“Great experience with Pablo! This was our first time using Rover in general, so I was a nervous dog mom of course. Our dog, Ralph, had a wonderful weekend with Pablo and we highly recommend his services. We received many pictures from Pablo over the weekend which was so nice of him.”

“Fiona was an all around excellent pet sitter. From the initial consult to the key return she was communicative and professional. She took such good care of my girls and my home, and sent plenty of updates and pictures! She truly went above and beyond for me and my pets and handled every hiccup (on my end) with tact and kindness. I will be booking her everytime I need a sitter! :)”

“Allison was amazing. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than family, and Allison made me feel so comfortable. My dog seemed to love her, and she left my apartment as clean or cleaner than when I left! I would 100% recommend Allison and will plan to book her again in the future!”

“Kelso was absolutely incredible taking care of my doggo child who can be a handful, I completely felt at ease with my dog son in her care! She kindly gave me updates, pics, video, and even got him his first pup cup which he loved! She administered his AM & PM meds without missing any, gave him his special meals, and was able to handle his dog reactivity on walks & keep my boy safe & other dogs safe as well. Cookie was even sad to see her go as he made a new bff, and he’s a picky lil guy. She’s super easy going and down to earth, I will definitely be rebooking the next time I need a doggo sitter & will be recommending for any friends who need dog sitters too!! 🙏🙌👌💖💖💖💖💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🐶☺️🤩”

“Nicole went absolutely above and beyond! She took the time to do a meet and greet to make sure my cats were comfortable with her and she was able to successfully administer meds. Very thankful to have found a reliable and caring sitter - would highly recommend!”

“As a first time Rover user, Allison eased my concerns and was a great fit for my pup. She checked in to let me know when she arrived/left, reached out with any questions during her stay and sent pictures :)”

The daily pictures and updates she sent were appreciated and we could tell our dogs were well cared for. We will definitely be using her services in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Christopher was absolutely awesome to work with. Chris house sat for us with my dog Fiona. Chris. Was incredibly communicative throughout the whole process from coming over before his stay to meet Fiona to giving us updates while we were out of town on how our girl was doing. “Carolyn did such an amazing job housesitting. I had to book last minute due to an emergency and she was at my place within an hour. My apartment looked just as it was when I left it, and Carolyn followed instructions perfectly. She was very communicative and very thoughtful with my anxious dog. I am so glad to have found her in such a pinch and will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have done occasional pet sitting since I was in high school. I have two cats of my own that I absolutely adore. I would love to cuddle and take care of your kitties! I work 8-4 during the week, but I typically have an hour or so to step away and visit your pets. I also have an open schedule on the weekends. Having two cats myself, I understand that animals need time to adjust to a new person. I usually let the animals come to me when they feel safe and ready.
“I appreciate that Omar took the time to meet with me beforehand so my dog could get comfortable with him, that actually makes a big difference. He followed all the instructions I provided. My place was left exactly how I left it which shows he respects my space, and that’s always a plus. I’m booking him again soon!”

Near West Side pet parents share their Rover experiences
Em was great with our four year old German shepherd/malinois mix who can be difficult at times. Unfortunately he had some stomach issues during her visit and Em took wonderful care of him. She sent plenty of pictures and updates which was much appreciated. It was a worry-free weekend vacation because of Em! Em stayed at our place for the weekend and left it in spotless condition. We look forward to our next trip knowing that we can trust Em to take care of the pets and the Condo!

Jena was an amazing sitter for our senior dog Gus. Gus has a few new challenges in his later years and Jena handled it all like a pro. She was flexible with his early morning wake ups, made sure he always got his meds on time and gave him the right amount of walks and attention to match his slower pace. She checked in with me the perfect amount throughout her stay, providing updates and pictures. We felt very comfortable having Jena in our home. She took great care of the space and left it cleaner than before. As Gus gets older, it gets harder and harder each time we need to leave him. With Jena we felt so good knowing he was in the best hands. We will absolutely reach out to Jena again for our future trips.

We had a fantastic experience with Ezgi house-sitting for our dog, Maximus. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, and she kept us updated with tons of photos and messages throughout our trip. Seeing how happy and well cared for Maximus was gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly relax while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly treated Maximus like her own. We came home to a happy dog and a well-cared-for home. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Maximus! 🐾

Lifesaver!! Due to some emergency travel issues, we needed Gianni just stay with our dog for an extra night. This was during horrible storms in Chicago. She acted quickly, changed her plans and was able to stay another night with our dog. Cannot thank her enough.

Mairead is a modern day Snow White. I returned to two happy and well cared for cats. Even my neighbor's cat stopped by to visit. And my millipede, which I hadn't seen for a month, made an appearance! I am especially grateful that Mairead provided expert care to my one cat that requires medication and a specific diet. I would 100% book with her again.

Allison has been an amazing dogsitter for our dog, Max. This is the third time we’ve worked with her, and she continues to exceed expectations every time. She’s reliable & communicative, and most importantly Max is always happy and well taken care of when we return. It gives us real peace of mind knowing he’s in such great hands. Highly recommend Allison!

Absolutely — updated for two cats: Alyssa is a wonderful cat sitter! She has watched our two cats several times and is always reliable, communicative, and caring. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands while we’re away. We highly recommend Alyssa!

If I could give Chloe more than five stars, I would. I have two dogs, and neither of them are exactly "easy mode." My older dog, Stewie, is a senior who is beginning to lose his vision. He wasn't properly socialized when he was younger, and although he has made tremendous progress over the past few years, he's still very nervous around strangers and can become reactive when stressed. My younger dog is an absolute sweetheart, but she's a recent rescue who gets overly excited and reactive around other dogs because she desperately wants to play with everyone she sees. To make matters even more stressful, I was leaving for a week-long work trip when everything fell apart. I originally had another sitter booked who had already met my dogs beforehand. However, once I left, Stewie became extremely stressed and started acting nippy. The sitter contacted me and told me she could no longer watch him. While scrambling to figure things out through Rover, I found another sitter, but after meeting Stewie, she declined as well. At that point, I was panicked. I was out of town, facing the possibility of having no one to care for my dogs, and feeling completely overwhelmed. Then Chloe stepped in. She came to meet my little crazy old man, handled the situation with patience and confidence, and never made me feel like my dogs were too much. She cared for both dogs all week, kept me updated, and gave me incredible peace of mind during what could have been a complete disaster of a trip. Not only did she take amazing care of my dogs, but she went above and beyond in ways I never expected. She picked up paper towels when I ran out, swept my apartment, and was simply kind, thoughtful, and professional throughout the entire experience. Chloe showed so much patience, flexibility, and compassion during a genuinely chaotic situation. It's clear she truly cares about the animals she watches and understands that every pet has their own quirks and challenges. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and genuinely wonderful with animals, book Chloe. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future.
