“Very communicative and conscientious. Our guy is pretty anxious (separation and in general), to the degree that we couldn't even hand him over to someone to try a temperament test at an open boarding/daycare place. Joerg and Lake have been willing to work with us on gradually desensitizing him - giving him space and time to get used to them and their pup Lizzie at his own pace. They have a system for slowly introducing new dogs to their space, themselves, and Lizzie which really worked! After first doing a meet and greet in a park, a week later we did a 6 hour daycare session which exceeded my hopes - he allowed Joerg and Lake to handle him / pick him up (something no stranger has managed to do since we got him 5.5 months ago), and went on walks with Lizzie with no issues. Very pleased with how things went, and how kind and communicative Joerg was throughout. We will definitely be booking some more sessions to hopefully work our way up to boarding in future!”

About: I have had a family dog my whole life. I was raised with a Golden Retriever and then had twos Daschunds. I now have my own dog that I rescued last year. She is a German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees Mix. She is the sweetest thing in the world but she has a lot of anxiety. She is in every single way the perfect dog. She loves other dogs and is very friendly to them. I provide house sitting, dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Please note that all services provided at my house my dog would be present. My partner and I have a huge apartment with multiple rooms for all your dog's needs, and a fenced in back yard. I plan to take care of your dog just like I take care of mine. So no matter how big or small or how much anxiety they may have I am the one for the job. i'm currently going to school and run my own business. I have plenty of time to take your dog and my dog on a walk. Play with them and give the cuddles. and my partner is here to help as well. i have a fenced in yard and a big dog to keep your dog company. Three bedroom apartment for the dogs to run around. About: I grew up in a household with two dogs, a golden retriever and a silky terrier, and volunteered at a dog shelter in high school. I live right by the park and love taking long walks! You can always count on me to spend lots of time playing, petting, giving belly rubs, and I’ll be happy to take pictures and send updates. I just left my previous job and am currently researching from home. I take a few art classes during the week, but that doesn’t keep me away more than a few hours at a time! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, including a wide array of breeds and varying across experiences of ownership, temporary care, and formal fostering. My passion for dog care and their well-being can be summarized by the underlying core principle: humans are responsible for being our dog’s most reliable and knowledgeable steward. That core tenet has informed everything from how I’ve approached formal training lessons with my most recent dog adoption at 3 months old (now 7) to how I converse with strangers who are hungry to learn more about their own pets. Understanding how our dogs speak to us in their own way is the key to their/our success. Being knowledgeable about the ways in which each kind of dog benefits from a variety of enrichment styles is a must. Any dog I come into contact with receives the love, respect, and responsibility with which I treat my own—ample exercise, safe spaces, and lots of affection and reassurance. I am very active and would willingly walk or run with your pet. I am very experienced with stubborn older dogs that don’t always accept their medication. I am also quite strong (regular lifter) and can happily carry your dogs up and down flights of stairs if needed. Whatever need or desire may arise in the care of your furry family member, I will be happy to go above and beyond! I’m currently working from home full-time, so I have wide open availability to both board your pets or perform check-ins whenever needed! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly and sweet fur babies (dogs) to keep your baby company. I am also accustomed to working with dogs who need to be separated (my foster training) and have plenty of space if that’s what your pet needs! I can run, walk, or play with your pets as desired/required. You name it, I can provide it!
