She stayed in our home to watch over them since they are both older, and they couldn't have been in better hands. She was diligent, made sure we had care instructions, and sent photos and updates for us through her whole time watching them. My flight was delayed due to weather, and she even stayed a few hours extra to make sure they were taken out and comfortable until I could get home. She was even willing to come back in the evening to give them dinner and take them out again if my flight had gotten delayed even more. She is so sweet, and she left our home in immaculate condition. We will absolutely be reaching out to Carla to take care of our boys again!”

And during this house stay, my husband and I happened to be in Puerto Vallarta during the recent cartel rampage. Not only did Jo make sure that our doggos would be cared for regardless of when we made it back to the States, but she also made a genuine effort to check in on our general well-being. About: I'm a playful and fun friend to animals of all kinds! While this app is focused on dogs and cats, I have expeirence with reptiles as well. I'm cool under pressure and can handle hectic environments. The wildest experience I've had was with 3 grown dogs, 8 puppies, and a cat. Best weekend of my life. I have one regular client in the mornings, Mon-Wed. outside of that, I tend to prefer about 5+ days' notice for sits, 2+ for drop-is & walks. I can be flexible when my schedule allows 👍🏾 I'm adaptable and can adopt whatever schedules and routines you specify for your pets. I know it's good for dogs to get some exercise, so I'll play with them as much as I can. (a win-win since it's also good cardio for me!) If they're good with other dogs, we'll go to the dog park! With cats, I find it's best to follow their lead to an extent. I'm observant and will get a good idea of their boundaries quickly.

“Renee was excellent with my dogs on most fronts with only a couple of issues. She went above and beyond when one of them got an ear infection- taking him to the vet, even had her mom drive him which was amazing, she was generally very communicative and meticulous with their care. She even washed them and cleaned up before leaving. The issue i had with her majorly was the lack of any walks in the first 4 days of care. That's too long of a duration to go without walks. This did seem like a consequence of extenuating circumstances for her so I wouldn't characterize that as her caregiver personality. I do however think having big dogs with no walk time for 4 consecutive days is unacceptable as a general rule. She was extremely apologetic and explained her situation to me. She was regular with walks after I reiterated that only yard time is not ok, she needs to walk them daily and not just give them yard time. She left my house very clean and even gave my dogs baths before leaving, a completely unexpected kindness. Despite the hiccups I think she is a very caring and meticulous dog sitter.”
