“Ellie was very prompt and on time for our initial couple of meetings and the drop in as well. She did very well with our 4 crazy kids and we will use her services again in the future.”
“Liz is the best! My two furkids love her, and she always keeps me informed on how they’re doing. It’s very reassuring while you’re away knowing that your kiddos are not only in good hands, but in the hands of someone you know really cares for them. Highly recommend!”

“Shante was very understanding of Dexter’s situation and was very informative & knowledgeable on how to care for him. Definitely recommend using Shante to care for your cats! I’m so happy Dexter has a new friend!”

“Parisa was wonderful with my sweet baby while I was gone. She is so good with cats. She also kept me updated, sent me pictures and when I got back I found my place to be still in order and the litter box to be very clean! I will definitely be asking her back!”

“Morgan checked in on our cats and they loved her! I appreciated knowing they were getting care and attention and treats. She was good about communication and directions on where things are, etc. Would definitely ask her to watch them again!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. My best friend Murphy, and before that Cricket and Benji. I love dogs and cats, and I am quick to form bonds with them. Whether that be with friends/family, or my years taking care of the neighborhood pets while their families were out of town. I have plenty of experience with animals of all age groups and sizes. I have a special fondness for older doggies, and understand that they may require some extra care and love. My only schedule constraints are my full-time undergrad classes, but my classes are spaced out throughout the day. If we talk through a schedule beforehand I can almost always make it work. I’m very patient with dogs, and I understand that unfamiliar faces can be scary for them—especially when their parents are away. I give lots of love, and I am experienced with positive reinforcement training. I never get mad or upset, and I’ve learned that my emotions often influence theirs. Your pets are your heart, I completely understand that. I’ll treat them like the precious parts of your lives that they are.

“Thomas did an incredible job watching my mischievous kittens. He took their shenanigans in stride like a pro while I was out of town. I could rest assured that they were fed entertained and cared for. I would definitely consider Thomas in the future.”

“faith went above and beyond taking care of my kitties while i was on vacation! she made sure to send lots of cute photos and did all that was asked of her! I didn't feel nervous at all knowing they were in such good hands. would definitely hire again!!! :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds and size's. Friends, neighbors, and family often rely on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets while they’re away. I’m comfortable with senior dogs, energetic puppies, and pets with special routines. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight care, I always treat every pet like my own. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide morning, midday, and evening visits during the week. Weekends are open for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m responsible, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands. I live in a pet-friendly apartment that’s clean, safe, and comfortable for your furry friend. I take frequent walks and make sure pets get plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day. I’m very mindful of leash safety, secure entrances, and keeping pets calm in new environments. Whether your dog loves outdoor strolls or prefers cozy naps, I make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for.
“I was really nervous about leaving my pug Maui with a pet sitter because the last time I boarded him at a kennel, he unfortunately lost his eye. After reading all of Eli’s positive reviews, I decided to give him a chance, and I’m so glad I did. Eli was amazing. He was super responsive, very on top of everything, and truly cared about Maui. You can tell he takes what he does seriously and wants both the pets and owners to feel comfortable. Maui absolutely loved him! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Maui was in good hands. I would definitely use Eli again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. 🐾”

“Raya was lovely and helped me out in a last minute need for a drop-in and medication for my cat. Easy to communicate with and did a great job. Definitely keeping her in mind for future needs!”

“Coral went above and beyond as a pet sitter. She was friendly, kind, patient, and paid a great amount of attention and effort to taking care of our pet as her own. Her expertise with a wide range of cats including seniors was very important to my selection of her and it's apparent she loves our pet and isn't merely doing the minimum. She made full use of her time with Kirby by being efficient with administering medicine, cleaning, feeding, and always making time to play with him over three days and followed a consistent schedule. She also thoughtfully brought in our packages. Her communication is stellar and I am very comfortable having her in my home and handling my pet. You'd be lucky to get her services!”

“Kit was incredibly thoughtful and made sure to ask me questions about my pets’ needs that hadn’t even occurred to me to share. She sent lots of pictures and updates on my cats throughout my trip so I knew they were well taken care of. Could not recommend her more!!”

“This is the fourth time we’ve had Brenda watch our cats. She has been professional reliable, and responses. We will definitely be having her watch the cats again; thanks Brenda.!”

