“Whitney was super responsive when I was trying to complete my booking with her. Leo had a blast at her place. Whitney took him to the dog park, he played with her dog and kid as well. He had so much fun, he was completely knocked out after coming out for the rest of the evening! Will definitely be taking Leo back to Whitney!”

“Sophie was great. She sent photos throughout the evening and Kevin seemed to be having a great time. I would definitely feel comfortable leaving Kevin with her again.”

“Very communicative and conscientious. Our guy is pretty anxious (separation and in general), to the degree that we couldn't even hand him over to someone to try a temperament test at an open boarding/daycare place. Joerg and Lake have been willing to work with us on gradually desensitizing him - giving him space and time to get used to them and their pup Lizzie at his own pace. They have a system for slowly introducing new dogs to their space, themselves, and Lizzie which really worked! After first doing a meet and greet in a park, a week later we did a 6 hour daycare session which exceeded my hopes - he allowed Joerg and Lake to handle him / pick him up (something no stranger has managed to do since we got him 5.5 months ago), and went on walks with Lizzie with no issues. Very pleased with how things went, and how kind and communicative Joerg was throughout. We will definitely be booking some more sessions to hopefully work our way up to boarding in future!”

“Myriam is kind, prompt, and super attentive/confident/responsible with dogs! I needed someone last minute and Myriam was super helpful and kept Zo for me all afternoon, as well as kept me updated with pictures! Absolutely great!”

“Bridget was great and responsive! Our dog was very nervous getting dropped off but Bridget made sure she was calm and comfortable and sent us many updates. Highly recommend.”

“Emilie is a great dog sitter! She's conscientious, a good communicator and very caring. We have a senior dog and Emilie graciously adapted to his needs and abilities. We will be contacting Emilie again!”

“Susan was wonderful! She was very caring with our little elder dog. Communication was great and we were happy to receive a photo of our dog having a comfortable stay with Susan. We appreciate you, Susan!”

About: Alexis and I specialize in pug, bulldog, and similar breeds! We've also pet-sitted for friends and family on a near weekly basis for years, caring for the biggest to the smallest the animal kingdom has to offer us nature lovers! No two are the same and that's what makes it an adventure each day! To witness the adorable and fascinating personalities of these beautiful beasts is a gift! And every walking pup gets a smile from me and you can bet your dollar I want to give each other their daily scratches, if I'm allowed of course! 😁 Both my girlfriend and I work from home and are able to step away to care for, and dedicate time to, whatever your little one may require - including getting their random, afternoon zoomies out! Your animal will not go without attention, in fact, they may get used to TOO MUCH attention within our care! 😅 We have a fenced in courtyard for safety and live directly across from a school so our neighborhood is calm and quiet! We also have access to two nearby vets in case of emergency! Plus, given that both my girlfriend and I work from home 5 days a week, your pet will never be left alone as someone will always have eyes on them.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds and size's. Friends, neighbors, and family often rely on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets while they’re away. I’m comfortable with senior dogs, energetic puppies, and pets with special routines. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight care, I always treat every pet like my own. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide morning, midday, and evening visits during the week. Weekends are open for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m responsible, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands. I live in a pet-friendly apartment that’s clean, safe, and comfortable for your furry friend. I take frequent walks and make sure pets get plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day. I’m very mindful of leash safety, secure entrances, and keeping pets calm in new environments. Whether your dog loves outdoor strolls or prefers cozy naps, I make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for.
“Cynthia did a great job caring for our dog. She was flexible and accommodating and went above and beyond. We were traveling thru town for 3 days and needed a dog sitter. We highly recommend her.”

“Andrew took great care of my dog. He was very responsive to my texts, and sent me a few adorable pictures of her having a good time. My dog came back happy and content. I will be back.”

About: To me, pet sitting is about so much more than feeding pets and letting them outside—it’s about making them feel safe, loved, and cared for while their favorite people are away. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to get to know each one so they feel comfortable and at home. I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet is full of energy and loves to play, enjoys long walks, or is a senior who just wants a calm companion, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, can administer medications if needed, and always keep an eye out for any changes in their behavior or health. I also believe communication is just as important as great pet care. I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in loving hands. My goal is for you to come home to a relaxed, well-cared-for pet who has been treated like family every step of the way. As a college student, my schedule is flexible, which means your dog will never be left alone for long. The only time I’m away is for a few hours each day while I’m in class, and the rest of my time is spent at home giving your pup the love, attention, and care they deserve. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, walks, cuddles on the couch, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved throughout their stay. My goal is to provide a home away from home where your furry family member gets plenty of one-on-one attention and care. Your dog’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a large, fully fenced-in yard where your pup can safely run, play, and explore. I also have a small, friendly dog who loves having new friends to play with and can provide great companionship for social dogs. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or isn’t comfortable around other dogs, that’s absolutely okay! My home has a separate basement area that allows me to keep the dogs completely separated that I sleep at, ensuring every pet has a calm, safe, and stress-free environment. I’ll always care for your dog based on their individual personality, needs, and comfort level so they feel right at home.

