Jayden was able to take Callie out a mere four hours after we left. Callie warmed up to them very quickly and snuggled a bunch, which is no small feat on Jayden's part. Jayden was very communicative and sent multiple updates a day, including photos and videos. They were quick to respond to messages, and they left our home spotless. I would love to book with them again for future trips!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals and truly love spending time with them. I had a German Shepherd named Sheba and two cats, Pichu and Mitzu, and I’ve also cared for friends’ pets. Through Rover, I’ve walked and cared for pets of a wide range of ages. I’m experienced with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving pets the attention and care they need to feel comfortable and happy. About: As a dog owner you should pick someone to care for your dog who has experience and loves dogs. Well, that care giver is me. Dogs are super energetic and absolutely loyal and that's what I love most about them. Trying to tire out a dog is fun because they're always ready for a game of fetch. If you choose me to care for your dogs you'll be receiving absolute professional service and a great experience for your dog. I have experience in walking, providing medication, and feeding dogs. Hopefully you pick me to care for your loving, four-legged friends. I work from home full-time so I am available for early morning, afternoon, and evening drop offs most week days and weekends as well. We can arrange a drop off on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 6pm. I have a cat already but they don’t require much attention. I have a big fenced back yard for your fur babies to run around. If you bring the crate I can easily crate them. I have a great neighborhood for dog walking.

About: I grew up in a household full of pets and have been lucky to live with people who also own pets, sharing the responsibility. Over the years, I've taken care of many dogs and several cats, rodents (guinea pigs and hamsters), hermit crabs, and fish. I have mostly owned small dogs and have been lucky to see them mature into their senior years, so I am familiar with the unique challenges that can come with age. I do feel comfortable walking and caring for dogs of any size. Right now, my family is fostering two 6-week old puppies who need lots of attention and care, so I am learning a lot about puppies. While I haven't yet charged for my services, I have been trusted by friends, family, and community members since I was 15 to pet-sit and house-sit. I graduated from college a year ago and have been bouncing around a lot, working ground control at music festivals. Between festivals, I need a place to stay, so I am especially looking for house-sitting opportunities to spend my time and have furry friends keeping me company. Other than sits and drop-ins, I'm not working, so I can give your loved ones the time and attention they deserve. I am big into travel, so I've met and lived with animals around the world. I've volunteered at shelters in the Bay Area, SoCal, and Louisiana. I was most recently living on a horse ranch in Georgia (the country) and took care of 2 farm dogs and a kitten. They were very independent and mostly required food, water, and serious cuddles. On the other hand, I've watched pets of various temperaments that had strict diets, medication schedules, and mental and physical health needs. I know every animal is different, and I'm happy to do all I can to care for yours just as you would. If your pet needs to sleep in bed with someone at night or other specific requests, I can do that. I will also be exploring Chicago for the first time, so if your dog has any favorite parks or routes, I would love to know!

“Very happy with Daniela as a pet/house sitter while we were overseas for 2-weeks. We don’t speak a common language, but my pets don’t speak English or Spanish either, so I wasn’t gonna let a language barrier be the sole reason to not hire someone. We used an audio translator app during the meet & greet, and most apps/ txt auto translate. I did provide an emergency contact of a bi-lingual friend. Thankfully we didn’t need to involve her. At the meet & greet, we practice giving my anxious cat’s oral tablet medication with dry kibble, and she was pretty good at it within a couple tries. Reassured me she would be able to administer when we’re gone. She sent regular photos/updates of our pets which always makes us happy and comfortable while traveling. We even had some HVAC issues while we were away, and Daniela was a trooper the whole time. Twice she helped coordinate a technician coming to the house since we couldn’t be there. She left the house very clean, trash taken out, bed made. Brought all our mail in. Watered the few plants we asked. Etc. I hope she’s available next time we travel. Thank you!”
