“Arlene was such a blessing. She took our 10 month old puppy for a day. She is a ball of energy and Arlene was kind and patient with her. She was good at communicating and drop off/pick up was easy.”

“We appreciate how Sasha took such good care of our senior dog. He enjoyed meeting her dog and napping in her comfortable home. She responded quickly to our initial request, communicated clearly along the way, and sent several cute photos. I definitely recommend Sasha!”
“I am so blessed to have found her not far from home to watch over my 13 months old high energy puppy. After the first dog sitter he came to crash in his crate. He had no energy to not even jump. As first time dog owner- I have no idea what I’m doing but Jackie sure is a dog whisperer.”

About: Caring for dogs is something I’ve enjoyed doing for as long as I can remember. I grew up around animals in Puerto Rico and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a companion animals care certificate, giving me both hands-on experience and formal knowledge in companion animal care. I offer boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy day care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I tailor my care to fit their needs and routine. I’m also comfortable with senior dog care, medications, and basic training reinforcement. Since I work from home full-time, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is always to make dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. I also live with My best friend and roommate, Erica, who is also trained and able to care for your pup. So, if you board with us, you can rest assure your pet will have the best care 24/7! I work from home full-time, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home with the pet throughout the day and can provide consistent supervision, attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. Since I live close to Portage Park, I’m also able to give dogs plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation through walks, outdoor time, and their favorite games. Whether that’s fetch, tug-of-war, or just exploring the park, my top priority is to make them happy. On the rare occasions I do step out, my roommate is home and helps ensure your pet is never left alone. In caring for pets, my approach is rooted in both professionalism and personalized attention. Depending on the service offered, the care provided may vary. However, one constant remains: meticulous adherence to instructions and a commitment to the well-being of every furry friend entrusted to my care. I take a lot of pride in my ability to follow instructions diligently, ensuring that your pet receives tailored care according to your explicit preferences. Whether it's feeding schedules, medication administration, or specific exercise routines, I prioritize clear communication and meticulous execution. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are my utmost priorities.
“My shy, anxious beagle had a blast at Valerie’s, didn’t want to come home! I appreciated Valerie’s patience, flexibility, and ability to be both laidback with my pup while also giving her space to indulge her zoomies. Plus, we got lots of pics throughout the day. Thanks for a wonderful stay, will use again!”

“Our puppy had a great time with Diana! She was responsive and helped provide the daily exercise our dog needs. Had a lot of great feedback after day care and we appreciated her positivity! Would use her again.”

“I am new to this city and have an overprotective dog who is adjusting to city life. Jamie took very good care of him and kept me informed to help reduce my anxiety. I definitely plan to leave Rocket with Jamie for more time in the future.”

“David was great with our pup Chase. He's usually very shy and slow to warm up to people. However he really took to David and Pinto super quickly. David shared pictures and videos of them playing and sleeping throughout the day. I would definitely recommend him for any dogsitting needs.”

“David and his fiancé were great with Leo. They took him on multiple walks and made sure that he was happy and cared for at all times. They also have the sweetest dogs that became best friends with Leo and kept him entertained. Thank you David!”

“River loved her doggy day care stay with Brian. The meet and greet before was helpful and greatly appreciated as well. Would highly recommend Brian to take great care of your fur baby!”

“Laura took great care of our puppy Ozzy and made us feel so comfortable for his first day away at day care! He had so much fun playing with other dogs and was a tired pup when he got home. Thank you so much again!”

About: I do take up to 3 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: I walk for my physical health. I believe pets are a key benefit to mental health. Why not combine the 2 and walk dogs? I’m happy to help provide the attention your pet needs. I work full time as an engineer for a Danish firm. However, I work remotely and with a flexible schedule so I am available for mid-day mid-week take. I have a 13-yr old daughter that spends every other week with me. She loves animals more than I do. I have one dog that can provide companionship. I have a fenced park right next door for exercise. The home is alarmed and in a very safe neighborhood.
“Thank you Alina for taking care of Birdie , and being super flexible about our scheduling . You made everything really easy for us . Birdie came home tired and happy , perfect dog! I will definitely book again !”

“Sarah and Walter were wonderful with Butters! I’m so glad Butters had a great time there since he can be quite a handful at times. Will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

Sarah accommodated my daycare request at short notice and I couldn’t be happier to have chosen her! Both my little pups have special needs and she put me at ease with her communication and multiple photo updates. She was very thorough with understanding their care and I will absolutely use her services again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend if you are looking for a professional pet lover! Thank you, Sarah!

David took amazing care of my 8 month old puppy Cosy! I was out of state when organizing his daycare sitter service and he made me feel so assured and calm throughout the entire process. He gave me constant updates and was incredibly responsive and friendly! Can’t recommend him enough!

Nelia took incredible care of Chester! She was so responsive and kept me updated throughout his stay with her. She created a playful environment and took him on several long walks in her beautiful neighborhood. She was truly excited to take care of him. He can't wait to stay with Nelia again. I know your dog will love her too!

My shy, anxious beagle had a blast at Valerie’s, didn’t want to come home! I appreciated Valerie’s patience, flexibility, and ability to be both laidback with my pup while also giving her space to indulge her zoomies. Plus, we got lots of pics throughout the day. Thanks for a wonderful stay, will use again!

Lauriann and Sven were so accommodating and supportive of our pup’s needs for doggy day care. They were responsive and communicative and followed our instructions and checked in and sent pics. So thankful for their gracious and loving care for our dog. Would definitely book with them again!

Tango seemed to have really enjoyed the day with Craig and his dogs. I was worried because he's been a little reluctant to be around some dogs lately, but he was so excited when I dropped him off with Craig and their pups, and was happy when I picked him up. Craig took him for a long walk and he explored Craig and Ashley's lovely backyard. He went to bed as soon as he came home (which is so nice for me!). Craig included a number of photos in Tango's report card - he looked very content. We'll definitely use Craig and Asley again for day care and hopefully boarding the future!
