About: I grew up with animals, including a beloved cat, Samantha, that lived for 21 years. My mom, brother and sister all have dogs or cats currently that I regularly sit for — including weeks-long stints, long walks around the neighborhood, swim time at the beach, or quick check-ins with some playtime. I’m extremely organized, dependable and responsible. I’ve taken dogs to urgent care when needed (once for a hot spot and once for an eye ulcer) and ensured they got the best care possible and followed the post-care protocol to the tee. I adore animals, but I’m just not ready to commit to my own just yet — would love to get the chance to play and care for yours soon! I currently work from home full time and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I try to take walks every day, and they're always better with a Rover buddy! I live in a gated apartment building, and have a small patio and rooftop with a small porch potty installed and an area to run around. I also live walking distance to 3 parks and a mile from the lakefront path. I have had different apartment setups depending on the dog and their specifications (slept in bed, slept in crate, made a special area in my guest bed, etc.).

About: I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog and have watched/walked countless dogs throughout my 24yrs of life. From energetic to mellow, introverted to extroverted, and aggressive to gentle. I have always been able to breakthrough and bring out the sweethearts they are! I have experience working with mistreated Pit Bulls during my time in college. On top of that, I spent a summer volunteering in a dog van bathing service. Plain and simple, I have spent a lot of time with dogs! I truly love them and think they are all wonderful with the proper care and affection! Pet care is my primary focus as of now. Willing and able to work whenever possible! I recently graduated from Colorado State and will be attending Northwestern for my masters in the fall. Until then, I will be dog walking/sitting. I look forward to working with you all! I have a spacious three floor apartment with one roommate, who is also a huge dog lover and well experienced with dogs. We have an outdoor fenced in patio that is suitable for all dogs. We also have no other animals in the house. We are smoke free and all house plants are animal friendly. In terms of care, I first assure the dog feels safe and comfortable. Time is needed in order to let them become so. Secondly, I make sure simple needs are met: water, food, bathroom. It is all about being aware and open to a dog’s subtle gestures. The right environment is crucial to set the tone and mood of the dog! In my care, I hope to make every dog feel safe and loved!

My company is also super flexible and understanding when I need to step away for my own dogs needs. I typically take a dog out 2 to 3 times per day during working hours. On top of that I will take them out first thing in the morning and right before they go to bed, as well as one personalized walk in the middle of the day. Evening is dedicated dog time. After work, I will prioritize giving ample amounts of attention, including playing, cuddles, and copious attension I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, which has given me experiences to keep them safe and happy. My space is very tidy, leaving nothing on the floor for a dog to get into. I also have a bell system set up on my front door so the dogs can let me know when they need to go out. About: I owned a pet sitting company in St. Louis, so I have vast experience with dogs and cats (and a few chinchillas along the way). I've administered medications and am particularly loving with our senior friends. I will give your babies the utmost care and consideration, with communication to you top priority. I have a senior dog in the house. His sight isn't the greatest these days, so it would be great for him to have a buddy to walk with! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible for your furry loved one! I do not have a yard, but I have a large condo so plenty of space to be free and roam. Cats in particular love the open floor plan and window perches.
