About: My family always had a dog growing up, so im very familiar with them. Then, after I moved out I got cats of my own, and learned how to take care of them too! Im at teacher, so im typically available nights and weekends. I'd be able to come over and provide whatever necessary services after school and on weekends I make sure I respect the pet's boundaries. I never pet a cat or dog first unless I know it's okay and they feel comfortable with it! I've watched dogs and cats at my apartment before, and we always make sure the pets feel safe
About: I treat every pet like family - with patience, love, and lots of belly rubs! What sets me apart is my personalized, compassionate care. From playful pups needing training and fun walks to seniors needing meds and gentle attention - I'm here for it all! Pet care is a joyful part of my routine, and I build my schedule around it. I am available weekends and various weekdays for walks, and drop-ins. Whether it's a puppy needing playtime or a senior dog needing extra care, I'm flexible and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for like family. Whether in my home or yours, I create a calm, loving space where pets feel safe. With a fenced yard and nearby parks, they'll enjoy playtime, cuddles, and fun adventures - plus personalized care and consistent routines.
“Patrick is very reliable responsible and kind. He communicates I felt so comfortable with him as well as my babies. They loved him. Will definitely rebook when needed. Highly recommend Patrick!”

About: Hi, I'm Erin! Before I entered the world of office work, I was walking dogs and pet sitting professionally for local businesses in Richmond, VA and Naperville, IL. I have 6 years of experience in pet care, including some experience at a groomer and daycare. I love all animals and have worked with and owned all kinds, from exotics, birds, cats, and dogs. I've cared for little puppies still figuring things out as well as the sweet seniors that need a little help eating and getting around. I've also rescued and fostered kittens! I have a personal interest in positive reinforcement training and use it on my own dog. I have been trained to orally medicate, administer shots, and have experience with first aid/CPR. I have a Chihuahua mix who is my heart and soul, so I understand what concerns a pet parent may have. In my free time I like to bike, paint, read, watch movies, go birding, and play video games. I place security and safety of your pet and home at top priority and like to leave things just as good or better than when I came. You'll get photos and updates with each visit if requested so you can rest easy while away. Please don't hesitate to reach out of you have any questions or concerns! I'm available most of the week except for Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm where I work my full time job in medical billing. I work from home so I can be flexible if you are in the area as I have some downtime. I like to leave your house as I found it or better. If there are special instructions (such as door codes, house or pet quirks, crate or feeding instructions) please provide them prior to the visit. If your pup would like some socialization, I'd be happy to bring Mavis along for walks. If you need trash taken out, plants watered, litter boxes scooped, please let me know and I'll take care of it. If you're out of town for a while I like to rotate lights in the house to make it look lived in. Food and water will be checked every visit. I also don't like to use flexi leashes due to possible risks and will use my own 6 ft leash just in case you don't own one. If your pet has any favorite toys, activities, or other special info let me know!
“Amanda always takes amazing care of our little guy! She goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy and provides a smooth experience throughout the whole process. If you’re looking for an awesome sitter for your pet, we highly recommend Amanda for the job!”

About: Hi! I’m Samantha. I moved to Chicago in late 2018 and spent my first year here walking dogs for three different companies, while also building up a group of regular clients through Rover. In early 2019, I started walking a sweet, three-legged Black Lab named Bo and eventually began boarding him several weeks each month while his dad traveled for work. Sadly, we lost Bo in April 2021, and his passing left a big hole in my heart. Not long after, I began fostering a three-legged pittie named Abby and ended up adopting her in July 2021. When I first adopted her, my only request at the shelter was that she get along with other dogs. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case as she had a very traumatic history, so I no longer offer boarding. However, I’m still happily available for walks, drop-ins, and occasional in house stays! I can work with all different ages, handle senior care, and have helped with puppy training. I work in higher ed but have a very flexible schedule. My boss is aware that I pet sit on the side and allows me to work remotely when needed. Every family I have worked with has been different depending on their needs. I am experienced in crate training, free roaming, or setting up boundaries to help keep animals safe. I also am familiar with all different collar/leash/harness types and feel comfortable navigating with and around dog reactive animals.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets in many different life stages and personalities. I have a 15 year old senior Chihuahua who has been through surgeries and illnesses, and through attentive care, patience, daily walks, and lots of love, she is still healthy, happy, and strong today. I also rescued an adult cat from the street who is now around 3–4 years old. Helping him adjust taught me patience, understanding, and how important it is to make animals feel safe and comfortable. In addition, I have an energetic 8-month-old kitten who keeps me active and experienced with younger pets as well. I am also a runner who’s ran the Chicago marathon, I am prepared to keep up with high energy pups! My pets are truly my family, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your animals. Under my care, your pets will be treated with the same patience, attention, love, and priority that I give my own. At this time, I can not take any more repeat clients who need morning or early afternoon walks/drop-in visits on weekdays. However, I am available after 4 PM on weekdays for walks/drop-in visits. My weekends have open availability as well. For house sitting I am mostly available on weekends as well. I’m happy to answer any questions! I will care for your pet in your home and always follow your instructions carefully to maintain their normal routine and comfort. I understand how important it is to keep things consistent for animals, so I will make sure to follow all feeding schedules, care notes, and any special directions you provide. I will also provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away, including messages, photos, and any important notes about how your pet is doing. My goal is to keep you fully informed and reassured. Most importantly, I will care for your pet in the environment where they feel safest and most comfortable, your home, so they can stay relaxed, secure, and stress-free while receiving attentive and loving care.

