About: I grew up in a household full of pets and have been lucky to live with people who also own pets, sharing the responsibility. Over the years, I've taken care of many dogs and several cats, rodents (guinea pigs and hamsters), hermit crabs, and fish. I have mostly owned small dogs and have been lucky to see them mature into their senior years, so I am familiar with the unique challenges that can come with age. I do feel comfortable walking and caring for dogs of any size. Right now, my family is fostering two 6-week old puppies who need lots of attention and care, so I am learning a lot about puppies. While I haven't yet charged for my services, I have been trusted by friends, family, and community members since I was 15 to pet-sit and house-sit. I graduated from college a year ago and have been bouncing around a lot, working ground control at music festivals. Between festivals, I need a place to stay, so I am especially looking for house-sitting opportunities to spend my time and have furry friends keeping me company. Other than sits and drop-ins, I'm not working, so I can give your loved ones the time and attention they deserve. I am big into travel, so I've met and lived with animals around the world. I've volunteered at shelters in the Bay Area, SoCal, and Louisiana. I was most recently living on a horse ranch in Georgia (the country) and took care of 2 farm dogs and a kitten. They were very independent and mostly required food, water, and serious cuddles. On the other hand, I've watched pets of various temperaments that had strict diets, medication schedules, and mental and physical health needs. I know every animal is different, and I'm happy to do all I can to care for yours just as you would. If your pet needs to sleep in bed with someone at night or other specific requests, I can do that. I will also be exploring Chicago for the first time, so if your dog has any favorite parks or routes, I would love to know!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since grammar school and have always had a deep appreciation for the role pets play in a family. Over the years I’ve lived in multi-pet households — at one point sharing a home with three dogs and four cats — and I’ve personally had three cats of my own. Our family Doberman passed a few years ago, and while we currently don’t have pets of our own, that has opened the door for us to provide a loving space for yours. My family and I currently do not have pets besides our fish, Blueberry, so all our attention can be focused on your loved one.

About: I'm an interactive sitter that will care for your dog or cat like I did my own. I have over 5 yrs of personal experience caring for cats and had my 16yr old dog from puppy to passing. I also have experience with birds and small furry caged animals and fostered a guinea pig for over 4 months. I am only able to do drop/pickups after 6pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I can walk dogs twice a day and have playtime. Or just let in yard if dog is not active. My services would best fit someone who's dog can be left alone on weekdays. I have a secure outside play area but still check on dog or just stay and watch. As for sleeping or when I'm away arrangements, I have a large crate but don't require dogs that came together to be locked away if they get along. I also have secure room just for pets which can be seen in my pictures.
