Karen watched our two golden retrievers, Shiro and Athena, along with our two cats, and she really took the time to understand each of their personalities. Shiro is very energetic and needs a lot of engagement, and she did a great job keeping up with him and making sure he got the attention and activity he needs. Athena, on the other hand, is much more of a couch potato and can be a bit skittish, but Karen was patient and gentle with her, which clearly helped Athena feel comfortable and safe. She was also very attentive and loving with our cats, making sure they were well cared for and not overlooked. Overall, Karen was reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring with all of our pets. I’d absolutely trust her to watch them again.

In our case, she even stayed at our home to look after our dog and cat. When she isn’t staying overnight, she makes the effort to stop by more often than expected, simply because she wants to be sure the pets feel happy and secure. Karen was my neighbor for several years and when I went out of town sometimes for a week at a time, Karen would take care of my miniature schnauzer. She has a miniature schnauzer herself, and she fell in love with my dog. The first time she watched her. Karen is a type of person that probably cares more about animals than she does anything else. She did a wonderful job taking care of my dog. She fed her and took her for walks and spent several hours a day in the house with my dog. She is honest dependable. She recently moved to Chicago and this past summer she drove all the way back from Chicago to my home at Lake Cumberland, Kentucky.