About: I’ve been working with animals professionally since I was 19 — I’m now 27. Over the years, I’ve worked as a vet assistant, a professional groomer, and at a pet store, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. These days, my main focus is boarding, walking, and house sitting — and it’s something I genuinely love doing. What sets my care apart is the family-style experience I offer. When your dog stays with me, they aren’t just being watched — they’re becoming part of our daily life. It’s usually me, my young son, and my partner Brian. We go on nature walks, play outside, and include your dog in everything like they’re part of the crew. This isn’t just pet sitting — it’s a second home. I’ve found that so many dogs (and their humans) are looking for that feeling of safety, love, and belonging — even if they haven’t put it into words yet. That’s exactly what I try to create here. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — including shy rescues, high-energy pups, and seniors. I’m trained in animal behavior, have my own vehicle, and can adapt to your dog’s specific needs and temperament. 🚗 Please note: For boarding in my home, dogs must be comfortable around kids and okay with cats, since we do have both. I want everyone (human and animal) to feel safe and relaxed. Whether your pup needs playtime, quiet time, cuddles, or space, I always meet them where they are — with patience, love, and respect. I work from home part time, so your fur baby will fit in perfectly with my schedule. I am looking for something to do that will occupy more of my time, and what better way than to spend it with a new furry friend to love?! I have a fenced yard and a friendly cat who is more like a dog. I can keep him separate if ever needed. My house is a little over 1,300 sq ft so there’s plenty of space. If you need your pet to be crated I am comfortable with that. As well as if any medication is needed to be given or frequent walks. I will always respect the home of the pet and owner. Just point me where I need to go with some guidance regarding you fue baby’s routine, you are in great hands!

About: I'm a dog walker and cat sitter for a professional service - this is for anyone seeking services outside of their Uptown/Andersonville/Edgewater service area! Beyond extensive experience walking reactive dogs, I'm a longtime cat foster and shelter volunteer, and I'm experienced giving medications of all sorts. I currently work from home on my consulting business, so I can pretty easily arrange my schedule around any pet visits and walks. I have a car, and can also bike or take transit. I have a separate space in my home for foster animals and temporary pet guests. Your pet would have access to their own space, comfy spots to hang out, and plenty of visits and attention.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember! I have worked in an animal shelter and vet clinic as a veterinary assistant caring for a variety of animals. I have had the privilege of fostering 100 animals (mostly neonatal and orphaned kittens!). I currently have three cats and an 18 year old Crested Gecko. Two of my cats are fosters that never left- both have cererbellar hypoplasia, or better known as wobbly cat syndrome! I have pet sat for many kinds of animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs and reptiles. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! Please note: I do not use flexi/retractible leashes to ensure safety. I am happy to bring my own slip lead or standard leash. Please, let me know if you have questions! I work from home and have a flexible schedule! I typically have afternoons and weekends free. I would love to learn more about what your pet’s specific care needs are! I want to hear all about your pet! What do they like, what don’t they like? What are their quirks and preferences? I want to learn about them because I want to make sure I am caring for them the way you would.

It was comforting to know Luna was taking such good care of our cats and making their time with her fun, loving, and reassuring. Her daily reports were so entertaining and they reflected the true nature of our cats. She had to give one of our cats a daily pill. Sometimes this can be challenging. Luna quickly discovered the best method and approached the process with compassion for my cat’s fear. I will definitely call upon her every time I go out of town.
Melanie was very thorough and took care of Gert and gave her her meds. It was unfortunate that the vet gave us new food for Gert's tummy issues the literal night before Melanie came, and then the moment we left for our trip, Gert ate the whole four days of food by gettibg on top of the fridge for the first time somehow. I know that was confusing and frustrating for her, but we this was not something we could control. Gert has never, ever acted that way before, and we had to deal with in real time when she couldn't find the food. It was stressful. I was dealing with some tough family issues in real time, and i know having a slight change was stressful for Melanie, but we didn't envision Gert eating her food. Thanks again for caring for Gert

Jennifer is always great with our 12-year-old cat Neko. He is very loving but can be a stubborn or picky old man. She takes time to make sure that he has attention, his box is clean, that he has eaten his dinner, and then gets treats/wand toy as a bonus. This time she also took care of our new cat Clara, who can be very shy. Jen was patient with Clara, checked on her under the bed, and made sure she got some extra love and Churu treats. Per usual, she went above and beyond, providing frequent updates, cleaning, taking the garbage out, and making sure both cats were happy and well cared for. Always feel comfortable knowing they are in good hands!

Autumn was amazing! She took such great care of Maude and Cap’m while we were away and sent us tons of photos and updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly attentive and proactive, and it was clear from all the photos and updates that both cats were really comfortable with her and loved all the attention she gave them. We felt so much better knowing they were in such good hands while we were away. We would absolutely book with Autumn again and highly recommend her! 😊

Mercedes came by to check on my cat twice while we were out of town and she was the best! So easy to work with, played with my cat and refilled his water and feeder and left detailed report with the cutest picture. My cat usually doesn’t come out for strangers but he loves Mercedes! Definitely plan on continuing to book Mercedes in the future.

Eleanor was amazing. She went above and beyond in every sense of watching our 17 year old cat. We have used several pet sitting services before, but none could measure up to the attention and love that Eleanor provided for our meowser. If she's available to watch your cat...stop looking for another cat sitter. I can't imagine a better cat sitter.
