Availability
I have a PT job as a pet transporter (which is typically outside of the days I'm pet sitting.) Aside from that, I'm caring for fur babies through Rover. If your pet has special needs which require 24/7 type of care I'm open to being available full time during a sitting. If I'm not allowed to take any walks/drop ins during that time, that's 100% okay as long as we agree to that before confirming a booking. However, it will incur an additional fee to offset booking opportunities I would've otherwise received. I typically send 2 detailed updates on a full day (with snaps of your pet/s). On a partial day you'll receive 1 to 2 detailed updates with images. No need to reach out regarding general updates, please. Rest assured that I will send you updates about how your fur baby/babies doing and make sure they're well cared for. Aside from that, if anything comes up, feel free to message me, if for any reason anything comes up from my end, I'll make sure to communicate that promptly. I value transparency as a whole, and that includes my availability as well as what to expect from me as your pet sitter. 🙂 We can discuss any expectations and questions during our initial phone call, video chat, or an in person meet and greet. Late policy: If after your pet sitting end time I don't have a booking scheduled(through Rover or otherwise) I may stick around for up to 20mins as a courtesy (if necessary.) If you're 20mins+ late to return to your pet/s, this will result in an additional fee in the case that I am available. If I have other commitments to tend to, I will have to leave after 20minutes. Please plan accordingly. Communication is key for both of us. Thank you.

If I'm pet boarding (in my home) not pet sitting which would be in your home: I'll have a small dog that can keep your pet company, and my spouse loves pets, so there will be 3 of us to spend time with your fur baby. I can take your dog on long walks or short potty breaks, depending on your dogs needs. I have a backyard, and I can play games with your furry friend in addition to going on walks.

A typical day
I can play games such as Tug Of War/Fetch/Frisbee/use cat toys with your pet and/or I can take your pet out on an adventure in the neighborhood. If your pet needs more of a relaxed time, we can make that happen as well. I may play Pet TV or pet soothing music sometimes to help your pet relax, while they're in a new environment. If your pet cares for it, I can gladly pet them, give them scratches, and plenty of snuggles.

Pet care experience
Hello, My name is Jayden (they/them pronouns), I've been caring for pets for 8 years. I've cared for dogs, cats, turtles, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, bunnies, etc. I've worked with pets of all ages, some on meds, as well as pets who have low/no vision or hearing. A bit about me: I'm a coffee lover, food enthusiast, and fan of nature. I have a 7-year-old dog named Leilei. My sister had a lot on her hands, so I took her in, and she's been with me ever since she was 1. If I'm sitting in your home, she'll stay with my life partner. 🙂 If I'm boarding she'll be around to play. She's bubbly and sweet. She may be shy at first, but she gets along well with everyone, once she gets to know them.

Above and beyond, as always. I've used them several times and it's always great. My elderly cat needs a lot of special care and regular assisted trips to the bathroom. But Jayden always does amazing and I came home to a clean house and not one accident to clean up (my cat often has accidents even when I am watching her personally so it would have been understandable). The best part are the very detailed updates on what Jayden has done for my kitty, as well as pictures AND video. It's hard to be away from home but they make it so easy and reassuring. 10000000 out of 10 stars.
Jayden has stayed with our pup Smith multiple times over the past year and they are consistently amazing! Smith gets so excited the moment they arrive at our house. They are reliable, highly communicative, and send the sweetest photo updates. It gives us total peace of mind knowing our pup is safe, happy, and well taken care of when we travel. They watch over our house, water the many plants and leave the house sparkling with the laundry done! We cannot recommend them enough!
Jayden is an angel sent from above. Our dogs positively loved them. Jayden provided updates 2 to 3 times a day while we were away, often with pics and videos, giving us such reassurance. This was our first time using Rover and the first time our dogs ever had a "stranger" (meaning: non-relative) staying with them and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We have been especially cautious with ensuring our nearly 15yo senior is in capable hands and Jayden hit the mark, taking care to walk the two dogs separately where the senior seemed to need a shorter bout than this younger sister. Jayden left the home clean and tidied up after themselves. It was such a joy to arrive back from our vacation to a warm home and two very happy dogs. We will 100% call upon Jayden next time we need them. They are just wonderful!
Went above and beyond to help with cleaning since our senior dog has accidents. Very thoughtful!
