About: I’ve worked with young kids and dogs for years. I babysit and petsit in people’s homes and I have trained my seven year old dog. I also have experience with cats and giving them space while letting them warm up to me. On weekdays I work full-time until 4pm and then I’m all free to play with your pets or feed them. Weekends I’m free all day to properly care for your pets. I have a fenced grass front yard and a 7 year old mini schnauzer if your pet is okay with socializing, but not necessary for house sitting or walking.

Both of our dogs have their own quirks and can be a little dog (and squirrel!) reactive when on a leash, but she assured us that it wasn't a problem at all! She sent us pictures daily and our dogs always looked perfectly happy and content. She even left two big dog cookies for the dogs when she left - so thoughtful! Kat was fantastic from our very first phone call where we talked for 45 minutes so that I could get to know her and she could hear about my two senior pups and all their quirks. We haven’t left our dogs with anyone in years because they have so many needs that it’s hard to leave. Their many, many medicines and beginnings of incontinence were no issue for Kat. I knew they were going to be in great hands. Kat gave our dogs so much attention and care— they were spoiled while she was here with bones, walks, baths, and cuddles. They were also rarely, if ever, left alone while they were in her care. She’s very attentive. Not only that— but she CLEANS. I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I was to come home to a home that was not only clean, but even cleaner than how we left it. With two older dogs and a toddler, it’s hard for me to find time to clean everything to the level I want. Kat deep cleaned things in my bathroom that have been on my to-do list for months (all unprompted)! Despite my telling her not to worry about cleaning the poop in the backyard (because we had gotten behind and hadn’t cleaned any of it during the winter), she cleaned all of it and our yard looked pristine. She did laundry in addition to everything that got dirtied by my dogs’ accidents. She’s easy to work with and will take amazing care of your pets and home. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have had dogs ever since I was a kid, I had a high energy yellow lab before and now I have 2 pitbull mixes and one of them is deaf. I use to volunteer at PAWS Chicago a few years ago, so I have been trained with reading a dog’s body language, deescalation tactics, and dog safety measures! I currently am focusing on my education which is fully remote via online. So, my schedule is open unless otherwise stated in the calendar. You let me know what your beloved pet schedule is and I will include them into my schedule if I am not already booked. I have had my previous dog rusty since he was a puppy, so I have had first-hand experience with potting training, teaching them how to sit and stay, and have experience with high-energy dogs. I now have 2 pitbulls / mixed breeds. One since a puppy and the other since 2025 when she found us and ran at me from a alleyway. The alleyway dog "Joy" is deaf, so my experience includes dogs with little to no hearing. I will take your dog out on walks and give them all the pets and attention they want. If they want to play fetch outside, I will do that at a local dog park or in the yard, whatever you are most comfortable with.
