“Shani responded quickly to take a last minute long term booking. She was very communicative & hands on with Malcolm. Felt very comfortable leaving my baby while out of the country.”

“I honestly cannot say enough good things about her. From the moment I met her, she was so warm, kind, and welcoming. She kept me updated the entire time with pictures and messages which gave me so much peace of mind while Prince was with her. She went above and beyond in the most thoughtful ways. She even made a little report card for him which was the sweetest touch ever. It’s clear she truly cares and treats the dogs like her own. Prince was so loved and well taken care of. I would trust her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone genuinely kind, attentive, and amazing with dogs.”

“Janet was the best! I was nervous to leave my dog behind, but she eased my fears. She sent me pictures every day and her dogs welcomed my dog into their pack right away. He was sad to come home! I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful sitter. We’ll definitely be repeat customers! Thank you, Janet!”

“Tonisa was an awesome sitter for Koda. This was Koda’s first time being away from us for such a long period of time so i was apprehensive but after meeting Tonisa I felt at ease. During Koda’s stay, Tonisa sent frequent pictures and updates. I highly recommend!”

“Nemo took to Kathleen right away. She kept him busy with walking and playing with her children. She is a dog lover! He is as in good hands. Sent several pics too. Would definitely ask her to sit again.”

“It was our first time boarding Koda, so we were a little nervous about how he would handle it. Megan made the entire experience incredibly comforting and seamless. She kept us updated throughout the day, responded quickly, and truly put our minds at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Kamiah and Casius were great sitters for Bailey. For me, it was a very last minute booking and Kamiah was incredibly accommodating to make it work. She was also very quick to contact us on the first day when Bailey wasn't eating (but everything was fine, as this is how Bailey always is at a new place), and Bailey looked very happy in the photos and videos we got each day. Also, Kamiah's pick-up and drop-off were prompt and efficient. I definitely plan to use them again!”

“Kendra was awesome! She had great communication and sent lots of pictures. She made us very comfortable. Considering this was the first time being away from our pup.”

“Iman was AMAZING, my Colin enjoyed himself thoroughly. She was so good with him. Iman kept us informed daily about what Colin was doing. She sent pictures and videos of all the activities. Colin generally does not play with other dogs but while with Iman, he seemed to truly enjoy himself. Iman was soo gracious and understanding with us as we were a bit late with our pickup time. I have to say this experience was GREAT. I have used boarding facilities and doggie hotels in the past and my Colin has never had this much fun, all the photos and videos showed that he was having an awesome time. I absolutely recommend Iman for your furry baby, she is well trained and knows how to take good care of furrbaby.”

“My husband and I were a little worried to leave Bailey behind since she is very attached to us; but, after the meet and greet we knew everything was going to be ok. Candace did an amazing job with her and treated her like one of her own. We got daily pictures/videos of Bailey and little updates on how she was doing. I will definitely be using her again and we highly recommend her!”

“Tanisha was great! She provided daily updates along with pictures. I felt very comfortable leaving my little one with her. I would definitely recommend.”

“Thank you again Kayla for having my Lady girl for the weekend! Kayla does a great job caring for my pup and keeping me in the loop on how she is doing. I never have to worry about Lady being in good hands.”

“Bridget was amazing with our dog, Miller. Miller has separation anxiety and can be a hit or miss with sitters, but he warmed up to Bridget and her family right away. Great communication and felt extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend to let your dog stay with her family and pup of her own who is both adorable and friendly.”

“Manuel is the best sitter I could have found for my dog. He took such good care of my corgi Kit, and kept me updated the whole time. He looked after his sensitive paws and made sure Kit was entertained. I really appreciate the social time with other dogs that Kit got during his stay. Manuel is very responsive, attentive, kind, and reliable. Thank you so much for looking after my pup for the holidays. Will definitely book with Manuel again the next time I’m out of town.”

“My Gizelle walked right into Victoria's place inspecting every corner before Victoria could give her a proper greeting! Gizelle was very comfortable and tool to Victoria who sent photos throughout the days I was gone. Somehow Victoria got Gizelle to use a pee pad and play with a toy. Things she never does at home. I am grateful for Victoria's care. Thank you!”

“Liz took great care of G! She kept me in the loop with photos and updates on how he was doing. He played a lot and had a huge smile on his face during pick up! Will 1000% recommend”

“Sandy was great, she was sweet and kind, I could tell Jax was comfortable with her as soon as we arrived. She sent us consistent photo updates which really put me at ease on my trip knowing he was in good hands and having the best time!”