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats at home. Right now I share my life with Mazapán, my one-year-old toy poodle, so I understand firsthand how much energy, patience, and love a young pup needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own — with the same attention, playtime, and care. Pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. I’m flexible during the week and available for walks, visits, or boarding on weekends too. Since I live with my own dog, your pet will always have company and won’t be left alone for long stretches. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I keep a calm, clean home environment and I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any special needs your pet may have. Having grown up with dogs and cats, I’m comfortable handling different personalities and making sure every pet feels relaxed and cared for, whether in my home or yours.

About: **I have a lil animal loving 4 year old. She’s very chill with both cats & dogs, but just a disclaimer in case it’s an issue.** My friends always joke that I’ll cross the street just to pet a dog. I love animals, especially dogs. My mother is a dog trainer (specializing in bully breeds) so I’ve always had a bunch of pups around to play with and I learned a lot watching her interact with dogs. My dad was a dog lover as well so we always had at least three dogs. I’ve been a part of quite a few births (the black lab in my photo is from one of the litters, he’s my baby and I’ve raised him since birth.) I went cross country for college and when I came back home it only took me a few interactions to teach him tricks like, “paw” “roll-over” and my favorite “hang-ten” which is basically just an advanced “paw.” I promise you that I will treat your dog as well as you do (he/she might like you more though) but I’ll give your dog(s) all the love and care a pup deserves. Maximum playtime or we can hit the snooze button but I’ll make sure that your dog never feels blue. I also love cats and have been lucky to have had them around for my whole life, with my last sweet girl passing away two years ago. My heart can’t take getting another cat yet but I love being able to scratch behind some ears and get some pets in with so many lovely cats through Rover. I used to care for cats in shelters (still periodically volunteer) and having the keep them in their cages made me super sad beca use they are just tiny big cats and they need space to roam. I love the different and very distinct personalities of cats and I’m always down to hear or share a fun cat fact. I firmly believe that cat’s feet should be call “peets” because they are cute little paws/feet. I’d be absolute honored to care for any and all “little cats” 🦁 **I gladly welcome and love every animal! I regularly care for pets with special needs, including those requiring medication, medical monitoring, or extra behavioral support. To ensure the best care for your pet, please share any medical conditions, medications, or behavioral concerns before booking. Some pets may require extra attention or supervision, and this helps me plan their care so they are safe, comfortable, and happy. Thank you :) I’m a stay-at-home mom at the moment with lots of free time to walk, watch, or just pop in and play & care for your little furiend :) I live in an apartment complex but I will gladly take your dog to the dog park (if ok) and/or walk around the neighborhood where you feel most comfortable. I will treat your pet with the utmost care and love. And I’ll always make sure you’re comfortable with our plans beforehand. If I’m allowed to give big treats, I will definitely supervise the entire time. Basically, I’ll treat your baby like my human baby and we’ll all have a blast!

About: I’m new to Rover but in no way new to dogs—reach out and request my discount link for your first booking with me! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, including a wide array of breeds and varying across experiences of ownership, temporary care, and formal fostering. My passion for dog care and their well-being can be summarized by the underlying core principle: humans are responsible for being our dog’s most reliable and knowledgeable steward. That core tenet has informed everything from how I’ve approached formal training lessons with my most recent dog adoption at 3 months old (now 7) to how I converse with strangers who are hungry to learn more about their own pets. Understanding how our dogs speak to us in their own way is the key to their/our success. Being knowledgeable about the ways in which each kind of dog benefits from a variety of enrichment styles is a must. Any dog I come into contact with receives the love, respect, and responsibility with which I treat my own—ample exercise, safe spaces, and lots of affection and reassurance. I am very active and would willingly walk or run with your pet. I am very experienced with stubborn older dogs that don’t always accept their medication. I am also quite strong (regular lifter) and can happily carry your dogs up and down flights of stairs if needed. Whatever need or desire may arise in the care of your furry family member, I will be happy to go above and beyond! I’m currently working from home full-time, so I have wide open availability to both board your pets or perform check-ins whenever needed! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly and sweet fur babies (dogs) to keep your baby company. I am also accustomed to working with dogs who need to be separated (my foster training) and have plenty of space if that’s what your pet needs! I can run, walk, or play with your pets as desired/required. You name it, I can provide it!

Gina was amazing! She accommodated me very last minute while I was in Chicago and made me feel so comfortable by sending frequent updates and photos. She made sure my dog was fed, walked, and had plenty of fun—he came home happily exhausted! I would absolutely book with Gina again! ❤️

Zoey was happy to go back for another afternoon with Kristina. It was obvious from the pictures Kristina sent us that Zoey was having a great time playing and socializing with their dog and another day care charge. She look relaxed and happy taking a rest on a comfy bed. It was great to know Zoey was enjoying her time away from home.

I almost wanted to gatekeep Nicky because he’s that good! He takes amazing care of my dog, Juno, and I never have to worry when he's with him. He’s reliable, caring, communicative, and it’s obvious he genuinely loves animals. Juno is always happy, relaxed, and excited to see him, which says everything. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your pet, I can’t recommend Nicky enough
