“Laura took great care of our puppy Ozzy and made us feel so comfortable for his first day away at day care! He had so much fun playing with other dogs and was a tired pup when he got home. Thank you so much again!”

“He came in very clutch for our last minute day care booking and it couldn't have gone better. Great communication and took great care of our boy. We will absolutely use him again!”

“Catherine and Johnny are like your dogs' favorite aunt and uncle. They were so welcoming to my pups and my pups were comfortable enough with them the first hour they arrived they had already settled in their favorite spot on their couch. They also addressed my concerns to work with my leash reactive dogs which is tough to find someone willing to work with that behavior especially if one dog is 80 pounds. Catherine and Johnny treated my dogs as if they were their own and it shows in my dogs' excitement when they see them. Definitely recommend these Rover sitters!!”

“We were so grateful to have found Arlene! Fred loved going there and we knew he was being well cared for. Arlene is very professional, responsive., and caring. She has a way with dogs, for sure!”

“Super on it! My dog can be a bit hyper since she’s a puppy and he was so kind and understanding! I’ve already recommended him to other dog owners!”

“Christin is amazing! She kept me updated on how Keta was every day, which made me feel calm. When I picked her up, she also seemed happy about the time she spent with Christin. Thank you again!”

“Very happy with Makeda! I know Coco is a bundle of energy but she came home at the end of the day and promptly laid down. :) Definitely recommend.”

“Mark takes great care of Artie. She loves going over to his place!”

“Eleonora and family were wonderful! They took such good care of our pup, gave a lot of updates throughout the day, and gave her lots of attention. Quick to respond and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for a better experience!”

“Stacey was very generous and honest when my high energy dog came to her home. Unfortunately, my dog was not able to behave properly because he is a puppy and it led to some issues which she quickly made me aware. I was glad that she made me aware as quickly as she did because it allowed me to respond to the issue with speed and given the situation she was incredibly clear and understanding. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah and Walter were wonderful with Butters! I’m so glad Butters had a great time there since he can be quite a handful at times. Will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

“I booked with Luiza multiple times in one week. Joy was increasingly excited to see Luiza with each visit, so I know she did a wonderful job.”

“Robert took incredible care of my sweet Boston terrier, Chloe and on such short notice! My sweet girl has separation anxiety and needs individual attention, all of which Robert handled easily. Robert’s home is calm and peaceful which put Chloe at ease. There was clear communication and lots of pics and videos so that I always Chloe was having a wonderful time with Robert!”

“Jessica took great care of our dog, Bebop, while he stayed with her for the day. She met with us first for a meet-and-greet and then sent updates and photos while he was with her. We will definitely be using Jessica again in the future!”

“Katie did a great job with my little pup! Picked up and dropped off on time, and sent pictures and updates throughout the day. Really appreciated her care to help Winnie feel comfortable in a new environment. Thank you!”

About: I have been a house and pet sitter since High School while working at a vet’s office and all throughout college. I love a good pet therapy session to keep stress levels down for me and the animal. I have two cats of my own and know how important it is for them to get interacted with throughout the day when we aren’t around, as well as when we have our own overnight commitments to attend. I would be honored to get to spend a little time with your fur baby when needed! I am a fun loving, easy going, and pet (and treat) giving cat mom who loves both cats and dogs! I can’t wait to meet all the incredibly adorable animals possible through this opportunity. I am quite the stimulating pet parent! My cats even knows some commands and tricks. We love some treat giving, toy searching, and you playing in my house! I work for Rover fulltime, so I am always here. I have enough space, and gates to keep 3-5 dogs at a time, if the family is comfortable with other friendly dogs being in the same house with them. I walk all separately unless they are from the same family or the dogs are really good friends. We take about 5-6 walks a day around the neighborhood ranging between 20-30 minutes depending on the weather of the season, and even have a deck with a piece of “grass” where older pets can use the restroom easily or if it is raining, for a quick potty break. We have water in every room of the house, we love to give treats, have crates and gates for alone time if needed, and there is always an opportunity to sunbathe in our house or on our deck.

About: I would love to help you take great care of your pets! I have nothing but patience for pets and believe every pet deserves love and high quality care. Whether your dog needs a morning or afternoon walk, or an overnight sitter, I am willing and able to help out. I am happy to match your dog's energy level and can help you meet training goals as well. I am available 7 days a week and am flexible with overnight stays. I have two dogs of my own - an 90lb pit mix and a 35lb terrier mix - and I regularly watch friends and family members pets of all breeds/sizes. I am comfortable with all breeds! Please let me know how I can help out, I look forward to speaking with you soon! I am an artist currently working out of my home, and have plenty of time to schedule walks and check-ins throughout the week. I can usually do last minute requests, but it will be in a case by case basis. I will follow and respect the instructions you provide if I am visiting your home. If you have a fenced yard and it is ok with you, I will play with your dog in the yard. If you prefer to keep your dog crated over night, I will do this as well! Any request you have, I will honor, so let’s make sure we communicate! I do not host dogs in my own home.

About: I am extremely patient by nature. I was the primary owner of my childhood dog, a black lab, until the end of her life and have also had experience with specialized breeds like bulldog and rescue pups that need special attention and soothing care. I believe in giving dogs lots of love and attention and gaining their trust to best care for them. I work from home so pet care would fit into my schedule in whatever way the owner would like. My girlfriend also works from home and is great with animals. We own both a cat and a dog. I make sure the pet feels comfortable in the environment that we are in. I am open to playing with the dog or just letting the dog lounge around. Whatever is most comfortable for the particular dog I am caring for.

About: Hello! I'm Meredith (Mer for short). I am originally from Upstate NY, but relocated to Chicago in late 2016 for a job relocation. I also lived in Washington DC -for my previous job in central banking- and London, UK -for undergraduate studies in finance and economics. Some of my interests include: nature (outdoors, animals, camping, hiking), the arts, research, fashion, and sports (I play soccer, tennis, golf, and coach youth lacrosse). I am interested in spending some of this time offering my services for pet care. I love animals and had several pets growing up (dogs, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, amphibians, and fish). I also took care of my prior housemate's two dogs for over two years and have professional animal experience from volunteeting at an animal shelter and pet sitting for family and friends over the years. I am hoping to take on this experience to allow for more positive experiences in my own life, as I have always enjoyed caring for animals, but also to potentially earn additional income. I look forward to meeting you and your precious pet! I am available after 3:30pm on weekdays (except friday- my availability starts at 5:30pm). I have open availability on weekends, with the exception of Saturday 9am-1pm. Please let me know of any requirements for caring for your pet. I have experience caring for various pets, but I am open to your suggestions.