“Cassandra took great care of my dog Ace during his 4-day stay. I can tell he had a good time hanging out with her dog, Chewy. Cassandra was a pleasure to work with and I hope to use her services again for future boarding.”

“Roxy was responsive, arrived as scheduled, and checked on our pets as requested. I also appreciate Roxy bringing in our mail packages that were left at the door. Thank you!”

About: I know that cats are independent but still require consistent, attentive care, patience, and a calm presence. I am comfortable with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, fresh water changes, playtime, enrichment, and most importantly, respecting each cat’s individual comfort level—whether they are social and playful or prefer space and quiet companionship. In addition to general experience, I have many friends who own cats, and I’ve cared for their pets while they’ve been out of town for a week or longer. During those times, I handled daily feeding, litter box cleaning, check-ins, and playtime, making sure each cat remained comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. These experiences have made me very comfortable around cats and confident in reading their behavior and adjusting my care style accordingly. While I’ve never personally owned a cat yet, I’ve spent a lot of time around them and have grown very comfortable caring for them independently. I am actually looking forward to owning one in the near future to complete my little pet family, and I genuinely enjoy building trust with cats at their own pace.

“Toni is awesome! We were so at ease while traveling, knowing that our two cats were in great hands. Toni left thorough and thoughtful reports and took lots of pictures for us. We look forward to using Rover again and hope that Toni is available to watch them in the future.”

“Tara is fantastic. She gave Jim Catsby extensive attention and affection .He was engaged and playing beyond his usual low activity level. I was thrilled with all the fabulous photos she sent me through the day. I was so happy to know he wasn’t lonely or missing me. Thanks, Tara!”

“She plays with our cats every time and cleans up as well without us asking! She’s very reliable and we enjoy our cats being comfortable with her while we are gone.”

“Beverly was fantastic and we would use her again in a heartbeat! We ran into a key issue and she was so patient and helpful in adjusting and making sure our boys were well cared for and happy.”

“Gionna is absolutely fantastic! My rescue cat, who rarely comes out for anyone except me, followed Gionna around the house while she visited. I have to believe that means she’s a wonderful person!”

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for cats and understand that every cat has their own personality. Whether your cat loves to play or prefers quiet company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I’ll keep their litter box clean, follow their feeding routine, spend quality time with them, and give them affection at their own pace. My goal is to make your cat feel relaxed and cared for until you’re back home.
“Coretta took great care of my fur babies over Christmas vacation. As usual, she sent detailed visit summaries and photos for each visit, and she pointed out any unusual behavior or things that my cats had knocked over.”

“Anyah spent three days looking after our very shy cats and she took their standoffish nature in stride. She was communicative, organized, friendly, and punctual. Most importantly, she helped us out when we really needed a reliable pet sitter, and was unbelievable accommodating of our cats’ many quirks. We will absolutely be calling her first from now on.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets and began pet sitting in high school for my coaches and family. With over two years of recent experience, a flexible daytime schedule, and a pet-friendly neighborhood near the Pullman Monument and Arcade Park, I provide reliable, personalized care for dogs and cats while making life easier for pet owners. I work a part-time remote job, giving me flexible weekdays for pet care, including overnights. I mainly book weekdays but can make certain weekends work. I love to collaborate with clients to create the best experience for their pets, staying attentive to their needs and creating a calm, comfortable environment, for example, by playing soothing music for pets.

“Melissa is wonderful and our pets enjoy her care. She is reliable and very accommodating of our kids, pets, and general household disarray. Happy to recommend her! She walks our energetic 55 lb 1 yo several times a week, and has taken care of him and our two cats when we travel.”

About: I offer drop-in visits only for cats who are most comfortable in their own home. I follow your instructions to the letter; feeding, litter scooping, clean water, gentle, e pay, and a quiet, respectful presence.

“Jennifer did a superb job taking care of my kitty Mira while I was traveling! I am grateful to have found such a wonderful and reliable cat sitter. Very highly recommended!”

“Amazing!!!! Only five stars??? If it was more than 5 stars, Mia can have each & every last one, she is wonderful. The best decision was choosing Mia out of all the other sitters that were listed. Communication skills are top notch, fast replies, Mia stays in contact all throughout the day, plenty of photos and videos. I was 100% worry free while I was at work. Not once was I worried about my baby. And I know my baby can be a handful since he is a puppy, that did not stop Mia from taking my baby in and treating him like her own! I know for sure my baby had so much fun being with Mia. I can’t thank you enough!!! You’re truly a blessing! Thank you for taking such good care of Flash.”

