check on our cat, Ophelia. We loved getting updates and pictures from her visits and she was so so easy to communicate with. Cannot thank her enough and definitely recommend if you need someone to care for your furry friends!

Melanie is very professional and detail oriented. She gave thorough updates and provided lots of photos, and made me feel very comfortable. She clearly knows what to do to provide cats with the best care possible. She also has previous nursing experience that helped me feel especially comfortable with my senior cat with some medical conditions. Would rebook!

Parisa was an amazing caretaker for my two cats while I was away. She was responsive and diligent and was unafraid to ask questions. Our senior cat was having some health issues at the time and required special care including special food and meds. Parisa handled this extremely well and kept us updated which helped to lessen our anxiety.

Brittany has been looking after our kitties for over 3 years now! She will always be the first person we reach out to, her care and love towards the cats is apparent and we can tell how comfortable they feel in the bond they have built with her! Not enough words to recommend Brittany!!

Melanie took wonderful care of Uno! She is reliable, dependable, responsible, and experienced. I felt completely at ease knowing Uno was in her care. She is trustworthy, caring, and kept me updated throughout. I highly recommend Melanie and will definitely book with her again!
