“It was our first time getting a sitter to stay in our home and care for our 3 dogs for 2 days and Kathryn did not dissapoint. She was very attentive, sweet, patient, and understood all the directions on what to do for our 3 fur babies since they all have different eating habits and personalities. She made sure she texted me throughout her stay if she had any questions and sent us plenty of pics to keep us updated. She was very respectful of our home too. “Cane did a great job with a houseful of pets! We left him with 3 cats and 2 dogs, one very high-maintenance. The dogs were a little slow to warm up to him, but he was patient and turned their attitudes around. He texted updates frequently and left the house tidy, which we really appreciated at the end of a long trip! When we got back the animals seemed happy and well cared for. About: When it comes to pet care, I am an expert! I had worked as an AKC certified dog trainer for a little over a year, specializing in basic obedience training. I then moved on to P.A.W.S. of Tinely Park, a no-kill animal shelter. There I took care of 40+ dogs a day and, when I had the time, would also help out with the cats. I had been there over two years. Then I moved on to vet med as a vet assistant for cat/dog med but also worked in specialized exotics med for over 3 years. I feel this shows that I do well with animals that tend to be nervous, anxious, skidish, and fearful. I pride myself on knowing how to pick up on how your pet is feeling and adjusting my interactions accordingly. It might be worth mentioning that I have worked with dogs of all stress and anxiety levels in the past but have never once been injured. Proper handling is very important to me. Not only am I experienced with cats and dogs, but I have kept and worked with exotics as well! Such as small mammals (like: rabbits, chinchillas, mice, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, hedgehogs, etc.), birds, reptiles of both non venomous snake and lizard varieties, certain amphibians, tarantulas, and fresh water fish! So pets of all kind I am very open to. I also feel I should add that I have been using this app for a few years now and seem to have built up a great reputation for myself. About: I've spent time with dogs when I visited my aunt. She loved them and so do I. I also have 3 cats of my own and there all healthy boys. I've pet sit my friends house and his two dogs for a week once and it wasnt bad at all. I want to make your pet feel safe even when your not around. About: Since around 15 I have taken care of my own pets growing up (3 cats and 3 dogs) and now have a fur-baby of my own! I’ve been known to be now only a baby whisperer but an animal whisperer too. My love for animals makes me patient and understanding of what it takes to care for our precious fur-babies! I love awarding with treats, rubs, and of course, hugs and cuddles. About: I watched dogs before for my family members when they go out of town. I've also watched dogs when I was babysitting for families with kids. I'm currently a student who doesn't have a flexible schedule so it makes it hard to find a conventional job. It is easier for me to do jobs like this. I feed the pets in my clients home, walk them and play with them to make them felled loved and cared for while I am taking care of them when their owners aren't at home and have entrusted to me.