About: I’m really a dog lover and have always been around them. They’re kids honestly. Imagine a different one per day that’s amazing to me ! Recently moved to Illinois where I now work for Alter Domus, an investment firm in Downtown Chicago and it’s work from home. I have all the time in the world to watch them !! Love them and it’s definitely therapy to me also. Continuing what I started in Ohio with Rover here ! My neighborhood is full of dogs and grass for them to walk. It’s away from danger and quiet, there might be a friend outside too.
“Eunita Was The Best Sitter Ever! My Pup Prince Loved Her & Barely Wanted To Come Home When I Arrived To Pick Him Up. My Experience Was Wonderful I Work Early Mornings And Eunita Was Able To Accommodate My Schedule. She Sent Me Pictures And Kept Me Updated On Prince Throughout The Day. If Your Looking For The Perfect Sitter..She’s The Best Choice!”

“We ABSOLUTELY love Courtney and her family! When we first started looking for a dog sitter, we were super nervous. Courtney and her family but as so at ease during our pups stay. He's become like a part of their family, as Courtney and her family has become ours. Rover, Courtney is THE BEST! New pup owners, if you're looking for someone honest, trustworthy, caring and more, don't wait! Book Courtney now! I promise you will not regret it.”

“Mercedes is literally the best. She sent me pictures of my Ryder throughout the day and he looked so happy. I knew that he was in good hands. I will definitely return!!”

“Maren has been a godsend to us. We brought Luna home at 8 weeks and I was super nervous about finding someone to look after her while my partner and I are at work. We were in a tricky position because she's not crate trained yet, so she needs all-day care, but doggy day care's won't accept her because she doesn't have all her shots. When I asked Maren to look after our little rascal 2x a week for 2 months, she was incredibly accommodating. It's been 2 weeks now since Luna has started "camp Maren" and it's been great. Maren communicates well and sends multiple updates throughout the day. Luna loves Maren so much that she does a little happy dance (which involves jumping, wiggling, and lots of kissing) every time they meet and I can tell she's not quite ready to leave when we come pick her up. If you want someone who will love and take care of your dog as her own, look no further! Thanks, Maren!”

“My dog loves Raymond and his wife Monica! They send great pictures of her while she's there; she's happy to go in and tired (in a good way) when we pick her up.”

“Having Tamya provide day care for our Weimaraner MacKenzie was the best decision! We traveled from the DC area to Chicago to visit the new Obama Presidential Library and Center and wanted to ensure she would be in good hands for the several hours we were away. About: What sets me apart is how seriously I take the trust you're placing in me. I understand that pets are family and leaving them in someone else's care can be difficult. That's why I approach every pet with patience, empathy, and genuine care. I take the time to learn their unique personality (energetic, shy, or just needs a little extra attention), routines, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and have the flexibility to give them the attention they deserve. With an open schedule, I can easily adapt to your pet's routine, whether that means morning walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company throughout the day. I know that being away from their owner can be an adjustment for some pets, so I do my best to create a calm, loving, and familiar environment where they feel safe and comfortable. My goal is for your pet to feel cared for and happy, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they're in compassionate and dependable hands. When caring for pets during drop-in visits and dog walks, I make it a priority to maintain the routine they're familiar with, so they feel comfortable and at ease. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their needs, whether that's a fun walk, playtime, mealtime, or some extra attention and affection. My goal is to provide thoughtful, reliable care that keeps your pet happy while giving you confidence that they're in good hands.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m patient, dependable, and make it my priority to keep pets safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to your pet’s routine, I’ll provide the same care and attention I’d want for my own pets. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals with different personalities and energy levels. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know your pet is in good hands. As a Division I student-athlete, I have basketball practice Monday through Thursday until around 1:30 p.m., which makes me available for afternoon, evening, and overnight pet care during the week. My weekends are completely open, giving me plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care. I enjoy staying active, so whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply needs companionship, I’ll make sure they receive the same love and attention I give my own pets back home. Since I currently live in a dorm, I’m unable to provide pet care in my own home. However, I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar environment. I treat every home with the utmost respect by keeping it clean, organized, and exactly as I found it. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, make sure they feel safe and comfortable, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing both your pet and your home are in good hands.

