“Johanna is top tier! Johanna is patient, accommodating and professional. She worked with our schedule a number of times. She followed our instructions to a T, and provided valuable feedback and photos/updates while we were away. I could tell my pup was a fan, I would highly recommend!”

“Coleen is the best sitter in the business. She always gives us the peace of mind we need to enjoy our time away, and has never once let us down. She handles all our pets medications with ease. She takes such great care of our ederly pup, as well as our skiddish cat. Do yourself the favor and book Coleen.”

“Hanna was fantastic with Kiwi! She was communicative and shared photos when I asked. When I got back home, the house was just the way we left it. She was very easy to work with and very kind. I will absolutely be using Hanna’s services again.”

“Joanna was amazing. My pups loved her and she went above and beyond to care for them. I felt rest assured they were in good hands while I was out of town. I highly recommend her and I will be having her come again in the future.”

“Ray was great! He sent lots of pictures and updates and consulted me on pretty much everything I hadn't left instructions for. Also, he was very accommodating when I booked him for the wrong dates initially and had to switch things up while I was on my trip. I will definitely book Ray again if I need another house sitter or dog walker.”

“Very prompt, adjustable as to your preferences, considerate of your pet’s needs, and many video and photo updates :) Nach enjoyed his babysitter and would definitely book again and recommend Lauren.”

“Jo is just a great person. Period. She always goes above and beyond in caring for and entertaining our dogs, whether it’s bringing over her best enrichment toys or finding our dog’s favorite Real Housewives franchise to watch together. For this house sitting, Jo watched our newer puppy for the first time. He can be vocally reactive on walks and has some unique methods for managing his behavior. For Jo, it was no sweat. And during this house stay, my husband and I happened to be in Puerto Vallarta during the recent cartel rampage. Not only did Jo make sure that our doggos would be cared for regardless of when we made it back to the States, but she also made a genuine effort to check in on our general well-being. Like I said, she’s just a great person.”

“Renee did AMAZING dog sitting while I was out of town. She sent me constant updates and pictures, and asked questions when she was hesitant about something, which was so reassuring. I can tell my dog LOVED her. Plus she left my place so clean which was very appreciated! Will definitely be booking many more times”

“Emily was great to work with and really helped us out on short notice a couple of times. She was flexible, easy to coordinate with, and clearly understood what our dog needed. We felt very comfortable leaving him in her care and have already booked her again. Thank you, Emily!”

“Jenna was an amazing sitter and very flexible with our confusing schedules. She watched our two pups for 6 days and they were happy as pie when we got home. She sent us cute pictures during our stay to ease my mind! When our flight was canceled and we had to stay away another day she was able to accommodate us which was a heaven sent. The dogs were taking medicine for a cold when we left and she gave it to them no problem. We would definitely ask her to stay with them next time we are away!”

“Kelso was great. She was very responsive and communicative and our dog seemed quite happy and content when we returned. Bonus: she left the house clean and left her towels freshly laundered!”

“Maya was a wonderful sitter for our dog. She was very communicative, friendly, and responsible. We felt very safe with her watching our dog. We will definitely look to use her services again.”

“Had a great experience with Tammy, who provided in-home dog-sitting for our two dogs while we were away for a couple of weeks. She was kind, professional, communicative, and took very good care of the fur babies. We returned to a tidy house and a couple of happy, healthy doggos. Will definitely ask her to sit for us again, and would recommend her to others!”

“Elijah was very communicative and kind regarding our two dogs who are not the most low maintenance pair. She asked a lot of questions during our meet and greet that showed how seriously she takes this job and left our home and our pets in great condition, we would highly recommend her!”

“Jillian took amazing care of our three cats while we were on vacation. She made it so easy to relax on our vacation without worrying about anything at home. We will absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: Caring for dogs is something I’ve enjoyed doing for as long as I can remember. I grew up around animals in Puerto Rico and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a companion animals care certificate, giving me both hands-on experience and formal knowledge in companion animal care. I offer boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy day care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I tailor my care to fit their needs and routine. I’m also comfortable with senior dog care, medications, and basic training reinforcement. Since I work from home full-time, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is always to make dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. I also live with My best friend and roommate, Erica, who is also trained and able to care for your pup. So, if you board with us, you can rest assure your pet will have the best care 24/7! I work from home full-time, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home with the pet throughout the day and can provide consistent supervision, attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. Since I live close to Portage Park, I’m also able to give dogs plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation through walks, outdoor time, and their favorite games. Whether that’s fetch, tug-of-war, or just exploring the park, my top priority is to make them happy. On the rare occasions I do step out, my roommate is home and helps ensure your pet is never left alone. In caring for pets, my approach is rooted in both professionalism and personalized attention. Depending on the service offered, the care provided may vary. However, one constant remains: meticulous adherence to instructions and a commitment to the well-being of every furry friend entrusted to my care. I take a lot of pride in my ability to follow instructions diligently, ensuring that your pet receives tailored care according to your explicit preferences. Whether it's feeding schedules, medication administration, or specific exercise routines, I prioritize clear communication and meticulous execution. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are my utmost priorities.
Portage Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kelso was absolutely incredible taking care of my doggo child who can be a handful, I completely felt at ease with my dog son in her care! She kindly gave me updates, pics, video, and even got him his first pup cup which he loved! She administered his AM & PM meds without missing any, gave him his special meals, and was able to handle his dog reactivity on walks & keep my boy safe & other dogs safe as well. Cookie was even sad to see her go as he made a new bff, and he’s a picky lil guy. She’s super easy going and down to earth, I will definitely be rebooking the next time I need a doggo sitter & will be recommending for any friends who need dog sitters too!! 🙏🙌👌💖💖💖💖💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🐶☺️🤩

I have never had a more attentive sitter than Jillian. She truly went above and beyond when it came to caring for my two senior dogs. She also was very communicative as far as sending daily pictures and asking questions when needed. It was a relief to know that my babies were being cared for by someone I could trust and I would absolutely book her again, given the chance. 10/10, 5 stars!

Casey was amazing with my very attached Doberman. I really appreciated that she took the time to come for a meet and greet beforehand so she could get to know him and make sure he felt comfortable. She was very thorough and i could tell she really cared about providing the best care. She kept me updated with detailed messages and adorable pictures and videos that gave me peace of mind. She treated my home with respect. I appreciate her communication, reliability, and kindness and would trust her with my pup again.

Aleia was wonderful with our reactive dog and we are so grateful we found her. We’ve never been able to travel as a couple because we couldn’t leave our dog. She was so patient with doing meet and greets slowly for the months leading up to our trip. Will 100% be booking again soon for another trip.
