“Jeff was amazing with our girl Xo, for her first time alone someone other than immediate family. After providing me with constant reassurance that my girl would be ok, she surely seemed to be once she was picked up. After allowing the initial meet & greet, Xo was happy to meet and play with Jeff. He allowed me to give specific direction and talk about her daily life with training and other details. Not only was I put at ease, Xo is naturally an anxious dog with separation anxiety, Jeff helped her with her fears and brought her out of that mental state. A huge plus for that. He allows her on furniture which is perfect as she enjoys snuggling and sleeping next to someone. He kept me updated, even sent pictures which to me, is a sign of a caring and an understanding person. Jeff is a laid back kinda guy. He made a few arrangements to tend to my needs which helped a ton for my reasoning in leaving her to begin with. That above all, showed me just how much he’s willing to help and care for a pet as his own. Thank you Jeff, for all the reassurance I was given, the quality of care you provided to both me and my girl, and best of all, for being such a chill person who understands and respects myself and my partner in crime! I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort, especially when they are in a new situation without their owner. About: I’ve volunteered at Anti-Cruelty and fostered two very sweet (and very challenging!) pitbulls in the last year. I’ve had dogs my whole life and believe wholeheartedly in creating a safe, loving, and playful environment for all dogs in my care. I work fully remote 8am to 5pm, so am available both during the week and on weekends! I have the flexibility to take regular walk and play breaks. I have no pets or children in my home. I live in a one-bedroom apartment on the 24th floor with my partner, Ryan, who loves dogs as much as I do. We believe in creating a welcoming environment for all our foster dogs and clients’ dogs!