“With the busy schedules my husband and I have, we use Melissa weekly for recurring walks. She is great about picking up extra walks when we need, so our fur baby has some consistency with all traveling I do for work. Bruno loves her and I love the peace of mind she gives us! Thanks Melissa for all you do!”

About: Growing up I always wished having my own pet but due to my moms allergies I spent every chance taking care of neighbors & family pets x I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all kinds since I was 15 years old. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide loving care for their pets. Then in college I started pet sitting as aside gig to pay for my business books. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large, high-energy pups, and I understand how to cater to their unique needs. Whether it’s keeping up with a playful pup, ensuring a senior dog is comfortable, or giving cats their much-needed space and affection, I provide attentive and compassionate care. For the past three years, I’ve been an active pet sitter on TrustedHousesitters, completing 25 sits across the U.S. and Mexico. Many of these have been long-term stays, giving me experience with different pet personalities, routines, and special care needs. As a remote worker, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets extra attention throughout the day. I also have experience administering medication and following special dietary routines if needed. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule which allows me to schedule in drop ins, morning/mid day walks and other errands in between. I also have access to a car which allows me to drive to pet owners homes when needed. My biggest recommendation for new pet owners I work with is to provide a detailed list and tour of their homes to learn about their security measures. This helps me ensure that I can also protect their privacy and security. Communication is a key component so I always send a picture during/after a check in or walk to confirm safety of pet and home.
“Roxy is the best. If I could, I would give her 10 stars. Amber has had 3 walks with Roxy now and she loves it. Amber is a 8 month old puppy who is not easy to handle. Roxy takes her time to make my pup comfortable and happy. She gives out a gist at the end of each walk and it really gives me a collective idea on how to train my dog. We are really happy with Roxy and we are planning to be her repeat client.”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up. I would make sure they’re fed and walked and had playtime after. Making sure all 5 dogs would be in a nice playful environment. As of right now i am completely free of pets but i do work with dogs daily and pretty soon i will have a dog of my own I am currently driving around and have a cage for the dog to go to different parks and other locations I stumbled across from other times I walked dogs of friends