“Faith's drop-in visits have been great for our kitty, Nash. He needs a lot of play time and loves spending time with Faith. It's a lot easier to travel for work when I know Faith is looking after Nash :)”

“Parisa is a godsend! Amazing communication and availability- makes it super easy to schedule. Our pup loves Parisa’s visits (sometime too much when she pees from excitement!). We have a lot of guilt leaving to go to work, but knowing Parisa’s coming gives us such peace of mind. Beyond that, Parisa is super patient with our often stubborn dog. We struck gold finding her.”

“Karli was great! She was really thorough with daily updates and to my surprise, my apprehensive natured cats, felt very comfortable to interact with her. Thanks again, Karli!”

“Ryan was great with my cat, Reggie, while I was away for the holidays. Very attentive to my lil guy who needs lots of play. Took lots of pictures and followed all directions. I appreciated his flexibility in schedule and he was communicative about any changes. Would definitely use again”

“Ellie is very professional and she took care of my cat very well. She always kept me informed and sent me great photos of each visit. She’s an animal lover and I look forward to work with her again.”

“We are so grateful for the excellent care our cat received while we were away for two weeks over Christmas and New Year’s. Communication was clear and consistent, updates were reassuring, and it was obvious our cat was well cared for and comfortable the entire time. Traveling over the holidays can be stressful, and it was such a relief knowing everything at home was handled with care and reliability. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

“Tiffani was so great with our two cats for drop in feedings. One of my cats is not very nice and they got along just fine and he even let her get a quick pet here and there. They got lots of playtime and pets and I got lots of fun photo and video updates. Thanks Tiffani!!!”
About: Your pets deserve more than just a sitter; they deserve someone who genuinely loves them. I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals, and for more than a decade I’ve turned that passion into a profession as a dog walker and cat sitter, while volunteering at local shelters along the way. I’ve cared for every personality under the sun including the shy ones, the wild ones, the velcro dogs, the aloof cats, and I love them all. What sets me apart? I treat every pet like my own. Not as a catchphrase, but as a promise. Accommodating each pet’s individual needs comes naturally to me, and every animal I care for gets the same love and attention I’d give my own. Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and safety are always my top priority. If you’re looking for someone reliable, communicative, experienced, and truly passionate about animals, you’ve found them. I hope to meet your pet very soon! I work from home during the week, so my schedule is pretty flexible! For drop-in visits and walks, I’m available after 4pm on weekdays and anytime during weekends. During our meet and greet, we can discuss all the ins and outs of your pets needs! Depending on the service, how I care for your pet in your home is variable. Dog walking includes 25 minutes outside, and 5 minutes inside for a little time to refresh their water, and playtime, or cuddle time, depending on what your dog is feeling! Cat visits inside, I tend to go by what one communicates during our meet and greet. Usually it will include cuddles, water refresh, and/or playtime. I will always take my shoes off, and double check to see if I locked your door correctly! :)
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in North Park is $20
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Park
Katherine did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats while we were out of town for a week. The boys took to her right away during the meet & greet, and I could tell they would be in good hands. Katherine took amazing photos every day and gave detailed reports. She was extremely easy to work with, and I will definitely rebook her if I need a cat sitter in the future.

Ingrid was so great with our cat Binky, and having her coming to the house for drop-in visits while we were away gave us SO much calm and peace of mind! She knew how to interact with our cat and really got to know him on his own terms. She took care of everything while we were away and went above and beyond in ways both big and small. Ingrid was always on time and kept in touch with great updates and photos so we always knew Binky was well taken care of, happy, and content. Thanks so much for all of your help taking care of our precious kitty!!
