We're often hesitant to leave her with new people, but feel totally comfortable sending her to Laura and Charles' place for daycare. She has a blast romping around with her new dog friends, and we have 100% peace of mind that she is safe, happy, and well cared for. We also love that they're helping her to improve her manners and to understand that not all dogs want to play all the time! Her whole body wiggles with excitement when she gets dropped off and she doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. We are SO glad to have found Laura and Charles, and are excited to make this a regular booking!”

He shared a bed with a sweet little dog who was missing a leg. Chachi likes the big yard to roam around; he's older so he does not play but he still likes the opportunity to go free in the fenced in yard. Ian can well accommodate little ones, big ones and handicapped ones all together for a nice time to be had by all. Ian offers food on time and often, sets out clean full water (I know other places that do not set out water the whole day) and he accommodates each individual dog's needs.”

About: I have been a dog parent for the last 13 years. I have experience with dogs with disabilities (I live with a three-legged baby, Mabel) and leash-reactive furbabies. As a sitter, I have taken care of all kinds of dogs but prefer a nice temperament if a dog comes to my home so he or she can get along with my own dogs. I am knowledgeable of dog training techniques and are observant of dog behaviors. I work from phone so your dog will rarely be alone. They will have consistent use of the yard throughout the day (under my supervision, never alone) and will have playmates in my two female dogs, Iris and Mabel (both very playful, mid-energy, mild temperament, zero dog/toy/foodnaggression, spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines). I work remotely so I am usually home. My two dogs are super friendly and love to play. I am also able to separate dogs if needed with dog gates while still allowing for all dogs to be comfortable! I love dogs so it is very important to me to provide everything they need while their parents are away. I live with two dogs myself and they are my life, and I will treat your dog in the same way. As a dog mom who has used sitters in the past, I understand the importance of respecting my client's home and only spend time on site as needed to take care of your angel. My goal is to be the person I would trust to take care of my own doggies (and my expectations of sitters are *pretty* high). Lastly, I am very detailed in following rules and care instructions, no matter how irrational your friends tell you they are. My care instructions for my own dogs is 4 pages long; I understand. Please note that the only caveat to the above is if any rules are abusive toward your dog (shock collars, prong collars, hitting, pushing, choking, underfeeding, other); I will not accept the booking.

About: I do take up to 4 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: I have been a house and pet sitter since High School while working at a vet’s office and all throughout college and many years after. I love a good pet therapy session to keep stress levels down for me and the animal. I have two cats of my own and know how important it is for them to get interacted with throughout the day when we aren’t around, as well as when we have our own overnight commitments to attend. I would be honored to get to spend a little time with your fur baby when needed! I am a fun loving, easy going, and pet (and treat) giving cat mom who loves both cats and dogs! I can’t wait to meet all the incredibly adorable animals possible through this opportunity. I am quite the stimulating pet parent! My cats even knows some commands and tricks. We love some treat giving, toy searching, and you playing in my house! I work for Rover fulltime, so I am always here. I have enough space, and gates to keep 3-5 dogs at a time, if the family is comfortable with other friendly dogs being in the same house with them. I walk all separately unless they are from the same family or the dogs are really good friends. We take about 5-6 walks a day around the neighborhood ranging between 20-30 minutes depending on the weather of the season, and even have a deck with a piece of “grass” where older pets can use the restroom easily or if it is raining, for a quick potty break. We have water in every room of the house, we love to give treats, have crates and gates for alone time if needed, and there is always an opportunity to sunbathe in our house or on our deck.