“I booked Tabbie to walk our doggies and she was a lifesaver these past couple of days. Tabbie was very responsive, prompt, courteous and on time. She even asked if I wanted to walk them longer which I appreciated that a lot. A tired dog is a good dog and they were nice and tired. I will definitely be using Tabbie for more dog walks!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—dogs, cats, and everything in between. What sets me apart is that I truly get pets. I know how to read their body language, meet their emotional needs, and create a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and happy. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from high-energy pups to slow-moving seniors. I’m patient with leash training, gentle with nervous animals, and happy to give medication if needed. If your pet has a routine, I’ll stick to it like clockwork. If they just need company and love, I’m all in. To me, this isn’t just a job—it’s about caring for your pet like they’re family. I’m home full-time, so your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and company throughout the day. Whether it’s regular walks, play breaks, or just being nearby for comfort, I’m available and fully present. My flexible schedule makes it easy to accommodate your pet’s routine—early mornings, midday walks, or evening check-ins included. I live right off 93rd & Pleasant in North Beverly, with a huge yard where your dog can safely play, explore, and chase a ball (or two). It’s a secure, peaceful space that’s perfect for outdoor time. I’m also just steps away from the Dan Ryan Forest Preserve—ideal for nature walks full of fresh air, trails, and plenty of exciting things to sniff. Whether your pup needs adventure or a calm environment, I’ve got it covered. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority. I follow all care instructions, never leave pets unattended outside, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.
About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years, so caring for animals has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have helped raise, train, exercise, and comfort dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was also a cat owner for over a decade, which gave me experience with pets who have very different personalities, routines, and comfort levels. My family has been pet sitting for nearly 10 years, and I helped with a lot of that care over the years. Through that, I learned how important it is to be reliable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s needs. Now that I am on my own, I am excited to start offering pet care myself and to provide pets with the same kind of safe, loving care I would want for my own animals. I am a teacher, but I am currently on summer break, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I have plenty of availability during the day, evenings, and weekends, while still being dependable and consistent with the care I provide. I am able to work around each pet’s routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. In my home, pets will have a safe, clean, and comfortable space to relax and feel cared for. I live in a large 3-bedroom apartment with secure doors that create natural barriers throughout the apartment, which makes it easy to separate spaces when needed or help a pet feel more comfortable. There are no other pets in the home, so your pet will receive my full attention without having to adjust to unfamiliar animals. One of the best parts of my home is the fully fenced-in backyard. There is plenty of space for dogs to run around, play, use the bathroom, or just stretch their legs safely. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, water, comfort, and supervision based on each pet’s normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow the owner’s instructions closely so the pet can stay on their usual schedule. I know how important consistency is, so I pay attention to feeding times, walks, medication instructions, favorite toys, comfort needs, and any house rules. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they are in my home or their own. Please note, I only sit pets from 1 household at a time - that way your pet(s) get all of my attention!
“Megan was a wonderful addition to our extended pet family! She was on time and always sent every update on every walk with photos. She’s a very kind woman and my pets loved her! She took my one dog on walks and helped my senior dog go outside and was successful in keeping my escape artist cat in the house. About: Hi there! I'm Tynetta, your neighborhood work-from-home pet auntie. 🐾 I work remotely during the day, which means your furry family member gets plenty of company, potty breaks, playtime, and belly rubs instead of being left alone for hours. Whether your pet is a professional napper, an energetic explorer, or simply wants someone nearby while they snooze, I'm happy to match their pace. Outside of pet sitting, I work in public health and spend my days helping people build healthier communities. Friends would describe me as calm, dependable, and ridiculously organized. Pets seem to appreciate that too. I'm happy to send regular photo updates (expect lots of candid "living their best life" moments), follow your pet's routine closely, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away. A few fun facts about me: • I work from home, so your pet gets lots of companionship throughout the day. • I'm an early riser and love getting outside for walks. • I'm patient with shy pets and enthusiastic enough for the zoomie crowd. • I'm the kind of person who will absolutely learn your dog's favorite toy, your cat's preferred napping spot, and all the little quirks that make them who they are. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. My goal is simple: when you come home, your pet is happy, relaxed, and maybe just a little disappointed that their vacation with me is over. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home most days. That means I'm around to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy having a furry coworker keeping me company while I work! I also like starting and ending my day with walks, so caring for pets blends seamlessly into my schedule without leaving them alone for long stretches. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll follow their feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special preferences you share. I'll keep their space clean, make sure they have fresh water, lots of affection (if they enjoy it!), and I'll send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're doing well. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.
About: I’ve Taken care of and trained over dozens of animals in over 6 years. I was an assistant pet trainer/groomer at a dog kennel. And volunteer for several animal shelters. I love taking care of animals of all kind, but specifically cats and dogs! I’m currently working part time remotely, so I’ll have a lot of time to make sure you pet is loved and cared for! I have a cat of my own and I always make sure she’s happy and healthy! I like to take walks 2-3 times a day so I don’t mind making sure your fur baby has had plenty of potty breaks. I live in a gated community with a fence separating me from my neighbors. I also have a huge backyard and plenty of space to keep your animals active and happy. I also love taking walks and having outside time. They deserve to have fun and enjoy their day too!
About: I grew up in a home where we treat our dogs as family. I've cared for 4 dogs separately in my life time, 3 of which were via my parents home and one of which on my own in my first apartment in Chicago IL. Dogs almost never miss a beat with approaching you with so much love & joy when you come home and so I feel I should only do the same with how I care for them; i.e making sure their dishes are clean that they receive enough walks & play time for the day, that they also receive treats not just for good behavior but just because they're wonderful. My specialty is communicating with him or her of their needs and servicing them to satisfactory.

About: I love animals and working for pets would be so amazing as they are very close to my heart. I have done 2 cat sitting jobs and helped take care of a friend dog. I love taking care of cats, including my cat Simba right here. In my spare time I also help volunteer at the Tree House Cat Shelter and rescue some cats to take to my local no kill shelter. I also help support the Ian Somerhalder Foundation where we care for the animals and the environment. Even though I am in college right now my schedule is very flexible. Also, I do travel on public transportation. For more info and resumes please contact me. I hope to hear from you real soon for sitting jobs.

About: I volunteered in animal shelters before for the past four years. With the experience of volunteering, I believe to be a patient person spending time with cats and dog. You learn to bound and have fun with them. Pets for me are just like kids. I want to provide the best care and give the attention your pet needs. I have so much love for animals. I guarantee you that your pet with me will be in great hands. Any resquest, I’ll be glad to help & accept. I have flexible hours. Open days and weekends. Potty breaks and meals are upon your request. Look forward to providing the servecies you need. And I hope to meet your best friend. Thank you for the time.
