“Jayden always does such a phenomenal job with my senior cat. My kitty is rather incontinent and very old, so naturally it is difficult to leave her with many people, but Jayden always treats her so well. They always ask specifically what my cat needs, keep me well updated, and my house cleaner than I left it. I never feel like I'm bothering them when I text and ask for updates. They really understand how hard it can be to leave your pet and that makes it so much easier to relax on vacation. Jayden is the only pet sitter we will use!!”

“Tara is fabulous with my cat. I appreciated how much time and energy she spent playing with Jim Catsby. She sent me awesome photos and a video of their time together. Tara really cares about Jim, and leaving him happy. I’m grateful for her passion for pets and their care. She is motivated to give our pets the best experience possible.”

“Alexa was a very thoughtful, thorough, and kind sitter. She followed all the house rules and Nala rules. She left our home better than when we came back. We will definitely hire her again.”

“Kathryn is an amazing dog sitter. She has dog sat for us multiple times and she always does a great job. She comes exactly when she says she will and the dogs love her. She leaves our house clean and sends multiple pictures and updates throughout the day. Thank you for being so trustworthy Kathryn!”

“Nicole did an amazing job! She tried her best to maintain the same schedule our dog is used to. She took her out for walks and kept her mind mentally challenged. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Ava was wonderful with our 3 pups. She knew how to manage their chaos and treated them so sweetly. She left the place looking great and really just went above and beyond. We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Lizbeth is a life saver! She was able to help me take care of my 10 year old German Shepard at a last minute notice and she took such good care of him. She kept in constant communication and send pictures with updates and how my dog was doing. She went out of her way to take very good care of him and I came back home to a happy doggo. She’s highly recommended and I will definitely be using her services in the future.”

“Whitney did a great job with our dog. Our dog needed extra attention because she has separation anxiety. Whitney was able to stay the night a few days. She had great communication with us throughout the whole process. We definitely use her service again.”

About: I grew up in a household full of pets and have been lucky to live with people who also own pets, sharing the responsibility. Over the years, I've taken care of many dogs and several cats, rodents (guinea pigs and hamsters), hermit crabs, and fish. I have mostly owned small dogs and have been lucky to see them mature into their senior years, so I am familiar with the unique challenges that can come with age. I do feel comfortable walking and caring for dogs of any size. Right now, my family is fostering two 6-week old puppies who need lots of attention and care, so I am learning a lot about puppies. While I haven't yet charged for my services, I have been trusted by friends, family, and community members since I was 15 to pet-sit and house-sit. I graduated from college a year ago and have been bouncing around a lot, working ground control at music festivals. Between festivals, I need a place to stay, so I am especially looking for house-sitting opportunities to spend my time and have furry friends keeping me company. Other than sits and drop-ins, I'm not working, so I can give your loved ones the time and attention they deserve. I am big into travel, so I've met and lived with animals around the world. I've volunteered at shelters in the Bay Area, SoCal, and Louisiana. I was most recently living on a horse ranch in Georgia (the country) and took care of 2 farm dogs and a kitten. They were very independent and mostly required food, water, and serious cuddles. On the other hand, I've watched pets of various temperaments that had strict diets, medication schedules, and mental and physical health needs. I know every animal is different, and I'm happy to do all I can to care for yours just as you would. If your pet needs to sleep in bed with someone at night or other specific requests, I can do that. I will also be exploring Chicago for the first time, so if your dog has any favorite parks or routes, I would love to know!
About: I’ve been caring for animals since grammar school and have always had a deep appreciation for the role pets play in a family. Over the years I’ve lived in multi-pet households — at one point sharing a home with three dogs and four cats — and I’ve personally had three cats of my own. Our family Doberman passed a few years ago, and while we currently don’t have pets of our own, that has opened the door for us to provide a loving space for yours. For the past two years, I’ve proudly been a Rover sitter and have maintained a 5-star rating by treating every pet like part of the family. Our home offers a calm, family-style environment where dogs are included in daily life — not isolated or treated like they’re in a facility. Because of this, we focus on caring for well-behaved dogs who are comfortable in a home setting and respectful of their surroundings. Dogs that require constant separation due to behavioral issues are often better suited for kennel-style care. Our goal is to create a safe, relaxed environment where dogs who thrive in a family atmosphere can feel at home. If your dog enjoys being part of the pack and settling into a warm, structured household — we’d love to welcome them. I currently work part time in the music industry and real-estate. I have flexible days to offer for your pets. My wife and daughter are also very good with pets. In a way, you get 3 care givers for the price of one! I have a spacious backyard that has a secure 6 foot wooden fence all the way around the property. My family and I currently do not have pets besides our fish, Blueberry, so all our attention can be focused on your loved one.
“Stephanie is highly recommended. She stayed at our home and cared for the dogs like they were her own. She took them to the dog park daily and played with them in the yard. She also texted daily and sent pictures. I'm already considering her for another job.”

About: I was born and raised with Dobermans by my side, but my expertise does not just span large dogs--but also small dogs, puppies, seniors, cats, and other furry friends. I’ve been a reliable pet sitter, taking care of my friend’s and family’s cats and dogs. I’ve ensured they’re well-fed, entertained, and they have taken care of business 💩. I’ve stayed at homes and made drop-in visits, so I can provide flexible care. I understand that your pets are like family members, so I’ll treat them with the same patience and respect they deserve! I am currently working part time at an office and applying for other jobs. I have a lot of extra time on my hands and I am looking to fill it by spending time with animals and getting my steps in! I am open for last minute bookings!!! I prioritize your pet’s comfort by following your specific care routine. My process begins by gaining your pet's trust through a calm, patient approach, ensuring they feel safe before we dive into anything. I like to keep the line of communication open with the pet parent to ensure transparency throughout the whole process. I maintain a consistent schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and affection to minimize any anxiety they may face without their typical routine away from parents.
Beverly pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jayden has stayed with our pup Smith multiple times over the past year and they are consistently amazing! Smith gets so excited the moment they arrive at our house. They are reliable, highly communicative, and send the sweetest photo updates. It gives us total peace of mind knowing our pup is safe, happy, and well taken care of when we travel. They watch over our house, water the many plants and leave the house sparkling with the laundry done! We cannot recommend them enough!
Sara was amazing! We set up a meet and greet so she was able to meet Lela. There was a very comfortable feeling with the interaction with her and my dog. She came into my home and not only took care of Lela but played with her outside. I got updates, because I was the one feeling anxious. I will continue to use Sara for future sittings.
