I’m a calm, confident, and sensitive caregiver who often hears the phrase, “Wow, my dog has NEVER warmed up to someone that fast!”. My schedule is flexible and I have lots of energy for walking and running your pups! Currently working from home so I have plenty of time to care for your pets and my flexibility can match most schedules! I also do weekends! I have a medium sized apartment for watching dogs where everything is kept very safe for them. No fenced yard but very close to lots of grass and parks for lots of outside enrichment.

About: - Having grown up in a household full of pets, I have always cared for animals. My parents entrusted me with red-eared slider turtles, crayfish, fish, birds, and eventually, two cats and two German Shepherds. I have worked as a pet sitter for neighbors, family, friends, and on Rover, and I have volunteered for a non-profit walking rescue dogs. As someone with a soft spot for senior animals, I adopted two senior dogs and loved caring for them during our time together. - I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and abilities. I have experience helping dogs eat if they're not feeling well and not interested in food. As my previous senior dog got older and developed glaucoma, I gained experience administering eye drops multiple times a day for months and helping him navigate the world after he eventually lost his vision. Since he was mostly deaf, I learned how to give commands to him as a blind and deaf dog. I also have experience administering medicine and subcutaneous fluids, and working with dogs with separation anxiety. - For dogs and cats who need a calming presence, we can chill together. However, I also like staying active and enjoy playing with dogs and cats when they're feeling playful or have the zoomies. - My place is a five-minute walk away from a park and the beach, where I would be happy to take your dog(s) for a walk. No animals live with me if your pet(s) prefer no competition for affection and attention. - I'll provide the pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, and care your pets need, with the love and attention they deserve, if you don't mind sharing your pet's company with me. During the week, I'm available to give walking breaks every 4 hours. However, we can discuss your pet's needs to make sure they get the number of breaks they need. My weekends are usually open. . I prefer to meet my clients and their animals before the booking to make sure we're compatible and clarify any questions. . My home: I currently don't have animals in my home and live within a five-minute walk of a park and beach. . My client's home: I follow my client's instructions on how to keep their animal's comfortable at home. In the past, this has meant following the dog's sleeping, feeding, and medication schedule. For previous clients, I've also respected their rules on where their pet is and isn't allowed.

About: Hi! I’m Isabel - an attorney, lifelong animal lover, and experienced pet owner. I currently have two dogs and one cat - the centers of my universe. I also grew up with dogs and have been independently caring for animals for more than 15 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have fostered dogs on several occasions and many of my own pets have been rescues, including some with significant trauma and behavioral challenges. Through those experiences, I've learned the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each animal's unique needs. Whether your pet is energetic and social, shy and anxious, or somewhere in between, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I work fully remotely as an attorney for a legal nonprofit and offer both daycare and boarding from my home. My flexible schedule allows me to provide attentive, reliable care and accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including walks, feeding, and breaks throughout the day based on your pet’s normal routine. Unlike many Rover providers, I only accept one Rover client at a time in my home. I won’t be balancing multiple Rover families or rushing between pets, which allows me to give your pet individualized attention and care. My own best experience using Rover was with a sitter who worked remotely and provided this same level of dedicated attention. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. Both of my dogs are rescues - one was a surrender and the other came from a hoarding situation - so I’m used to being patient, letting animals set the pace, and helping them feel safe in a new environment. That experience has taught me that every pet is different, and I take the time to learn each animal’s personality, needs, and routine. Pets in my home are treated like family. They’re welcome on the furniture, and there are dog beds and toys throughout the house. I live just a block from the lake and take my dogs on daily walks in the park, which your pup is welcome to join if that’s something they enjoy. I’m also a very anxious dog mom myself, so I know how much regular updates matter. I’ll send photos and check-ins so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. I will strive to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible by following their normal feeding, exercise, and care schedule.

About: **I have a lil animal loving 4 year old. She’s very chill with both cats & dogs, but just a disclaimer in case it’s an issue.** My friends always joke that I’ll cross the street just to pet a dog. I love animals, especially dogs. My mother is a dog trainer (specializing in bully breeds) so I’ve always had a bunch of pups around to play with and I learned a lot watching her interact with dogs. My dad was a dog lover as well so we always had at least three dogs. I’ve been a part of quite a few births (the black lab in my photo is from one of the litters, he’s my baby and I’ve raised him since birth.) I went cross country for college and when I came back home it only took me a few interactions to teach him tricks like, “paw” “roll-over” and my favorite “hang-ten” which is basically just an advanced “paw.” I promise you that I will treat your dog as well as you do (he/she might like you more though) but I’ll give your dog(s) all the love and care a pup deserves. Maximum playtime or we can hit the snooze button but I’ll make sure that your dog never feels blue. I also love cats and have been lucky to have had them around for my whole life, with my last sweet girl passing away two years ago. My heart can’t take getting another cat yet but I love being able to scratch behind some ears and get some pets in with so many lovely cats through Rover. I used to care for cats in shelters (still periodically volunteer) and having the keep them in their cages made me super sad beca use they are just tiny big cats and they need space to roam. I love the different and very distinct personalities of cats and I’m always down to hear or share a fun cat fact. I firmly believe that cat’s feet should be call “peets” because they are cute little paws/feet. I’d be absolute honored to care for any and all “little cats” 🦁 **I gladly welcome and love every animal! I regularly care for pets with special needs, including those requiring medication, medical monitoring, or extra behavioral support. I will treat your pet with the utmost care and love. And I’ll always make sure you’re comfortable with our plans beforehand. If I’m allowed to give big treats, I will definitely supervise the entire time. Basically, I’ll treat your baby like my human baby and we’ll all have a blast!
