I’m a lifelong dog owner and a lifelong dog lover! My very first dog was a shihtzu who lived until she was 17. I have as much experience with the running around and keeping up with a pup as I do slowing down and meeting their needs. As my sweet girl crossed the rainbow bridge, I learned a lot about how to accommodate senior dogs and how to navigate their care. My family adopted a Burmese mountain doodle as well, so i’ve definitely got some experience on BOTH sides of the size spectrum. 😂 I’m familiar with the finicky nature of yorkies, the bold yet gentle nature of goldens, and the sassiness of corgis. I know every dog has their quirks, and discovering and working with them is one of the joys of being alive. Since my family raised all of our dogs from puppies, im very comfortable looking after younger dogs. I am very active so I can help get your pups energy out! We can run and fetch and make sure you have a peaceful home when you get off from work! I can also trot along with our older dogs and make sure they’re getting their medication, etc. I can also cook their food as i’m experienced with homemade food for pets. Care is one of my biggest traits so being able to extend that to your four legged loved ones would come next to nothing for me. There are very many paw prints on my heart and I hope maybe your dog can leave one too :) ps- you’ll always get super cute candid pictures of your dog from me too! and maybe even a doodle :D

Sky was so so great! Amazing communication and so good with our pup. She sent plenty of updates but they almost didn’t feel needed because I could tell Zinnia was in good care. Thank you Sky!!
Sky was super responsive and helpful! She was flexible too. She took great care of the pups, which isn’t the easiest with our 14yo yorkie 💙 she played with our energetic Honey and took sweet pictures for us of both. Appreciated her care and will book again when my parents are in town and need a sitter!

Sky was great! My dog likes attention and has had minor issues with getting a bit anxious or restless when away from me for longer stays, but she liked sky so much she didn’t seem to notice. Sky made sure my dog got some activity every day and sent plenty of updates.
Sky provided top notch care for Groot! Several picture updates and cute memes of them gave me confidence in her quality care giving skills. It helps that Groot came home super tired from all of their playtime! Will book again!

I have open availability. My schedule can revolve around what’s necessary. I’m an artist so since I make my own schedule, there are no interruptions.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a very dog friendly apartment building. We have a dog wash area downstairs- pet friendly. There are a handful of big open fields near my building and plenty of walking paths! I have routes picked out for dogs who need super long walks to get all that energy out; and shorter routes for our older friends who need to just go potty and right back inside. I am 8 minutes from Puptown dog park, so friendly dogs get to have a great time here. Cuddly quiet dogs who have attachment issues as well as avoidant buddies have plenty of space in the apartment to cozy up or- hold their own space! I have open availability constantly so your pup is never left unattended for long. Your dog will have their own space and be the center of my attention while we’re together.
A typical day
I love a walk to the beach, a good walk on the Lakefront trail, and the anticipation of a dog approaching the park :D For dogs that can handle it, I love to have them accompany me on my errands. I love making art with the dogs around. Some dogs want to watch and others could not care less. Either way, I love having them just be a part of my day while also centering their wellbeing within it. I loveeee to take walks on my own and having a furry buddy accompany me makes them that much better! I keep a pupflask, travel food, a cooling pad and fans on me at all times! Their comfort is my number one priority.

- Any medication routines: please provide a detailed breakdown of administration. Any quirks: please be honest about! If your dog does “that one thing” that makes sense to no one but them, i’ll make sure to stay true to it! Tell me about your dog in a way that if they spoke english they’d be upset with you for sharing THAT much about them. I want to make sure your baby feels like they’re in a home away from home!
